CSI:NY season 2 comes to the Philippines

So what's a little up-onemanship? Heh. I didn't see anything underhanded about that. Just a little fun.

I'm fine with the new!girl card thing. Been at my job for 10 years and yet I'm still treated as the newbie or baby (because they're ALL older! Bwahahah!) And yeah, I was the last to get in the production circle. I'm exaggerating, of course. Too much chocolate in the morning, wheeeee.

Anyway, sometimes I wonder if we're all watching the same show or I just have blinders on. I've no problems with Lindsay whatsoever. Sure, she can be annoying --- but so can be anyone of them at one point or another. Well, whatever, embrace the chaos, I says ;)

Gary has chemistry with everybody, so.

Which was why I mentioned I'll watch it again. I'm not sure if I can without detaching myself from what feedback I've heard and read. :)

People have different perspective on things (gotta love Einstein's Theory of Relativity). And with Lindsay, people have mixed vibes about her. This likely stemmed from the fact she was seen as a replacement of an established character. And to some folks, she hasn't shaken off that stigma of being the new replacement.

Word. Nuff said. :D

I like Lindsey... alone. Quoting Simon Cowell, she's not easily likable. Plus, I have this initial hostility when it comes to new characters. But she does grow on you. I just don't like the fact that TPTB are pushing D/L on their viewers so blatantly. What happened to "no fraternizing with co-workers"? It took CSI:LV 6years to jump shark. Lol....

tiqlado -- Lol, I live for research! So bring it on! Plus, it's interesting to analyze Flack, now that we're almost done with Danny. S2 clearly was his story and everyone else took a backseat. Now that Flack's the one who was kept hanging in S2 finale, I hope S3 will be his. His relationship with Flack,Sr., however shady or shaky that is - is a good place to start reading.

^^Gotta love Einstein

Sorry if you felt I'm singling you out on the Lindsay thing. I just don't see what they're seeing but like you said, we all can't see everything the same way now, could we? How boring would that be 'no? That's just the way it goes :) Like I have this close friend who only likes Danny in the show (but she hardly watches actually) and I'm like, but he's the only guy I *don't* like in the CSI-world

What's next for us anyway? I still suck at episode titles, augh.

And chaostheory, have you checked out the forum I told you about? NY-S1 (R1) is on sale at p1,500, still sealed. A true bargain

^Yeah, checked it out. Original DVDs. Sadly, my cousin pre-empted me and bought be a much cheaper pirated set. Oh well, that would make due, I guess :'(

Yeah, that's mostly my problem with her, the forced D/L relationship. I think they could have made Danny and Lindsay have the sort of friendship like Nick and Sara, for example, and it would probably have worked better. But anyway, we'll see how it goes in the future episodes.

I hope Flack gets more time in Season 3 too! Even though he's not a CSI...well, it's the writers' fault for making him so fascinating, so now they have to finish what they started!

The producers HAD to make at least one girl to stay with Danny, people. They won't want to make him look gay with Flack, now do they?
Honestly, I think the Dantana ship is working really well. I see DnA as more of best friends flirting together, but with Lindsay, I can see that Danny has the chem with her. DANTANA IS NOT FORCED.

I DO have something to say about Lindsay's antics though-she's allowed to kiss up to Mac because she's a newbie. Put yourself in her shoes-you'd want to make as many friends as you possibly will in a new place, right? What-so-how-ever, I do envy the fact that SHE gets to be so close to Mac. Grr.
The bow scene was really cute though. "Gimme another arrow!" I loved that.

Tanglewood, yes, it was Fort Minor's In Stereo. I love that song. FM rocks!

Mac at the jazz club-is there anything more satisfying to watch than that? (Danny in tank top) Bear in mind that Tom Hanks (in Forrest Gump with Gary) travelled to NY to go to a hotel to watch a jazz performance in The Terminal. Freaky connection.

NEXT EPISODE: WE'RE FINALLY HERE! It's Fare Game. This is about water guns and fear factor-like food. I remember reading that Mrs. Giovizzano from TalkCSI ate some stuff in this ep. I think I saw her in the preview! She gave the black book to Carmine, right?

CSI: I can't believe we're finally at Rashomama! Soon it'll be the season finale, and then...farewell! I liked the poems the characters recited in Rashomama-"Spring has put a song where love and laughter do get along,"-Grissom.

There's a lot of exclamation marks in this post! There goes another!

Durrrrr! Lots of posts after I was gone! *breathes* Okay, first things first...

chaostheory08: As you know by now, we've started a discussion on Flack's background over at this thread. I see you're already there! :D

And since you mentioned research, what I would like to know is how the police department works in the States. Like, what divisions there are, rankings, what duties a specific division has. I feel like I'm hampered from making a longer fanfic because of that, among other things.

Plus, I have this initial hostility when it comes to new characters. But she does grow on you.
Yeah, I feel the same way. Territorial kind of thing, I suppose. She hasn't grown on me. I dunno, but I feel like her voice lacks conviction, aside from the fact that she hardly has a lot of facial expressions that cuts across the TV Screen...

How boring would that be 'no?
" 'no?", Pilipino nga naman, like me.
Honga, eh.

Here's hoping the consistency fairy drops by and slap some sense upside the writer's head. :p But that's the thing. Flack's not a CSI. But who knows? If over at LV, they have follow-up on Brass' condition, then I'll pitch a fit!

ranma : No problem! We each have our own take at things, we just have to know how to deal and deal well. :) You not like Danny? I felt the same way at first, but this guy grew on me.

Fare Game: Wooohooo! Flack brings in his arsenal of facial expressions! Wheee... :D

Mucho love, people!

I see that people have a lot of different opinions about Lindsay. I guess it's safe to say that she's a pretty, erm, controversial character. I think I'm pretty clear on where I stand with Lindsay and besides, there are other threads for that.

I loved the LV episode this week! The recollection of events from everybody's point of view was hillarious! My favourite was Greg's ala 50's private eye monologue  It totally had me it stitches. Grissom's was funny too. Gotta love that man. Grissom is my idol! :D

tiqlado -- I see. I have been looking up those ranks and salaries (believe it or not) of the NYPD.

I think the way they introduced Lindsey was too abrupt, that's why she's a bit to hard to read. She's not easily likable (although I loved Anna on MedInv). Give her time. Maybe TPTB will see how mixed the reaction of their D/L project had and maybe tone it down a notch.

RE: Mac and Forrest Gump. Don't get me started in my theories on that. Trust me, I have a lot.

Amen to that! I so agree with you.

Yup, she did ;) I'm so pumped for this eppy!

I just saw the whole ep-Hawkes has the HOTTEST black shirt ever. wow. It fitted him so well!
Danny-well, I think he's being a little too rude to the suspects.
Stella's overcoat at the beginning of the show-leapord spots?! What has gotten into that woman?
