Question: With all the negative spoilers out there, why should Danny-Lindsay fans even bother watching season 5 of CSI: NY? -- Amy
Ausiello: Two words: Scott Wolf. Sources confirm that the former Party of Fiver is the latest VIP to sign up for the show's 100th episode.

Also, noealonso shared that there is a casting call out for 5.09. Apparently 5.09 will be called "The Box". No spoilers out for it yet as far as I'm aware, but I'm sure we'll get something soon.

From Faylinn:

5.09 "The Box"

~ The crew at an auto wrecking yard notices something dripping out of a car they just crushed - it turns out there was a body inside. It's a young Jane Doe, and they trace the car to the owner. The owners are a young couple with a newborn baby, and they say that the car was stolen.

~ Danny and Lindsay find a guy locked in the truck of a car at the wrecking yard, and he tells Flack (who then tells Stella) how he got there - apparently he and some buddies broke into the yard to play gladiators and they shoved him in the trunk. But they ran before they could get him out because they saw headlights and didn't want to get caught. (That should be interesting. )

~ Sid and Sheldon have a scene where they talk about how the job affects them and that it never gets easier.

~ Danny sees Lindsay leaving a clinic - she rushes off to avoid him.

#510 - "The Triangle"

Apparently Danny is late for work, he calls Lindsay. Other than the name of the episode that is all I know at the moment. As soon as there is some more information about this one I'm sure it will be posted. :)

Thanks to stormymac for the following spoiler:

I just got the new TV Guide and it's official:

CSI:NY's Anna Belknap is adding to her family; her second child is due next year. "They are not planning on hiding it," she tells TV Guide about the pregnancy written into her story line.

EW:

Anna Belknap's real-life pregnancy is turning into quite the bundle of joy for Danny-Lindsay fans: Not only is CSI: NY incorporating the baby twist into Lindsay's story line, but producers have gone and made Danny the daddy!

"Lindsay will be pregnant," reveals executive producer Pam Veasey. "And, clearly, Danny is the father."

Feel free to kiss the messenger. Or shower him with gifts. Don't be shy.

The bombshell will be dropped in the show's 101st episode, tentatively scheduled to air on Nov. 26, but the fallout will be felt long thereafter. "We're not going to be so typical about it," Veasey adds. "They're both happy about it, but it is unexpected."

Thanks to PerfectAnomoly for this Ausiello information:

Question: Thank you for the news about Danny and Lindsay having a baby on CSI: NY! How will all this impact Rikki's (Jacqueline Pinol) return? -- Lisa
Ausiello: Per executive producer Pam Veasey, "It will impact how frequently we will see her. We're constantly talking about when the right moment is for her to come back and be happy for [Danny]. Yes, we're planning on her returning, but I would say the change is that it wouldn't be as often. I think at this point the audience is interested in the [Danny-Lindsay] relationship. We did the bumps already, so let's see what this new [baby] bump means for Danny."

Question: Are Danny and Lindsay going to make it official now that a baby is on the way? -- Nicole
Ausiello: If they do, it'll probably consist of a quick trip to City Hall. "We wouldn't do it big," Veasey says. "You have to think of Danny. He's a little unconventional. We want to do things that are unexpected but that really tell you a lot about his character."

Question: When exactly did Danny and Lindsay make their baby on CSI: NY? Looking at the timeline, I'm having trouble pinpointing the moment of conception. -- Tracy
Ausiello: It happened shortly after Lindsay hung up on Danny in this scene from last May. "That's the night they conceived this child," Veasey confirms. "We believe she turned around and went back. [When we shot the scene] we had no idea Anna was pregnant, but we did leave ourselves options to take this relationship in a lot of different places."

Promo videos for #503 - "Turbulence" (thanks to Ghawazee for posting the links).

CTV promo

CBS promo

Another YouTube video link about Nelly on next week's episode (thanks to Fay). It's a CBS posted video, so I think it's only available to view if you're in the US.

And, finally, a little more information about "The Triangle"... :)

It seems that the team are investigating the robbery of an armored vehicle, one of the guards was murdered during the robbery by (what seems to be) a very unusual weapon. Also, I *think* (emphasis on think, I'm not sure) that there might be some link to episode 504 - Sex, Lies and Silicone, it appears that some important evidence has gone missing.

#510 - "The Triangle"

Apparently Danny is late for work, he calls Lindsay. Other than the name of the episode that is all I know at the moment. As soon as there is some more information about this one I'm sure it will be posted. :)

Episode #511 is called "Berried Alive", thanks to Fay for the following info. :)

5.11 "Berried Alive"

From what I can tell, there is something called a flavor tripping party - what happens is that people eat some kind of berry, and then they eat and drink all sorts of strange concoctions for some reason or another. (I don't get it either. :p) Anyway, one of the guests at this party ends up drinking sodium hydroxide (aka lye), which melts her insides. Needless to say, it was no accident that she drank it.

Several random things of note:

~ Danny apparently watches Animal Planet. :p

~ A Greek man from earlier in the season turns up again

~ Stella is doing something and trying to keep Mac out of the loop

~ Angell will be there

From Kristin's Spoiler Chat:

Jeff in Huntington Beach, Calif.: This season of CSI: New York has been great! Anything big coming up?
Not just big—explosive! A.J. Buckley (Adam Ross) just told me that in three episodes "a big bomb is going to drop." When I begged and pleaded with him to reveal if a bomb is literally going to hit our beloved New Yorker's, A.J. coyly responded, "I'm just going to say a bomb—it happens!" Where's Peter Petrelli when you need him?

5.12 - "Help"

Sorry, I've only be able to have a quick look at the spoilers, so this is a little bit rushed. I think the team is investigating two deaths. A woman dies at a designer wedding dress sale, and a musician is raped and murdered. The two cases may actually be linked.

Hawkes has dinner with an ex girlfriend. She was raped years ago and Hawkes thinks that the same man has struck again.

In other notes, Flack and Angell are working on the case together. Sid and Adam share a scene. Sid recognises the musician because she played at his subway stop.
