It kinda looks like the person is wearing a hat to me and has a bandage on his arm. (In that cap)

Oh wow. I just watched the promo for Death House. I so cant wait. Was it Mac or Flack who warned Stella bout that spiky thingy?

mac, i think. you saw flack standing near her after (asking "what the hell was that?") but it was mac's voice.

"I'll shoot you if you say ladies first." Oh christ, I was laughing my rear end to pieces. Is it me, or does it look like some of the SMacked chemistry is back? DUring that scene anyhow. THe snippet we saw of it anyways. I'm looking forwards to this. THanks for sharing

haha, yeah i'm loving that line! i hope it means that, i'm not a mega-smacked-shipper or anything but i think they've been a bit cold/distant this season so i'd like to see a bit more warmth/humour between them.

by the way, as for who's in the water, i'm in camp lindsay. it looks like a woman to me, seems to have her kind of hairdo. that was who i thought it was the first time i watched it and having just looked again i still think it is.... i might be wrong tho!

That's an interesting promo, even more because we know pretty much nothing about the episode (Didn't even this guy who was asked a question about it refuse to answer and instead said something about episode 11? ). My hopes are that this will be an episode that focuses on the team and all of them get to shine in it. Hey, a girl can dream, right? ;)

OK I tried to watch this promo carrefuly and we definitively can see women's hip, and it's not a dead body because this personn is trying to protect herself - so I stay on Lindsay' s option :) one more week to know :)

I rewatched the preview and realized I was thinking of a different part--the one with the guy in the oven... that's definitely the vic. It's hard to tell who is being hit by the water, but it does look like it could be a woman. Beyond that, I can't really tell.

ETA: The hair in that screencap is waaaaay too light to be Lindsay's, but presumably they'd use a stunt double even if it was her. Still, I'd think the stunt double would have the same color hair.

CSI: NY - Episode 6.14 - Sanguine Love - Casting Call and Plotline

STORY LINE
After a young woman is found dead in the Central park snow with a puncture wound in her neck and the blood drained from her body, the CSI team works to find out who stopped her from ever seeing another new moon...

[JOSEPH] Mid 40s.. a classic yet hip, distinguished looking man in a dark, elegant suit, he is the Elder, the Philosopher, and the Prophet of a cult of real life vampires. A man who believes that the ritual sharing of blood is an act of consensual spirituality, he's busted in the act of one of his allegedly religious services, and accused of the murder by exsanguination (blood loss) of Pam. But Joseph insists with considerable force that he would never take a life and that his relationship with the dead girl was both protective and mentoring -- an assertion the detectives view skeptically, because there happens to be a chunk of the dead girl's earlobe in Joseph's refrigerator...GUEST STAR.

[KEITH] Early 20s, a strikingly handsome man with untraditional, otherworldly good looks, he's the boyfriend of the late Pam, and he's very distraught to learn of her death. A little hesitant to tell the detectives everything he knows about Pam, he balks at talking about her involvement in the blood-sharing cult headed by Joseph, possibly to protect her memory. But in fact, Keith was profoundly jealous of Pam's involvement in the eccentric cult of vampirism, and not only quarrelled with her about her participation -- he killed her in a rage and framed Joseph for the murder...GUEST STAR.

[MR. CHRISTENSEN] A hip man in his late 40s, with a British accent, he is the father of the late Pam, and he's weary with grief. A member of Joseph's cult of real-life vampires, he knows all too well that his beliefs are the subject of mockery from the uninformed (like the average NYPD detective), and he keeps his mouth shut about Pam's membership in Joseph's group. In fact, he asked his old friend Joseph to watch over and protect Pam during her stay in New York, and he's stunned by the pain of how Pam's vampire lifestyle led to her deathstyle...PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT ACTORS WITH NATIVE BRITISH ACCENTS AND VALID WORK PAPERS sptv050769. GUEST STAR.

[BILLY] This mid 20s, hip, edgy tattoo parlor owner is a member of Joseph's vampire cult, but highly disinclined to talk about it to the detectives; he's in trouble because his DNA was found on the dead girl's body (in fact, the same initiation knife was used on both Billy and Pam, and the DNA was transferred from body to body via the knife). Questioned at length by the cops, he's not happy when they confiscate his tattoo guns to see if they are also murder weapons...ONE DAY GUEST STAR. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT HEAVILY TATTOOED ACTORS UNLESS THEIR ARTWORK IS COVERABLE.

[JIMMY] Late 30s - Early 40s, OPEN ETHNICITY, a kind-faced and observant doorman at the Dakota Apartments, Jimmy instantly recognizes Pam as one of the tenants in the building. He talks wistfully about the dead girl, whom he obviously liked, and not only identifies her boyfriend by name, but reluctantly admits that she had an unspecified relationship with an unidentified older man...ONE DAY GUEST STAR.

[MRS. CHRISTENSEN] A beautiful woman in her mid 40s, with an English accent, weary with grief, she is the mother of the late Pam, and she too is questioned by the detectives, along with her husband Stuart. She's visibly devastated by her daughter's death...PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT ACTORS WITH NATIVE BRITISH ACCENTS AND VALID WORK PAPERS. GUEST STAR.

[PAM] 20 years old, an ethereal blonde and untraditional beauty, a female photographer originally from England, Pam is a smart looking sandy blonde wearing black leggings, a leather jacket and a scarf. Out in Central Park shooting pictures in the snow, she is attacked and killed; the blood is drained from her body and her earlobe is chopped off. The victim in the case, Pam is revealed to have been heavily involved in a local Goth-style vampire cult, in which blood-letting and blood-sharing is the center of an eccentric but allegedly spiritual brand of religion...CO-STAR - NO LINES - FEATURED THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE.

[YOUNG WOMAN] 20 years old, OPEN ETHNICITY, untraditional, runway model look, she is being initiated into Joseph's vampire cult, and she waits with passionate intensity as Joseph prepares her for a ritual blood-sharing...CO-STAR.

Alright, just trying to bring clarity to the whole Lindsay? Question. See the waist and hip? Definitely a woman, not to mention the bra.

Other than that, Scrooge, thanks for clearing that up. I got confused when I saw Flack y'know. I figured, they could sound a little like eachother, so it could be him.

EDIT: I doubt it's Lindsay though, as much as I want her to have some sort of dramatic storyline, (That isn't from the past), Kind'a like Stella had Frankie, HIV scare, big part in the drew bedford thingy. I don't really see this happening. But who knows, she was left out in snow day? Or sort of. Her, Sid and Peyton were the only ones without some sort of important part in the episode.

I don't think it's Lindsay. I can't tell you why not but I just have a feeling it's not Lindsay. She's probably at the lab while all of this is going on.

Also, I'm sure someone has said this already, Hawkes in the house reminds me of Danny in that panic room. Although it does look like an oven that Sheldon is in.

Thanks for the info everyone. :D

Damn, leave for a day...

Thank you for posting the 6.10 promo! I can't tell if it's Lindsay in the water-shot either -- whoever it is has short and straight, light-coloured hair with an off-center part (that's all I could tell before her head disappears), so obviously I'm crossing my fingers that it's her; but I'm not setting myself up for that

I hate when casting calls give away whodunit. :shifty:

Seriously! It's like giving away the ending to an Agatha Christie story on the book jacket  Why, why would they do that? ... But then, a lot of the episodes this season haven't really been about the mystery, which is weird.

I'm not convinced it's anybody from the lab. All the scenes where the main characters are in trouble seem to be near misses (since we know Sheldon doesn't die in that oven :p). I'd be willing to place my bets on a modern day recent victim of the house that the team ends up finding in apparent dramatic fashion. It doesn't look like Lindsey at all (waist/hip proportions look all wrong for her), it'd be really bizarre to bring Haylen back after so many absent eps in such a dramatic way, no way it's Stella (!), and I'm out of female characters from the lab! 'Course, now that I've rendered an opinion, it'll probably be entirely off base, but oh well!! We'll all find out next week!!

I looked up Ella Thompson and there is an australian singer that has hair just about the same color and sometimes pictures show her with a side part that would match the one we see in the preview. Someone earlier posted that Ella Thompson was black, but I'm not sure that is correct.

I'm wondering if Ella Thompson plays the realtor in charge of renting out the place and that is how they get the 911 call. She falls in the...vat...or whatever it is and calls for help.

going back to the virtual autopsy debate (sorry!) i was watching S4 earlier, and it was used in hostage, to help mac dig the bullets out of the vic. hawkes and sid both got a go on it, but sid did the excavation help by himself. i think that is the earliest i can remember it being used, earlier in this thread most of us (myself included!) seemed to think it didn't make an appearance til s5... so yeah, i'm now staking my claim for its first use being in s4 :p
