If it's the same one as in "Charge of This Post", and I believe it is--you would think he'd change it after it was associated with potential bombs blowing up the friggin' city. If not that, let's at least hope associating it with teh evul 333 stalker will make him change it, as PA said.

Maybe Danny and Adam will play a practical joke and change it to Britney Spears or something, and he'll chase them around the lab (or play a practical joke in return).

:lol::lol::lol:

I'd love to see Danny and Angell play a practical joke on him. Or maybe Adam...:)

I could totally see that happening.

And that's some serious inspiration for a fanfic.

Thanks, Elsie for the big revelaion! So, unless Drew has more than one office full with wine bottles, it seems Mac is going to end up tied on a chair back in NY which means the whole team would be able to fit somehow on the 333-case's resolution, great!

I mean, if the 4x10 is going to be as spectacular as "Snow day" was, we will need all the characters. And, I don't know why, but the option of making the whole team move to Chicago, didn't got my interest.

I think it will be in Ny too. Of course, we all know Mac is fine (at least physically) in ep11. Well, if Delko could be back on the job shortly after being shot in the head in Miami, then of course Mac can be back after being held hostage and whacked over the head. Just like Danny and Adam bounced back so quickly after SD. I am hoping to see some emotional/psychological impact on Mac as a result of the hostage thing next season. But we didn't get that with Danny or Adam after SD, or Flack after COTP, so I won't get my hopes up.
Still, can't wait for the ep. I really hope we get Rambo!Stella kicking Drew's ass for messing with Mac and also with her.
And yes, Mac does need to change his ringtone.

Heck, you can technically call Mac, Stella and Hawkes being a hostage in "Snow Day," and they were all able to walk out of the building right after it exploded. And then Danny, his poor body (and Adam!), and the season premiere showed no physical harm to them.

Mac will be fine. :p

ETA: Another thing that proves Mac gets abducted in NY (and I hope this hasn't been said) is that in the promo, Flack says we have an abduction of an officer on his radio. I remember reading the script for the episode and Mac/Flack have no jurisdiction in Chicago, so I doubt Flack would be saying it in Chicago

Good catch, Elsie, with the wine bottles in the background! And vegaslights, nice point about Flack not having jurisdiction in Chicago. The final showdown must take place in NY.

Hey, MacsLady, you really made a good point bringing us the fact that none of the characters have never showed any sign of an emotional trauma after being in all those dangerous situations. So, as you have said, I don't think Mac is going to do it now, but it would be such an interesting thing to see.

Anyway, you have talked about the impact that may cause the hostage situation on Mac, but I say, what about the impact Stella is just about to face? I mean, the last two men she has been somehow "involved" with ended up being two potential-killers. And THIS, really is an impact.

That's so very true. Sometimes I wish that the show were more like the books, because at times I feel like their more human there.

I think in Mac's case, the showdown with the 333 caller will probably be mostly cathartic (since I'm making a huge leap and assuming he'll survive ;) ). After all, he'll finally be able to put this whole thing behind him. But yeah, if Danny or Adam are okay after their trauma, then I'm sure a tougher character like Mac won't show any signs of emotional trauma.

I'm a little bit miffed that things seem to be ending up back in NY so quickly. When I read the spoilers first, I was hoping we'd get lots of Mac/Flack scenes without any interruptions from the rest of the team, but now i'm thinking we'll be lucky to get one or 2 scenes with them in Chicago and then everything will be back to NY.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping the whole showdown took place in Chicago.

See I am the same I was hoping for an episode full of good Mac Flack interacton of the caliber we had in season 3, so like you guys I was hoping it would be a Chicago based ep.

I did think it was all going to be in Chicago not that I'm saying its going to be wierd bringing it back to NY but I wanted to see the Mac/Flack interaction this season its been nice to see the way they have now bonded over the Truby and have a mutual thing.

And about the ringtone its funny how you can turn your head hear that noise somewhere or even when u stopped watchin ny for second and instant thought is "macs phone"

I wanted to see the Mac/Flack interaction this season
Well, as someone who always sees the glass half full, I have to say that, at least, we will be able to witness some -and let's hope, memorable- scenes between those two.
