CSI:NY Season 4 Spoilers--Get 'Em In A New York Minute

So, after reading all the material that Lorelai left on the previous posts and taking in considerations all the spoileers abaut the following episodes, do you think the whole 333-arch is going to end with Mac's journey to Chicago? If so, don't you think this storyline is going to end too early?

Nah, I think it's much better this way, rather than dragging out through the whole season. :)

The "Commuted Sentences" episode seems interesting. So that's the one that was shot at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. ;) I see Kendall is appearing again. Why hype up the character's relationship (or lack thereof) with Adam if she's only going to appear once, then disappear for 5-6 episodes? Her being in the ep or not doesn't make a difference, lol.
 
Hey Fay, maybe Angell really has two first names. :p Either one sounds sweet.

And Lorelai, that is one hilarious typo. :lol: Or is that the reason why there isn't an official promo for this episode?
 
Actually, I was talking about Adam running back and forth between recurring and regular--1-4 he's recurring, 5-6 he's regular, 7 he's recurring...*sigh* Make up your minds, damnit. :rolleyes:

Them suddenly listing Angell as Jessica (which I didn't even notice) is stupid too, but at least they've never actually said her first name (I don't think?) and I guess this just means they're going to go with the name the writers can't seem to get out of their brains.

Blah, she's useless right now--it would be nice if they'd bothered a bit more. Don't announce a new 'recurring' character that disappears for five episodes--of course, don't announce that an actor is now a 'series regular', have him disappear for two episodes, then have trouble figuring out where to stick his name in the press release.

The thing with Kendall has been shoddy. They introduce her in her underwear--but oh, it's not like that, she didn't sleep with Adam, so...what was the point of that scene? And I'm sorry, but I'm not really looking forward to all of Adam's scenes in "Commuted Sentences" being about him making goo-goo eyes at Kendall the way it was in the premiere. Yes, yes, they're 'cute', but I don't really care. The preoccupation with these people pining after, dating, sleeping with, or otherwise being romantically involved with their coworkers is not thrilling me in the slightest anymore.

It's especially annoying when you see Miami and Vegas suddenly have policies about people dating coworkers (I believe Vegas has something in place, it might just be Miami) because ZOMG it's convenient to the plot--can't NY do the same thing and we can let this crap end? Adam can date some hottie from the video game store who has a lip ring and we can preserve my sanity.

Sorry, I'm obviously a bit miffed tonight (reading spoilers for another show has reawakened some old ire in my bones--although the problem relates to NY as well with its preoccupation with uber-attractive, skinny people, and the tendency to make jokes when someone doesn't fit that description).

Mayhap I have PMS. Somebody get my fat ass some Midol.
 
If they call Angell 'Jessica' I will personally swim all the way to the U.S and slap the writers silly. JEnnifer siuts her WAY better!!

Has Angell's first name even been mentioned on the show? I don't recall...but Jennifer suits her very well. :)

In my mind, "series regular" means we get to see them in the opening credits. Why haven't TPTB done this with AJ? He's certainly earned his series regular status, so why aren't they sticking him in the main credits? Instead he's now credited as a Special Guest Star. WTF? Similarly, like I said, why make a deal out of Kendall when she's just going to pop up every 5-6 episodes? *frustrated sigh*

I agree 100%!!! Surely there were other ways to introduce that character as well as establish the fact that Adam has a bit of a crush on her. And, surely there's no shortage of (better) actresses in Hollywood, so why go with someone who's already appeared on the show as a different character before? I believe she played the bridesmaid in "Till Death Do Us Part"? She was the groom's ex and tried on the wedding gown for fun, got her hair stuck in the button and was considered a suspect in the bride's death?

Bleh. At least find someone who looks less like a bimbo and more like someone who works in a lab. But I guess that's Hollywood for you... :lol:
 
^^Yeah, I wasn't thrilled when I remembered who she was because something about that character griped my arse (namely the way she spoke)--I was hoping it was just the character, but it turns out that Kendall talks the same way. I reallyreallyreally want to like her and like her with Adam and all that (especially if I'm going to have to see it on a regular basis), but I just didn't see anything in the premiere to make me think I'll do anything more than be indifferent to it. *sigh*

I believe something in the spoilers for a later episode implied that she's a party-girl (or at least goes to clubs). So she's beautiful, perfectly-groomed, wears matching underthings, is intelligent and likes to party--is there anything she can't do? I don't know, I'm not thrilled thus far. *still wishes we could have gotten someone like Garcia from Criminal Minds*

Oooh, yes! You watch CM too? OMG, I'm a big fan! But that's a whole different topic altogether. LOL. Yeah, it would've been cool to see Adam with someone like Garcia. They can out-geek each other, I can see it now...how adorable will that be? :D

Dude, Garcia is probably my favorite character on CM--the idea of someone like her on NY would make me such a squealing fangirl, you have no idea. :lol: Not to mention that it would be a totally different type of competitive flirtation. :p Kendall is more of the same with these shows--they're all smart and attractive and everything. So bring in someone who is still smart and attractive, but not Barbie. Gimme some quirks and a hot mama with meat on her bones! :p
 
So far, yes. She's going to be in 7 and 9 coming up that we know so far. (I don't remember if she's in any others?)

You don't have to judge her, but I'll feel free to do so. In any case, it's just talking, and I could very well wish to eat my words after episode 7 airs. Time will tell.

No, I mean that a lot of people think Devon is crap after only one episode--so it's really no different than not being thrilled with Kendall after only one episode and wishing she were different. And Kendall is coming back, whereas Devon is probably well and truly gone anyway.

*has flashes of Garcia bantering with the very hot Morgan* Oof. Most definitely. Garcia is a hot mama in her own right! We need more people like her on TV shows. :D My fave CM character is Reid, though. So adorkable. Heehee.

I'm willing to take back my initial opinion of Kendall should she prove to have more depth than we think she has, in upcoming episodes. ;) I'm serious, LOL.

I think it's largely because Devon made such a "grand" entrance in the episode by making out with Flack. :lol: I know I went a little bonkers when I saw that. Hehehe.
