Head of the Graveyard Shift
When Nat arrived at the doctors office, she was told to have a seat.
As she looked around, she noticed several mothers were pregnant. As she thought about it, she said....
"Oh no. No way, not again."
"Mrs.Messer, the doctor will see you now."
Getting up off the chair, Nat slowly moved towards the office.
"Just have a seat the doctor will be in shorlty."
"Thanks."
While looking at the magazine, Nat thought to herself that she wasn't ready for another baby. I mean come on, Lindsey was only four months, which meant when this one was born, she'd be a little over a year.
"Good morning you must be Natalia, how are you today?"
"Umm... who are you? Where is Dr.Small?
"He had to make a delivery at the Hospital, I'm his stand in."
Natalia didn't like this. She prefered her own physcian.
I think I might be pregnant again."
"Oh..okay than, how about you head into the washroom, and leave a urine sample, then come back in here and get into a gown."
"Umm, sure."
Once she had peed into the cup, and changed, she hopped up on the table.
"Okay, lay back and relax."
As she laid back, he told her to put her legs in the stir ups.
"Umm..shouldn't a nurse be in here for this part of the exam?"
"Of course, she's right here."
Seeing the nurse come in made Nat a little more comfortable.
As the doctor began the exam, the nurse was called out of the room. For the patient in the next room had vomited everywhere. While he continued his exam, Natalia knew something didn't feel right. Where he was touching, he shouldn't be, as there was no reason for it.
Pulling her legs out of the stir ups, she crunched up.
"Okay, all done. You can get dressed, I'll check on that urine sample."
When the doctor left the room, Natalia couldn't help but cry. For he had touched her in a spot he had no right being near. Getting dressed quickly, she opened the door, and waited in the waiting room.
"Nat...Nat, you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."
"I'm fine, just give me Lindsey."
As Anya passed over Lindsey, Natalia held her tightly.
"Mrs.Messer, you may go. Your test came back negative for pregnancy. If you don't start your cycle within the next two weeks, please call for another appointment."
Running from the office, Nat could still feel the moistness, and it was freaking her out.
"Nat...slow down, what the hell happened in there?"
"Nothing, okay. I just want to go home. I need a shower, I'll call you tonight."
As Natalia drove away, Anya wondered what the hell had happened in that office.

Nat's intuition rubbed off on me. I knew as soon as she felt uncomfortable upon seeing that new doc that something was going to happen. That's a very realistic fear that a lot of women have about going to this kind of doctor. Poor Nat.

Picking up her cell phone she called Danny.
"Messer."
"Danny, it's Anya."
"Anya? What's the matter, is it Natalia?"
"Yes, something happened with her doctors appointment, but she wouldn't tell me, she's all upset."
"Okay Anya, I'll go check on her."
"Danny, is everything okay?"
"I don't know Mac, I need to go home. Can you stay and help Eric?"
"Of course. Give me a call Danny, if you need me."
"I will Mac."
When Danny arrived at home, he heard Lindsey crying in her crib. He knew Lindsey never cried like that, for as soon as she started, she knew she got picked up and cooed.
Picking up his daughter, he dried her tears, and kissed her pretty rosebud lips.
"Shh!!! It's okay love, daddy's here. Now where is mommy?"
Hearing the sound of the shower, Danny opened the drape with Lindsey, and found Natalia scrunched up in a corner of the shower. As Danny went to touch her, she freaked.
"DON'T TOUCH ME. GET AWAY FROM ME, GET OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!!!"
Her screams scared Lindsey, and she started screaming too.
"Shhh!!! come on Lindsey, it's okay. Shhh!!!."
"Natalia, stop that screaming. Nat!!!"
Still yelling get out, Danny had no choice but to slap her, to get her to calm down.
"I'm sorry Nat, so sorry."
Putting her head between her knees, she softly cried.
"Now. I'm going to get Lindsey settled down, then I will be back and we'll talk understand Nat?"
Still not saying anything, Danny left the room with Lindsey.
Meanwhile Anya arrived back home.
"Mommy, I missed you?"
"I missed you too, my Sweet Caroline."
Scrunching up her shoulders, she giggled.
"Hi sweetheart, how's Nat?"
"I'm not sure Michael, where's MJ?"
"He went over to David's place."
"Oh, okay. Something happened in that office, but I don't know what. Nat came out all upset, and took off with Lindsey in tears."
"Up mommy, pease."
Lifting Caroline in her arms, she kissed he.
"Hmm. Did you call Danny?"
"I did. He said he was on his way hme to check on her."
"I'm sure Danny will call when he finds out."
"I hope so, I'm telling you Michael, she bordered on terrified."

Once Danny had Lindsey settled and sound asleep. He headed back into the bedroom, where he found Natalia curled in a ball, in her houscoat.
"Nat...Nat, answer me sweetheart. What happened?"
Shaking violently, she just continued to sob.
"NAT!!!"
Pulling her up so she faced him, he asked her again what happend.
"I want to know Nat, what the hell happened in that office?"
Whispering in the barest of words....
"He....he touched me. He touched me were only a husband should touch. He made me, he made...."
Danny knew what was coming. He knew the word she was trying to get out.
"Dr.Small? Come on Nat, you've had him for years."
"Dr.Small wasn't available today, so I had to see his student. When he had me up on the exam table, and my legs in the stir ups, the nurse had to leave the room. Then he....oh God Danny, I can't even say it, he forced me to have a...God I felt so dirty," she cried.
"Are you telling me he sexually assulted you with his hands?"
"YES...okay, YES. Oh God Danny, how can you ever touch me again."
Danny's patients were on the edge, he was ready to kill someone.
Sitting on the bed, he reached for his wife, as she pulled away.
"Why did you bathe Nat? You washed anything he left behind away."
"I'm sorry, I couldn't think. I was terrified, I could feel the aftermath of my...."
Getting up off the bed, Danny stormed to the door, and as he opened it Flack was standing there with Mac and Eric.
"Whoa...where do you think you're going Messer?"
"Get the hell out of my way, before I do something you'll regret."
Pushing Danny up against the wall, Mac held him with force.
"You are not moving from here, till you tell us what the hell went on?"
"That bastard intern, assulted my wife, that's what happened. He forced himself upon her, and caused her to, to...."
Mac and the team knew right away, the word Danny couldn't say.
"Okay, Eric, you and Flack stay here, collect Nat's clothes, everything, including her panties, towels, and anything else she had on her. Then get it to the lab."
"What are you going to do Mac?"
"Danny and I are going to see a certain intern, and Danny is going to remain calm and behave."
Giving Mac that look, "we shall see," they left.
While Eric and Flack bagged and tagged the clothes, towels, shoes, and everything else she had worn, Eric asked...
"Nat, do you want me to call Anya?"
Not saying anything, Flack called her anyway, while Eric did the fingernail scrapings.
"Excuse me. I'm the SART nurse, Det.Taylor sent over."
"Sure come on in. We need everything, all samples. I've already collected the DNA from her fingernails and outer areas. The rest is up to you."
"Thank you. Now if you could both leave the room please."
As Eric and Flack left the room. Anya showed up.
"How is she?"
"Not good, SART is with her, we are waiting on the rape kit."
"Bloody bastard, I should have known. Just how many other women has he done this too?"
"That's what Mac and Danny have gone to find out."
"Danny? You sent Danny. Are you nuts, he'll kill him."
"No he won't, he wont get near him, Mac knows how to keep Danny level headed. Don't worry Anya. All will be fine.
"Excuse me Lt.Delko, I have the kit ready for you."
"Thanks, let's get this stuff back to the lab. Anya, you stay with Nat."
"I will Eric."

I knew Danny would be peeved. Good thing the guys stopped him. Glad Anya's with Nat. Poor girl. Good chapter. Looking forward to the next chapter.

When Danny and Mac arrived at the Hospital, they seen Dr.Small.
"Dr.Small!!!! Yelled Danny running down the hall.
"Danny? What's the matter?"
"What's the matter, I'll tell you what's the matter. Your God damn intern molested my wife today."
"I'm sorry? What are you talking about, that intern is mo son. No one has ever had a problem with him."
"Listen, I'm Det.Taylor, can you tell us where he is right now?"
"Of course. He's with Mrs.Donavin in room 2."
As they all rushed into the room, they found Kyle with his ungloved hand examing a females cavity.
"KYLE!!!!"
Not waiting for him to turn around, Danny grabbed him and threw him against the wall, causing him to bust his nose on the table.
"Danny....back off now."
Picking Danny up by the scruff of his shirt, Mac tossed him aside.
"Kyle Small, you have the right to remain silent. If you give up the right, anything you say can, and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an Attorney. If you cannot afford an Attorney, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand these rights, as I have read them to you?"
"Yes..." he snarled, as he bled from his nose.
"Dr.Small, get him fixed up and then he's coming with us."
As Danny got up, he moved himself towards the young lady crunched up on the bed.
"Shhh!!!! You're okay now. It's alright. Is there anyone I can call for you?"
"My husband she cried. Here's his number."
"Danny, you stay with the young girl, I'm going with Dr.Small and Kyle, I'll send in the SART nurse, we should get some DNA from her."
"Will I have to testify in Court?"
"You will. But you won't be the only one. My wife will be too. Plus once this gets into the Media, I'm sure others will come forward."
"I feel so ashamed."
"You have nothing to feel ashamed about. Here's the nurse, I'll wait outside the door."
Once Danny left, he could hear the young girl sobbing through the door.
When Mac returned with Kyle, Danny gave him the most vicious look.
"God damn Psychopath. As if it isn't hard enough to get a woman to trust a male doctor, you have to go and do something like this."
Not saying anything, Mac lead him to the cruiser, put him in the back, and had Rosewood take him to booking.
"Dr.Small!!!! Yelled Danny running down the hall.
