I've been typing this for a while and trying to keep up with new posts made in the meantime. :lol:
So first of all,
1CSIMfan, maybe we could talk back and forth in a few PMs to decide how to register it.
I'll PM you first, ok?
(The rest of this was written before I read
1CSIMfan's latest post
)
Well, I've never made a board or anything, so I'm sure you've got more experience than me,
anubite.
But if I'm going to be responsible for the forum itself, don't I have to register it?
I don't really mind registering, I just want to make sure we'll all be happy with what name is chosen.
It
is a bit intimidating to be responsible for the content, but I trust the people who post in here not to do bad things.
I'd hate to require people to wait for validation before they can go on the site, but maybe it would be better if I did that. Hell, I could probably make it the rule that people have to contact me via TalkCSI with their name on the new forum so I'll know who's joining before I validate their registration. Yeah, it might be a bit harsh, but I worry about spamming and other useless crap like that. And it's not like I'd say no to somebody if they aren't a regular poster in this thread. I'd just like to keep it from getting out of control, you know?...what do you guys think? And if people want to invite someone in who's not a member of TalkCSI, they could let me know or something...
Gimme feedback here, peeps.
I like Brokeback Crimelab personally.
