7.17 "Do Or Die":

~ The episode starts in a prep school on the Upper East Side called Bradford Academy. The principal is leading prospective students (and parents) through the halls, discussing the school's academics and extracurricular activities. Kids who go to Bradford are aiming for Ivy League schools.

~ The group is shocked when a young woman staggers toward them with blood running down her face and neck. She collapses onto the ground, dead.

~ The victim is Michelle Prescott, the most popular girl in school. She was incredibly smart and talented - this is a girl who was going places. She was attacked in the girls' bathroom, and her head was slammed against the sink.

~ During the investigation, the team discovers that one of the students (Ben) has been making pornographic videos in the library. They confront him, but he swears that all of the girls in the video are 18 and signed consent forms. When they suggest that Michelle found out what Ben was doing and threatened to tell on him (and that he might have killed her to keep her quiet), he insists that Michelle didn't want to shut his little business down: she wanted to be in one of the videos.

~ I see everyone's name mentioned. It doesn't seem to be a character-centric episode. :)

~ Danny and Lindsay have a moment, but I can't really be more specific than that. It's just the two of them in the library, and I think maybe they're recreating/demonstrating something. It's when they discover that Ben has been having sex in the library, so I think (keep in mind this is just my theory) maybe they find evidence and recreate the situation of how the evidence got there (which might look intimate?) - Sorry if that all sounds confusing. There's not much to go on, but I thought I'd mention it for those who are interested. I can't guarantee that my theory is correct, though, so don't hold me to it. :p

~ Lucy is also mentioned. After Danny and Lindsay figure out someone has been having sex in the library (and wonder if it might have been a teacher with a student), Lindsay suggests that maybe Lucy should be home schooled. ;)

Thanks, Fay!

Playing catchup here. ;)

Sarah posted this interview from E! Online that features plenty of D/L "scoop."

Details on Ne-Yo's episode, thanks to perlnoir:

CSI scoop, please! – Char
When Ne-Yo makes his television debut on CSI: NY on Feb. 11 as a smooth-talking hit man (in an episode that finds him taking Spartacus: Blood and Sand‘s Lesley-Ann Brandt as his hostage), look for the door to be left cracked open for a possible return to the show, which the singer tells me he’d gladly make happen. And for an exclusive first look his appearance, pick up next week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly.

Exclusive: Life Unexpected Alum Lands CSI: NY Gig

austinbutler.jpg

Proving that there is life after LUX, a Life Unexpected fan fave has booked a new gig, and it’s a far cry from the guy (or gal) we knew back in Portland…

Austin Butler, Lux’s adorable onetime beau, Jones, will pop up in an episode of CSI: NY this March as, what else, a good looking and confident kid. His character Benjamin attends a top-notch prep school in Manhattan who becomes a murder suspect when one of his classmates is killed. And wouldn’t you know it, the CSI team is on the case.

And LUX fans rejoice, because TVLine has learned that Jones will definitely be a part of the CW series’ season finale this Tuesday at 8pm, so don’t miss it.

Spoilers for episode 718, courtesy of Fay! :)

7.18 (Untitled for now):

~ The episode opens with an old man getting onto the subway. Jo's daughter Ellie is there, and she offers the man her seat. A drunk guy comes over and gets into an argument with the old man, and he forces the man to get off at the next stop. They get into a full-blown fight on the platform, and the drunk guy shoots the old man and runs off.

~ It turns out the old man is actually a young woman in disguise. She used this ruse as part of a series of scams. Some people lost pocket money, others lost thousands.

~ The victim's husband is upset to find out she is dead. He says he dropped her off at JFK to travel to Miami for work. She wasn't even supposed to be in the city, how could she be dead? When the team runs the information the husband gives them, they discover that even her identity is a lie. The woman whose name she is using died 12 years ago.

~ In addition to witnessing a murder, Ellie drops a bombshell on Jo: she wants to meet her biological mother. Jo's 19-year-old son Tyler accidentally revealed to Ellie that her biological mom is in jail - Jo hadn't told her yet.

~ Jo's ex-husband Russ is back, and we get to meet Tyler for the first time. They come to the lab, and Tyler apologizes for telling Ellie about her biological mom - he thought she already knew. Jo doesn't blame him, though. She should have told Ellie the truth sooner.

7.19 spoilers courtesy of Faylinn:

7.19 "Food For Thought":

~ The episode opens at a mobile food festival in SoHo - gourmet food trucks line both sides of the street, and Hawkes is there with Camille (the nurse from 7.14). They order food from a truck called World on Wheels, and they head off down the street. Hawkes refuses to try food that came off a truck, but Camille tricks him into trying one of her fries by kissing him and putting the fry in his mouth while he's caught off-guard. He's pleasantly surprised to find that the food is really good. ;)

~ They aren't far away when suddenly the World on Wheels truck explodes, killing the man inside (Derby).

~ There's a man (Odelin Gonzales) who has filed numerous complaints against Derby during the past year. He has a hot dog cart, and he follows all of the rules and procedures to sell food legally - but Derby keeps parking his truck on the curb and stealing all of Odelin's business illegally. When Flack and Jo confront him about his problems with Derby, Odelin swears he'd never kill anyone - he's a religious man, and he believes in following the rules. Besides, he has an alibi: he was working at a soup kitchen when the truck exploded.

~ The team also discovers that a chef named Langley had a beef with Derby and got into a fight with him the night he died. Derby used to work for Langley, but he was fired after Langley found out he was working on a food truck in his spare time - and he was using Langley's recipes. Derby sued him for wrongful termination.

~ Meanwhile, it looks like something is up with Hawkes. At one point in the episode, Danny tells Hawkes that they all have to take drug tests - he doesn't know why, but he's just following orders. Hawkes seems nervous about something. (Sorry, I don't know anything more than that. :()

7.20 spoilers from Fay:

7.20 "Nothing For Something":

~ The episode opens on a dried pool of blood in the park. Then time goes backwards, revealing that the blood came from a beautiful young woman named Patricia. She was dumped in the park by a man named Charles. He transported her body in the trunk of his car, wrapped in a comforter. Before that, he murdered her in a penthouse apartment after they had sex. He stabbed and strangled her. Time keeps going backwards, revealing that they met in a bar. Charles walked in and offered to buy Patricia a drink, and things went from there.

~ It looks like Charles had another victim as well.

~ There's a third woman who is missing, but the team doesn't know if she's dead. She was leaving her husband, and she stayed with Charles - they can't tell if he killed her or if, for some reason, he spared her despite his love for killing.

~ Random note: apparently Jo is afraid of heights. ;)

7.21 spoilers!

7.21 - "Life Sentence"

~ Mac and Danny are being investigated by Internal Affairs. The two of them knocked on the door of a suspect who attacked the crime lab earlier in the morning. After no response from the suspect, both of them knocked down the door. The suspect opened fire, resulting in Mac and Danny returning fire.

~ Internal Affairs Detective Angela Sayer questions Mac and Danny at the scene of the shootout. They explain to her that they both emptied a clip on the suspect. Sayer takes their weapons.

~That's all I know for now. Everyone is mentioned, except for Adam and Sid. Doesn't mean they're not in the episode, though. :)

Thanks to Micha for the episode title!

vegaslights:

7.22 - "Exit Strategy"

Not much info, but here's what I know so far:

~ Mac revisits a case from November 11, 2002. The crime took place at a corner bodega. Two men (Wes and Kenny) are in the middle of committing a burglary. Kenny points a gun at the store owner, demanding all of the money from the register. The owner pulls out a gun and the two engage in a standoff. Unexpectedly, a stockboy walks in and Kenny shoots both the stockboy and the owner. Kenny also gets shot in the shoulder.

~ Wes freaks out and the two leave the bodies behind.

~ A little girl witnessed the murders and has since gone missing. In present time, Mac interviews Kenny trying to find the little girl (Olivia). Olivia is found alive, but things aren't over yet. Olivia points a gun at Mac's head and...

That's where things get a bit too spoilery. :p I do see a Danny/Flack scene, a few Mac/Jo scenes, but nothing on Hawkes, Lindsay or anyone else.

Season 8 spoilers are in!

8.01 - "Indelible"

Here's what we know so far...

~ For those in doubt, everyone is back. That includes Mac, Jo, Lindsay, Danny, Flack, Hawkes, Adam and Sid.

~ Can't figure out the case details too much but it seems an attempted robbery at a bar turns fatal.

~ The episode features scenes that brings viewers to Mac's past. Mac meets up with a fire chief who also lost someone on 9/11. It appears Mac now works at a lab that tests DNA from 9/11. If you remember the ending of "Blink" this episode kind of goes there at the end.

~ It appears there's a new recurring character named Hannah.

~ The team is minus one during the investigation: Mac. It's unclear whether he joins back in this episode or not, but at the end of the investigation Jo, Danny, Lindsay (who shares a kiss with Danny), and Adam are the only ones working together.

Bringing the other posts over...

Courtesy of Faylinn:

~ Danny is referred to as Sgt Messer, so he definitely took the promotion - not sure how that will work out with his team interaction, but he's working the case with them in the premiere, so I don't think we'll be seeing any less of him. (Fingers crossed!)

~ It appears that several months have passed since the finale.

~ The team plans to attend a ceremony for a project Mac has been working on for the past few months - the project relates to 9/11 victims.

Some other info courtesy of moi:

~ An open-and-shut robbery/homicide proves more complicated than anyone had anticipated.

~ Claire is in the episode, shown in flashbacks.

~ Hannah is a potentially recurring character. She's a forensics technician who is book brilliant but a bit lacking in social skills.

~ The episode was written by Zachary Reiter and John Dove and will be directed by Frederick E.O. Toye.

~ The episode starts off with a flashback to September 11th. It's 7:30 in the morning and Mac is in the bathroom shaving. He nicks his face and blood drops down. Claire teases him by pretending to call 911 and making fun of the fact that he's listening to N'Sync. It then comes back to the present with Mac standing in front of the mirror with his American flag pin and the TV talking about the tenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

8.02 spoilers courtesy of Faylinn!

8.02 "Keep It Real":

~ A young man named Michael winds up dead on the floor of his apartment, and his girlfriend Miranda is distraught. She was there when he was shot, but she didn't see the killer, and Michael wasn't able to tell her who it was before he died.

~ Michael and Miranda have only known each other for a few weeks. They met at the vintage music store where she works. Michael and his roommate Josh were arguing over music, and Miranda joined the conversation. She and Michael hit it off immediately. She admired a vintage guitar hanging nearby, which had a $1500 price tag. She couldn't afford it, but Michael pulled the money together to get it for her.

Now for some non-case related things of interest!

~ Mac is back in the lab! That didn't take long.

~ Danny and Lindsay have at least one personal scene, and we see how they're adjusting to Danny's promotion.

~ Jo's son Tyler is back! I don't see much, but I know he and his mom discuss his new roommate.

I have some catching up to do!

CSI: NY Exclusive: Smallville's Cassidy Freeman Cops Role in Premiere

CSI: NY has supe’d up its already sure-to-be-thrilling Season 8 premiere by casting Smallville alum Cassidy Freeman in a guest-starring role.

In the CBS crime drama’s season opener, airing Friday, Sept. 23, Freeman will play a bartender whose male co-worker is killed in a robbery gone bad.

Just as Smallville wrapped its 10-season run, Freeman landed a role on the A&E pilot Longmire, which is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by Craig Johnson and revolves around a dry-witted Wyoming sheriff (played by Matrix actor Robert Taylor). Freeman plays Longmire’s daughter, while Battlestar alum Katee Sackhoff is Vic, one of his deputies.

~ CSI Files posted this interview with A.J. Buckley. He mentions in the interview --

- The premiere deals with 9/11, and every character has great moments. It's a special, emotional episode.

- The premiere sort of brings it "full circle" back to season 1.

- The show has only been picked up for 18 episodes, and they will be finished filming by February 6th.

- He didn't know anything about the potentially-recurring lab tech Hannah.

- Since season eight might be the final season, AJ thinks "it's gonna ramp up everything and push the envelope a little more because we can."

~ Faylinn posted these spoilers regarding episode two, "Keep It Real":

~ CSI: NY Recruits General Hospital Alum to Play Mac's Wife

After seven seasons of CSI: NY, viewers will finally meet Mrs. Mac Taylor.

Check out photos of the CSI: NY cast

Former General Hospital and Eastwick star Jaime Ray Newman has been tapped to play Claire Taylor, the wife Mac (Gary Sinise) lost during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. As we previously reported, Claire will appear in flashbacks during the show's Season 8 premiere, which honors the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

"We're taking all of our characters back to that day," executive producer Pam Veasey tells us. "You get to see them together. You see why Claire loved Mac, and why Mac loved her."

Veasey also hinted that Mac's moments of reflection may offer him some inspiration to look for love again. "We've had a few women in the past pursue Mac," she says. "We like the idea of maybe seeing Mac being the pursuer."

Get more of today's latest news

Newman, best known for her work as Kristina Cassadine on General Hospital and the bewitching Kat Gardener on ABC's short-lived Eastwick. She has also had recurring roles on such shows as Veronica Mars, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, and, most recently, Drop Dead Diva.

CSI: NY returns Friday, Sept. 23 at 9/8c on CBS.

~ 'Hellcats' star to appear on 'CSI: NY' in episode two.

Aly Michalka — best known for her starring role in the CW’s short-lived cheer drama Hellcats -- has snagged a guest role on CSI: NY next fall. The young actress will play a hard rocker named Miranda in the series, which returns to CBS on Sept. 23.

Here’s the description: She’s a rocker who “explodes onto the stage of New York’s hottest underground clubs.” (Yep, Michalka sings!) Her character is questioned by the CSI team when the guy she’s been dating is found murdered.

Her episode will air Sept. 30. Michalka’s credits also include Easy A and the TV series Phil of the Future.

~ 8.03 is titled "Cavallino Rampante"

~ Mac is definitely back at the NYPD.

~ A family business of stealing cars takes a bad turn, leaving one of the family members possibly dead.

~ We'll get to see quite a bit of how Danny's adjusting to being a sergeant in this episode. He's briefing fellow officers -- the briefing on the Auto Crime Division kind of ties in with the case that Mac, Jo, Flack, etc. investigate.

~ Not really much else is available to share about the episode. I don't see any mentions of Hawkes or Sid, but that doesn't mean they're not in the episode.

~ Perfect Anomaly posted this tidbit from TVLine:

CSI: NY | As has been reported, CBS’ Big Apple-based crime drama will opens its season with Mac reflecting on the 10-year anniversary of his wife perishing in the 9/11 attacks. But if it’s a highly charged, emotional hour, know that it’s for a good purpose. At the end of the Sept. 23 premiere, which will feature flashbacks to a blissfully wed, smiling Mac, “You’ll feel — you’ll know — that he derives a certain amount of closure, including from a special act that he makes at the end of that day,” exec producer Zack Reiter says. “I hope we are able to convey that he’s able to move on in many ways… and hopefully in a way that allows him to open up and have a relationship that is more meaningful than maybe some of the past ones he has had.” Paging Madchen Amick? Claire Forlani?

~ perlnoire posted this link to EW.com in which they interview Sela Ward about the premiere.

~ perlnoire also posted these pictures from episode two of the season.

~ E!Online posted some spoilers this week in regards to Danny and Lindsay's future:

@Daniellegirli: Anything on CSI: New York's Danny and Lindsay?
We had a feeling you'd want some Danny-Lindsay scoop so we tracked down CSI: New York executive producer Pam Veasey and she told us that Danny's (Carmine Giovinazzo) new promotion makes things a challenge for the married detectives: "They are like ships passing in the night. They have to deal with that and wonder what [the promotion] is worth and then Danny will make a decision about it." Does that mean he'll be returning to the crime lab soon? She says: "It's awhile, it takes awhile. But they do have to talk about it."

KellGreen1: Are we going to see Lucy Messer this season on CSI: New York?
Survey says: Yes! Executive producer Pam Veasey tells us we'll see the littlest Messer again: "But she won't be 19 or anything. She'll be her true age. We won't advance her forward and be like. '[Speaks in adult voice] Hi, Mom.'"

~ Perfect Anomaly brought over this link from TVLine, which mentions some casting news for episode three.

CSI:NY Exclusive: True Blood Babe Steals Criminally Cool Guest Spot

Vampire incest is so yesterday. Courtney Ford‘s new gig is more Fast & Furious-flavored.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Ford will guest star on CSI: NY this fall as Nicole, a gorgeous car thief with a very specific set of standards: she only steals autos worth at least a quarter million bucks. She’ll appear in this season’s third episode.

Ford — arguably best known for playing the Trinity Killer’s scheming daughter Christine on Season 4 of Dexter — currently recurs on HBO’s True Blood as Portia Bellefleur, Bill’s ewww-inducing lover-turned-great-great-great-great granddaughter.

CSI: NY‘s seventh season premieres Friday, Sept. 23 at 9/8c.

~ TV Guide reports that Jeananne Goossen will be in two episodes of the new season. Here's a little snippet, thanks to Faylinn:

...a two episode arc on CSI: NY as Officer Lauren Cooper, described to me as a young rookie police officer who'll work with Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo). While Lauren will initially be a source of annoyance to Danny, she'll win him over in no time. Good thing, because she doesn't have a lot of time as she's only slated to appear in episodes three and four of the new season.

~ Episode 8.04 is titled "Officer Involved":

~ "Officer Involved" starts things off immediately with Danny waking up on a NYC street next to a dead body. He has blood on his hand and his ankle holster is empty: the gun's missing. Two officers in civilian clothing (Terrence Foley and George Cates) run up to Danny and it appears they're also injured. As Danny starts to stand up with the officers' assistance, he notices Officer Cooper (from episode 8.03) to his side, with his weapon, and claiming to have shot in the guy on the ground in self-defense.

~ Adam is out in the field processing the scene.

~ There's a D/L scene where Lindsay wants to take Danny out to dinner, but he doesn't quite feel up to it. She pushes the issue...

~ ... and here's a brief plot description for episode 8.04, thanks to Messers_fan:

Episode 8.04 of CSI: New York will be called "Officer Involved" which revolves around Danny being investigated by Internal Affairs.

August 11? Damn. Here we go!

~ Faylinn posted more details for episode 8.04

8.04 "Officer Involved":

~ The episode seems to pick up where episode 8.03 left off. Danny wakes up on the ground and looks around, seeing a dead body and feeling blood on his head. He notices that his ankle holster is empty, and Officer Lauren Cooper is holding his gun nearby. Two of Danny's other rookies, Officer Cates and Officer Foley, tell him what happened: a couple of guys started a fight, and they hit Danny over the head with a bottle. One of the guys pulled a gun and shot at Lauren, and she took Danny's gun and fired back. She killed the man in self-defense.

~ Lindsay comes to the scene and tells Danny she got a babysitter. Danny says she doesn't have to worry about him, but she says she wants to get some dinner together so they can spend a few hours not worrying about what's going to happen.

~ The team finds GSR on the victim's sleeve, but there's no sign of the gun. It looks like Lauren, Cates and Foley are hiding something, and the CSIs need to figure out exactly what happened because Danny was unconscious during the shooting. The search for the gun gets more urgent when it is used to kill someone.

~ Adam works the scene. I see everyone but Sid (although he could still be there, of course). Later in the episode, Lindsay confronts Lauren about whatever she's hiding, pointing out that Danny's career could be ruined.

~ Sarah posted a few snippets from E!Online

Tricia: In the season premiere are we going to see where all the CSI: New York team was on 9/11?
Executive producer Pam Veasey tells us: "We wanted to make it not a memory show but a tribute show, but we wanted to reflect what people will be saying in September. Where was I? For example, Jo Danville (Sela Ward) wasn't in New York City, but we will see her perspective. Jo was in Washington D.C. so her point of view was from the Pentagon and we have people who worked down on the street, [and] people were in buildings

RhyleeS: How is Danny's new job going to affect his and Lindsay's relationship? #csiny
Danny's (Carmine Giovinazzo) going to learn a valuable lesson as Sergeant: Not all teams are as loyal and close knit as our beloved crime lab crew. Luckily Lindsay (Anna Belknap) will have her husband's back when his career is at risk. Awwwww.

~ A casting update from TVLine.com

CSI: NY Scoop: Breaking Bad's Dean Norris Cops Another Lawman Role

It appears that Dean Norris has law enforcement matters to look into other than the lucrative drug dealings of the elusive Heisenberg.

TVLine has learned that Norris, who on Breaking Bad plays incapacitated cop-turned-rock mineral collector Hank Schrader, will guest-star on CSI: NY as an Internal Affairs detective who investigates a shooting that involves one of the CSIs.

The CBS crime drama kicks off its eighth season on Friday, Sept. 23, with Norris appearing in an October episode.

In addition to Breaking Bad, Norris’ TV credits include guest turns on original-flavor CSI, Medium and Tremors.

~ Gary Sinise tweeted this photo during the filming of episode three.

~ Sela Ward also tweeted a photo from the set of episode three.

~ According to Tim Guinee's Twitter feed, he's guest-starring in episode three as well. Here's a photo he posted as well.

~ Hill Harper tweeted a photo that shows Robert Joy and him holding a heart.

~ Perfect Anomaly posted an article from TVLine.com about the season premiere

The CSI: NY Season 8 premiere, as previously reported, will mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks by in large part flashing back to that tragic day, showing viewers how Mac, his ill-fated wife, Claire (played by Eureka‘s Jamie Ray Newman), and others were individually impacted.

TVLine has acquired a first look photo — featuring Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Flack (Eddie Cahill) — from the emotional episode, the idea for which was in large part shepherded by series lead Gary Sinise.

As executive producer Zack Reiter explains, “Gary Sinise came to me and the other writers wanting to do something that revolved around 9/11 — specifically featuring the Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance, a project that Gary had an enormous involvement in.”

Conceived as a memorial to the 416 first responders who died in New York City on 9/11, “Apparently they were about halfway through building it when they ran out of money,” Reiter relates, “and Gary and his Lt. Dan Band were instrumental in helping to raise funds to complete the project.”

Already poised to mark the 10-year anniversary of the terror attacks, and nudged by Sinise with the idea for a specific touchstone, “It all seemed to come together in that moment,” says Reiter.

The CSI: NY season premiere airs Friday, Sept. 23, at 9/8c.

A photo from that article can be found in this post.

~ perlnoir linked to this article which mentions some casting news.

CBS sure likes their New Kids ( …and we don’t blame them).

CSI: NY has booked New Kids on the Block’s Joey McIntyre for a guest spot set to air in October, EW has learned. The singer, whose bandmate Donnie Wahlberg stars on Blue Bloods, will play Ray, a man that ends up in a shooting that involves one of the CSIs.

McIntyre recently wrapped on the NKOTBSB tour, in which his took to the road with the Backstreet Boys, and is also set to appear in an episode of Psych this season.

His CSI: NY episode is scheduled to air Oct. 14.

~ Hill posted a photo of Sela on the set.

~ A photo of Gary, Sela, and Eddie Cahill on set.

~ Tidbits from E! Online, brought to our attention by Perfect Anomaly.

laurzz6: I'd ask about CSI: New York's Danny and Lindsay, but you guys have outdone yourselves!
Why, thank you! But we're not done yet. Tomorrow we are hitting the CSI: NY set and we are taking your questions for Anna Belknap and Carmine Giovinazzo. Leave all your burning New York questions in the comments (or tweet them to @fatherdowling) and send your thank you gift baskets promptly. It's only right.

CrisPOSoares: Please, I want to know if we will see in the premiere of CSI: New York where Lindsay and Adam were in 9/11.
We were wondering the exact same thing, so we asked executive producer Pam Veasey and she tells us: "Lindsay (Anna Belknap) was in Montana so her point of view was all through the television." As for Adam (A.J. Buckley), Veasey says: "Adam was in New York. But you don't see his flashback. We chose just a few people in different places."

~ Micha posted episode titles for episodes 8.05 & 8.06, and Faylinn posted a few details.

CSI: NY 8.05 ''Air Apparent"

STORY LINE: The number one basketball prospect in the country is disgusted when his newly released convict brother is accused of murder just days after his release from prison. But the paroled con may have been artfully framed for the crime.

CSI: NY 8.06 ''Get Me Out of Here!''

STORY LINE: A goofy spooky good time in the cemetery turns terrifying when two teens discover a body of a young man, one not on the docket for burial anytime soon. Ally is Brian's playful and seductive girlfriend, making out with Brian in a graveyard when suddenly she's face to face with a dead man.

8.05 "Air Apparent":

~ The team processes a gruesome crime scene, where a young woman named Angela has been stabbed to death. There's blood everywhere, and the name "Bill" is written on the wall in blood. This seems to point straight to her boyfriend Bill, an ex-convict who was released from prison several weeks ago. The police arrest him while he's at family dinner with his mother and brother Jordy. Bill swears he didn't kill Angela, but there's cocaine in her apartment, and he's got cocaine in his system.

~ Jordy is one of the top high school basketball players in the country, and he's really going places - he doesn't need any distractions when there are college scouts watching his every move on the court. Bill used to be a good basketball player too, before he screwed up his life and ended up in jail. Jordy is devastated because his brother swore he'd clean up his act this time.

~ It looks like Flack's sister Samantha will make an appearance!

~ Overall, I see everyone but Sid and Adam (which doesn't mean they won't be there, of course). It looks like the episode will focus more on Mac and Flack.
Woohoo, I really hope these spoilers pan out and we get to see Sam again!

8.06 - "Get Me Out Of Here!"

~ This is definitely aimed towards being a Halloween episode. Ally and Brian are two teenagers making their way through Marymount Cementary, trying to catch up to one another so they can engage in sexual activities. Brian is finally able to catch up to Ally but she doesn't want to make it appear that he can get with her so easy. She runs off again, laughing, but ends up falling face first into a deep hole in the ground. Fortunately for her, she's not alone! Well, kind of. She's on top of a very very dead body. Gross!

~ Mac, Jo, and Flack are the first ones to arrive at the scene. Hawkes gets the dirty work -- having to jump in the grave and process it.

~ Adam may have been in a fraternity.

~ Adam's also out in the field with Danny.

~ Not much else, but everyone is mentioned.

~ More spoilers from E! Online.

PerfectAnomaly: Is there anything coming up for CSI:NY's Det. Flack?
You might be pleased to hear that the prodigal sister of Detective Flack (Eddie Cahill) will be reappearing in his life. Only time will tell if she's still on the wagon or perhaps face down on the sidewalk. We think it's safe to say that she'll bring some drama to the CSI: New York detective's life because no long lost siblings ever show up just to check-in or grab a drink—er, coffee.

jmorgue: Thanks so much for coverage/spoilers of #CSINY! Anything else we can squeeze out of you? Danny/Lindsay, Flack or ...?
You are very welcome. And we have more! We asked Anna Belknap about her favorite moment in premiere, she told us: "The first episode had a nice scene between Lindsay and Adam, which I thought was really sweet. He has a really touching monologue about where he was on 9/11 and it's…painful."

~ First promotional video for season 8.

~ CSI Files spoiler report for 8.02.

~ Casting news courtesy of TVLine.com for episode 8.05.

Oh. My. God.

I will not get behind any further!

8.07 - "Crushed"

~ The night is just getting started at a well-attended high school 11th grade party. Alcohol is flowing and everyone is having fun. Things don't end well when a girl ends up dead, crushed.

~ The entire CSI team is in the field for this case: Mac, Jo, Danny, Hawkes, Lindsay, Flack, and Sid.

~ Jo and Lindsay have a bit of a tense moment when it appears a test was not done correctly. Jo wants to make sure the guy doesn't get off again, but (it appears) Lindsay's processing of evidence was not impeccable. Lindsay seems a bit taken aback due to Jo's bluntness.

~ Can't tell much case-wise. Flack and Jo have a cute moment. A girl had no idea she was the joke of the party and Flack was going to say it to her, but Jo makes a hand gesture and he stops. Flack wonders if she's getting all mushy on him, but she responds by whacking him with a folder. Adorable.

I'll update with more spoilers later. :)

8.08 - "Crossroads."

~ A NYPD SUV is dropping off a plethora of members involved with a court trial. 14 jurors, uniformed cops, a court officer, a prosecutor and a defense attorney. They're near a bakery when they come into contact with high ranking Supreme Court Judge Vincent Corsica. They're at the location of a crime scene taking notes and photographs. The jurors make their way back to the van when a person on a bicycle pedals on by and shoots at the judge, who is surrounded by protection from a few detectives. Bullets hit the judge and he falls to the ground. Bleeding. Dead.

~ There's not much case-wise that is available right now. Flack and Danny are partnered quite a bit in this episode. Same with Jo and Adam.
