Season finale spoilers! From Faylinn: :D

FINALE SPOILERS!

6.23 "Vacation Getaway"

There doesn't seem to be much, but I'll be back in a few minutes with what I know. :D

ETA: Damn, there really isn't much. They're so evil!
6.23 "Vacation Getaway":

~ Flack catches and arrests Shane Casey right at the beginning of the episode - but don't be fooled! Shane's still got some tricks up his sleeve. He is held at the District Attorney's office (they want to be able to show off that they caught a wanted serial killer), and he attacks the single officer left to guard him, allowing him to escape.

~ Mac and Stella go to the Guggenheim Museum at one point to look at a specific Andy Warhol painting - one that is made of $1 bills. They go based on a series of clues that Shane leaves for them to follow...

~ That's all I know for now. I see Mac, Stella, Flack and Hawkes - no sign of the others.
But I want to know what haaaappens! *whine*

First season seven spoilers, courtesy of Fay:

7.01 "The 34th Floor":
~ It has been at least three months since the finale.

~ There is no mention of Stella in the spoilers, but I'm sure they'll explain everything in the episode itself. :)

~ Lindsay shot Shane - she is in her last session of department mandated therapy in the premiere. She also received a medal for her actions. The therapist, Dr Johnson, wants her to open up during their last session together because she is concerned about Lindsay, but Lindsay refuses to cry or do whatever else she thinks Dr Johnson expects from her. She loses her temper a bit when Dr Johnson says she wants Lindsay to keep coming to therapy, and she points out that Lindsay is more angry now. Dr Johnson also says that she really knows nothing about Lindsay despite spending three months in sessions together. Lindsay leaves when the session is over, throwing the medal in the trash.

~ It looks like Sela Ward's character is named Jo. She teases Adam at one point and has a bit of (what appears to be) friendly rivalry with Mac later on, when they both want to prove something about the investigation. (I say 'appears to be' because I can't tell for sure - but I don't think there's any animosity between them. :))

~ The case itself involves a dead intern found in an architectural firm on the 34th floor of the building - just one floor below the crime lab. The intern's boss was also attacked on the street less than an hour later, but he survived. He says he didn't know his attacker and that the attack was probably unrelated. He's convinced that it was just a mugging gone wrong.

~ Adam seems certain that his days are numbered at the lab - Lindsay comes to see him about some evidence, and he tells her she might want to stay clear of him so she isn't guilty by association. I believe Jo teased him about having some sort of 'file' on him, and he's worried that it's true. :p

~ I see everybody present except for Sid and (obviously) Stella. That doesn't mean he (or she) definitely won't be in the premiere, but I thought I'd point it out.

~ I saw nothing between Danny and Lindsay, but I'm sure there will be some sort of scene after the therapy session. :)

Is it September 24th yet? :p

More spoilers for the season seven premiere from Fay!

Ooh, here's a bit more info about the premiere. As always, spoilers are rumors and are subject to change, yadda yadda :D:
~ The episode starts the night Shane was in the Messer apartment. I'm not sure if they'll show the shooting itself (it is very possible that they will). I do know that Shane is wheeled out in a body bag while Lindsay is sitting in the back of an ambulance. Danny is comforting Lucy. Mac makes his way through the crowd of cops, comes up to Lindsay and hugs her without saying anything.

~ We then skip forward five months to a press conference where Lindsay (in her dress blues) is receiving her medal from the Chief of Department (James Sheehan). Mac is standing with them, and Danny, Flack, Sid, Hawkes and Adam are in the crowd. Danny smiles at Lindsay, and she smiles back. Sheehan gives the Combat Cross to Mac, who puts it around Lindsay's neck. Mac is proud, and Lindsay smiles, but she seems troubled.

~ For those who might be curious, Lindsay is called 'Lindsay Monroe Messer' during the ceremony.

~ Sela Ward's character is named Josephine (Jo) Danville. She is described as being in her mid-40s and elegant (and stunning, of course ;)). We first see her when she's heading down the sidewalk, trying to hail a cab so she can get to the crime lab. A guy comes up to her and tries to hit on her, but she's not having any of it.

Spoilers for episode 704 from Fay! :)

Not much info now, but here's what I have:

7.04 "Sangre Por Sangre":
~ The episode seems to take place in Spanish Harlem.

~ There's a dead gang member (Torres), and Mac goes to speak to another member of that gang to hopefully prevent some sort of gang war. The man agrees not to retaliate (at least not for 24 hours), but he isn't doing it for Mac - he wants to avoid more bloodshed in his neighborhood.

~ Flack goes to pick up a prostitute (Hazel) who is somehow connected to the murder. He finds her with a .45 - the same caliber as the weapon that shot Torres. She says she has the gun for protection. As Flack is driving, he notices someone come up beside the car. The man pulls out a sawed-off shotgun and shoots out the back window, injuring Hazel but not killing her.

~ Jo goes to the hospital to see Hazel and sees that the security guard next to her room is gone - and so is Hazel. Jo follows a trail of blood (from where Hazel ripped out the IV) and finds Hazel holding the security guard at gunpoint (with the guard's gun). Hazel says she has to get out or they'll kill her - she has a gunshot in her arm to prove that they mean business. Jo wants to help Hazel, and she can't do it if Hazel makes this mistake. Hazel says she didn't kill Torres - she just went there to do her job, and then he was shot. She's obviously upset about something, but she won't give Jo any more information. People where she's from survive if they keep their mouths shut.

Spoilers are coming fast and furious! 702 spoilers, courtesy of Fay:

Anywho, 702 looks like a pretty big Adam episode! :D

7.02 "Unfriendly Chat":
~ Adam is visiting a video chat website at work. He minimizes the page when Mac walks by, but as soon as the coast is clear, he brings the chat window back up. There's a sexy woman on the screen, and there's also music playing. Adam asks the woman her name, but he doesn't get an answer - instead, he watches in horror as the woman is strangled with the cord from her headphones.

~ They're able to trace the woman's IP address and find her apartment. In addition to her body, they find some stolen electronic equipment (iPads, a laptop, etc - the headphones that were used to kill her were also stolen).

~ Mac and Jo both give the video chat website a try. Mac's first chat buddy is a guy smoking some weed - he quickly closes the chat when he gets a look at Mac's expression. :p The second person Mac talks to is a kid doing his homework. Mac answers a science question for the kid before telling him to get off the computer and go finish his homework. (Aww! *smish* :adore:) Jo ends up talking to a US Army soldier. They chat a bit about his time in Afghanistan, and then Jo lets him look out at the view of the New York skyline. :)

~ There's a major confrontation between Adam and the killer. It looks like the stolen laptop in the victim's apartment has some dangerous information on it, and the killer is able to track Adam down. Adam's life is definitely on the line...

703 spoilers from Fay!

Yeah, I guess they're filming out of order. Whatever works!

7.03 "Damned if You Do":

~ Nelson and Louise Travers have been brutally beaten while asleep in their bed. Nelson is dead, but Louise is clinging to life as she struggles to reach the phone and call 911. Mac is nearby when the call goes out, so he gets to the scene as the paramedics are working on Louise. This might be his only chance to speak to her if she doesn't make it. He picks up a photo from the nightstand of Louise and Nelson with their son Billy and asks if her son is the person who did this. She gestures with her hand. Yes, he was.

~ Meanwhile, Billy is at a party with his girlfriend. He's surprised when the police bust in to arrest him - and he's shocked when they accuse him of his father's murder and the attempted murder of his mother. He and his girlfriend deny that he would ever kill his parents, but unfortunately he doesn't have a solid alibi to prove his innocence.

~ The team ends up with several conflicting stories and suspects, and they have to unravel the truth to figure out who would come into the Travers' house and attack them in such a vicious way.

~ Sid gets a scene with Jo - it looks like it might be his first scene with her.

~ Also, Adam has what appears to be a hilarious scene pretending to perform a polygraph test. Oh, Adam. :adore:

~ Everybody is mentioned, BTW.

706 spoilers, courtesy of Fay! :)

7.06 "Do Not Pass Go":
~ The episode starts with an older couple in an abandoned building. They seem to be following mysterious instructions. The man seems weary and wants to stop, but the woman refuses to give up - she has to know for sure.

~ They emerge on the roof of the building and hurry toward a red 1950s car. It's only when they get close that they realize the horror of what they're really seeing. There's a decomposing body in the front seat.

~ Hawkes and Sid remove the body from the car as Mac and Jo talk to the older couple. They came here looking for their missing son, Jeremy, and they assume the body is his. They received a lot of 'tips' after they posted that they would give a reward for information about their son's whereabouts, but they all turned out to be dead ends - until this one.

~ They are able to determine that the victim is not Jeremy - it's another missing young man from Jeremy's college. They still need to find Jeremy.

~ Poisoning seems to be involved.

~ I see a lot of Mac, Jo and Flack in this one. Flack has a good scene with the victim's mother.

~ We also get to learn more about Jo's family. We meet her 11-year-old son Elliot when he comes to the lab. He's not happy in New York and wants to go back to Virginia. Jo says their family has a chance to start over, and she convinces him to give school another try. At the end of the episode, she meets Elliot for hot dogs and buys an extra one. Elliot seems happier, but Jo is disappointed when her older son Tyler calls to say he can't come because he's having pizza with his friends from college.
I'm curious about Jo's family - I guess Tyler is the son she adopted from a woman she put in jail.

705 spoilers from Faylinn!

I guess they're not filming out of order - they're doubling up again! :)

7.05 "Out of the Sky"

I'll be back in a bit with more information. :D

ETA: Ok, there's not a ton of info, but here's what I have:

7.05 "Out of the Sky":
~ The episode opens with NYC's top criminal defense attorney (Cutter) in his penthouse apartment talking to one of his clients (Melvin) - the guy brought a gun to him and expects his attorney to hide a murder weapon. Cutter moves toward the safe behind a picture on his wall, telling Melvin that he can't keep the gun.

~ Meanwhile, a helicopter heads over the top of the building, and two men rappel down onto the roof. They enter the building with military precision - and guns. Cutter's bodyguard (Paulson) realizes that something is up and pushes Cutter and Melvin into a closet to hide. The two men rush into Cutter's apartment and shoot Paulson in the stomach. Cutter and Melvin watch from inside the closet as the men break into the safe and steal its contents. Melvin is dumb enough to rush out of the closet to grab the incriminating gun that fell to the floor in their haste to hide. The two men see him and pump him full of bullets.

~ Later, the team is investigating the death of an unidentified man with a superficial knife wound on his neck and a bullet hole in the center of his forehead. They don't know who he is or why he got shot.

~ A woman (Jenny) comes to the precinct and gives them a name - it's her boyfriend Heath. She came to report him missing, and instead she ends up identifying his body. She says he was on his way to the precinct to turn in a duffel bag full of jewelry that he found. He wanted to keep it - it was obviously worth a fortune - but Jenny convinced him that the right thing to do was turn it in. Unfortunately, he got killed on his way to the precinct.

~ It looks like Danny might know the bodyguard, Paulson. (I don't think we've seen this character before, have we?) He comments about Danny's perfect life and family and says he acts like a saint (sarcastically).

~ I don't see any mention of Jo or Lindsay. It looks like the guys will be more front-and-center this week.

~ There appears to be a scene where Danny and Adam are discussing what they'd do if they found a duffel bag full of gems worth $2 million. Danny says he'd turn it in, no question, but Adam isn't so sure it's that simple. Hawkes comes in, and Danny asks his opinion on this ethical debate (which he says Adam is failing). Hawkes segues the conversation into something relevant to the investigation by saying he'd give the gems to the man with a knife to his throat - he found out the identity of the one who left the wound on the victim's neck. (That's the end of the conversation as far as I can tell.)

More 7.05 spoilers from Faylinn:

~ Danny and Paulson rode together when they were uniformed officers 10 years ago. Danny tells Flack about the night Paulson accidentally screwed up and lost his job - they arrested several young men for gun possession, and Paulson frisked the two guys they put in the back of their car. Unfortunately, he missed the fact that one of the guys had a revolver on him. The gun fell underneath the seat and was hidden - two different cops drove the car during the next shift, and a suspect found the gun and shot them. The cops survived, but Paulson lost his job. That led to him working in security for a scumbag lawyer like Cutter.

Amendment from Fay re: Jo's child:

Here's an edit for 7.06 ("Do Not Pass Go") - Jo's son Elliot has become her daughter Ellie. Ellie is a tomboy, and everything that was mentioned about Elliot (wanting to go back to Virginia, meeting for hotdogs, etc) stayed the same. :)

Some casting info, thanks to perlnoir!

Scoop! ‘CSI: NY’ Lawyers Up With TV Vet Gregory Harrison
Trapper John’s Gonzo Gates will trade in his scrubs for $1,000 suits when Gregory Harrison guest-stars on CBS’ ‘CSI: NY,’ which this season is moving to Fridays at 9/8c.

Harrison will appear in Season 7’s fifth episode as Roland Cutler, New York City’s top criminal defense attorney, Fancast has learned. When a violent heist takes place at Cutler’s Manhattan penthouse, the high-priced lawyer must field questions from Mac and his team.

‘CSI: NY’ premieres its new season on Friday, September 24.

Following his seven-year run on ‘Trapper John M.D.,’ Harrison went on to appear on shows such as ‘Falcon Crest‘ and ‘Sisters,’ the latter of which starred ‘CSI: NY’ newcomer Sela Ward.

Harrison’s long list of credits also includes the short-lived small-screen version of ‘Logan’s Run,’ the ‘Au Pair’ series of TV-movies, and the 2009 miniseries ‘Maneater.’

Most recently, he has recurred on The CW’s ‘One Tree Hill,’ where he plays the estranged father of Austin Nichols’ Julian.

Updates on Mac/Jo and a upcoming storyline:

Some new information from TV Guide!

Please tell me Sela Ward won't be a new love interest for Mac on CSI: NY! — Max
ADAM:
Executive producer Pam Veasey assures us that there is nothing of the sort planned in the immediate future. Besides, we hear that Mac will be too focused on a new adversary to worry about his love life. The show is building a three-episode arc for a new character, a high-ranking police official who butts heads with Mac over how to handle the media during a sniper case.

As well as episode 7 spoilers:

Episode 7.07 is titled "Hide Sight."

Doesn't appear to be much right now, but here is what I can share. :)

*This episode appears to be the start of the three-episode arc. We're introduce to Chief Phil Carver, a superior to Mac. From what I gather, Mac and Carver have a hard time agreeing with each other, and seem to never be on the same page.

*There's a sniper attack, and Carver doesn't want Mac revealing to the public that there is a sniper on the loose.

*The killer appears to be targeting women.

*I only see Mac, Jo, and Lindsay mentioned. But being that the case is considered a high priority, I'm sure the others are involved as well. :)

Snippet about 708 thanks to Micha:

CSI: NY Episode 7.08 "Scared Stiff"

The CSIs discover the body of a young woman in the woods who appears to have been literally scared to death.

Additional information on 7.08, thanks to Faylinn!

~ The victim, Isabel, ran through a wooded area before she died. She was terrified, and she was trying to escape from whoever was chasing her - but she didn't get away. Park workers found her body.

~ Lindsay and Adam process Isabel's white dress, and Lindsay finds a strange yellow substance on her shoulder. She recreates the pattern with a mannequin, and it proves that Isabel was grabbed from behind.

~ Whatever happened to Isabel, it appears she wasn't the only victim - although the other women didn't die.

~ Flack and Hawkes have a good interrogation scene, and it looks like Jo has some nice scenes with the previous victims.
