Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

a) The moment that was supposed to be in the finale, imo of course:

Danny drives her home, walks her to the front door, and slightly runs his finger over her headwound. He asks her if she's ok, she says yes and goodnight. Danny sits in the car, waiting for the light in her apartment to go on.

b) Ok, I read the spoilers (cos I'm hopeless like that), and maybe it will take Lindsay being in peril that has Danny confessing how he feels before sending her out on the undercover operation.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Hi all!!! I'm just taking a break from studying...History of Art can get boring after a while, especially if you hit the dark period of Baroque.

Anyway, to answer Ladee's questions:
A) I also agree that their intimate scene was suppose to be in the last ep, but they decided against it, because of the case. However, I think that it was at the very end, after Danny took Lindsay home, maybe they were kissing in front of her building or in the car. Or maybe something more "misterious" - Lindsay walking inside, Danny standing on the street waiting for her to get in. Then she turns around and she's telling him with her eyes to follow her. And he does. :D

b) Their interesting moment...hmm...well, maybe Danny will be very angry because of Lindsay going undercover and while in that mood he accidently admits that he's afraid for her because he cares for her too much.

Rad , good question. I think that at first they wouldn't stay at each other houses. Perhaps, Lindsay would feel that Danny isn't that kind of guy, and she wouldn't pressure him. BUt, then I think that Danny would be the one accidently falling asleep at Lindsay's place, and neither of them would make a big deal out of it. Actually, they will continue this new routine, with changing places from time to time. But I don't think anyone would start a conversation of what does that mean.

big wave to all of you

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

I think the intimate scene is going to be the hostage episode i`m not sure what number it is but i read they share a look in it and i think in that look the connect emotionally but that just my two cents

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

It was in the finale, Carmine mentioned it in his interview.

I don't think Danny is admitting his feelings in ep 2. He tries to talk her out of going undercover, but he doesn't really mention why he doesn't. Obviously we know why he does... From what I've read, I don't see it. He is angry with her, but I don't think he says anything about his feelings.

I'm wondering if the intimate moment is a conversation between the two of them where Lindsay admits why she has problems with mothers and Danny comforts/advises her. Because, at the end, Lidnsay does go and talk with the mother.

Stay over- I don't know.

Who would make the first move- I really think it might be Lindsay. If it were any other girl, Danny wouldn't hesitate, but this is Lindsay and he doesn't want to mess things up.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Good morning my shippy dearies! **waves and passes out coffee and Hershey's kisses!** How are y'all this lovely Tuesday morning? :D

SecretSoph yeah I could see something like your scenario...that'd be cute, tender and caring...I like it :D

Mis hey hon! History of Art huh....fun for you! ;) Heehee! I like your "mysterious" scenario...I could totally see that happening...that would totally be something the writers would do...imply something intimate without actually showing anything. (At which point I would be yelling at the tv..."What is happening? Show me!!!") As for your interesting moment...yeah I could see it being that. I would love for Danny to admit that....love it! :D

P3k hiya fellow fluffy :D Yeah I read about that moment too...I don't know if that's what they were talking about...but I can't wait to see that moment anyway! :D

Piz yeah I agree...I think if it were any other girl Danny would not hesitate to ask her out...but I think that's because it wouldn't matter as much to him. But because Linds really does matter to him and because he really does care about her, he's hesitant to make a move because like you said he doesn't want to mess things up with her. So I could totally see Linds realizing that and deciding to make a move....something which might surprise Danny but which he would totally appreciate as soon as she did!

**tosses kisses and m&m's at all her pals and skips out to her D/L gutter bubble!**

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

*hugs Allie I'm sorry about your friend honey*

I'm going with Moriel and Piz on that one. I think if it was any other girl, Danny would be all over it. But its Linds, makes it .. *coughsspecialcoughs*

Stay Over - I don't know. Hard to tell really.

I guess whatever he says/does works if she goes to talk to the mother anyways, as for the other one, I dunno when he admits it.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Awwww... **hugs Allie**...we'll think of you on Thursday hon, and no worries we'll keep D/L safe for ya! ;)

Lol, yeah Lynny Linds does make it special alright...she's Danny's other half...his "The One"...his soulmate...and when that's on the line, you tend to not want to mess it up! Then again...if he's willing to make a move and take a chance (which let's be honest there's really no risk, cuz she loves him back so it's a safe bet!) but yeah if he makes a move he'll, they'll, have everything they ever wanted! :D :D :D

Hey here's a question...we've met Danny's brother...have we met any of Linds' family? What if that was to happen this season...that we meet a family member of Linds'....who would you want it to be and in what context? :D

Psssstt... Aud where is you? :D

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Allie I'm really sorry about your friend. *hugs*

Uh, we know that Linds has an uncle that lives in NYC but I don't think we've heard about any other people in her family. I would want to meet a sibling of hers. Don't know why would meet them, but I would like to.

Yay! Only a few more weeks to the premiere! I cannot wait!

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Where did you find out about Lindsay's character having an uncle who lives in NYC? Was it in one of the eps?
I do like your idea of meeting one of her siblings. A protective older brother perhaps (look out Danny)?

I'm also sorry about your friend Allie . We will most definately keep up on the D/L love for you. *hands her a large bag of m&m's* Here, have some comfort food to tide you over.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Don't quote me on this one, but at the beginning of the season when Lindsay came into the picture, didn't she say she was staying with a uncle while she was on assignment?

I could be wrong about her staying with a uncle but I thought I heard that she said that.

I do like the idea of LIndsay haveing a brother, a protective brother that would protect Lindsay. But I also would love to have Lindsay have a sister too.

And I am all for the idea that the writers should make Lindsay (Monroe) be related to Catherine Willows, since she's also from Montana.

Wouldn't that be interesting?

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

In "Zoo York", Lindsay mentioned that she was staying with her uncle in Tarrytown until she found a place.

I want to find about Lindsay's parents. I think she has problems with one or both of them.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Yeah, finding out about Lindsay's parents would be a great story for her. The conversation she had with the father of the murdered girl and the new spoilers about the mother situation led me to believe that she didn't have the greatest relationship with either parent.

And I do think it would be pretty awesome if Lindsay knew Catherine before they both moved away. I think it would be cool if they saw each other after a long time during a LV/NY crossover. I think that the writers need to write a crossover for those two shows!

Re: Danny/Lindsay #11- "Don't Bet Against the Country Girl!"

Hiya Smiliee, Vex, Piz! **waves!**

That's right she does have an uncle she stayed with, I forgot about that...good job y'all! :D And yeah I think it would be fun to see a protective older brother come on the scene...I'd love to see how she introduces to him to Danny and how that conversation between the two guys would go.
Can you just imagine that scene...:

Linds introduces her brother to Danny and then, oh and then Mac calls her and needs her to come look at something in another room for a sec...and so Danny is left with brother who is staring him down...and finally brother goes, "So you're him huh?" And Danny smiles briefly and trying to lighten the mood says, "Depends on which him you're talking about!"
Brother doesn't laugh and stares at him for a second long and then says "If you break her heart,I'll kill you." And then at Danny's look of shock, the brother laughs and claps him on the back and goes, "Relax man, I'm teasing you!" and then he turns to go towards Linds...but then turns back and looks at Danny again and goes, "But seriously man...you hurt her, I'll kill you!"
(Lol, a bit dramatic I realize, but it'd be funny! )

I'd love to see Linds have a sister too though, a younger sister I think...one who would gush about Danny and how hot he was and how lucky Linds was to have him and how "totally obvious it was that he is totally in love with you sis!" Now that'd be fun to see! :D

And Smiliee yeah I think it'd be fun if they did a LV/NY crossover and Cath and Linds knew eachother...I think it'd be hysterical if they made it so Cath was Linds' old babysitter! Cuz Cath's about what 8-10 years older then Linds...so that would fit...and I think that'd be cute to see! And would make for some fun stories too, I'm sure!

28 days y'all...4 weeks from today!! Wohoo!!! :D :D :D

**Moriel dances off to her bubble, to get comfortable and fall asleep to visions of D/L playing Nekkid Twister!!**

I also think that her parents weren't all that receptive of her leaving to NY, but I think that she still keeps in touch with them (since she was looking at those pics on her computer).

Now, I think that there was a picture of Lindsay and some guy who I think is her brother. Now the only question is, if he's older or younger.

Moriel , like you've said: that would be some scene. :D It would be even better if Danny saw them walking down the hallway in a hug, and naturally, he gets jealous and spills out: "So, Montana, who's your friend? You didn't tell me you have someone."
And her brother just reaches out his hand and said: "That would make me Montana jr."

And Allie , I'm very sorry for your friend.
