Do you have any scoop on the betrayal on CSI: Miami? Do you know if anyone is leaving? — Jaison
ADAM: Considering that Delko is now investigating a murder instead of just theft, it's a good bet that there will be serious consequences. "[The explosion] kicks Delko's investigation into overdrive," producer Krystal Houghtontells us. "Somebody involved in the theft dies, and somebody else's career is ruined."

Update Regarding Cibrian's Departure

Update Added Regarding Cibrian’s Departure

Posted by Rachel - 18/06/10 at 01:06 am
CSI Files previously reported that Eddie Cibrian (Jesse Cardoza) would be leaving the cast of CSI: Miami in season nine after CBS chose not to pick up the actor’s contract. We then posted further details about Jesse’s fate on the show, but E! Online has updated their information to reflect a more uncertain future for the character. (Potential spoilers after the jump!)

E! Online originally stated that Jesse would be killed as season nine got underway. However, a source has since clarified that the people in charge of Miami have not yet decided how the character will make his exit. Death is still a possibility, but that remains a rumour at this point.

CSI Files previously reported that Eddie Cibrian (Jesse Cardoza) would be leaving CSI: Miami after spending one year on the series. The network chose not to pick up Cibrian’s contract option for season nine, but the details of his exit have not yet been decided. “Eddie will be segueing out of CSI: Miami and we are in discussions currently as to how many shows he will appear in for the 2010-11 season,” Cibrian’s manager, Steve Sauer, explained in a statement.

Title of the ep is unknown at this point but what we do know is....the episode picks up right where it left off except we are with Horatio as he and Frank rush back to the lab after they realize Starling has done something to it. They even do the cheesy "we need you car, this is a police emergency" bit on a woman in order to get her car! lol

Upon arrival Horatio realizes that it is something in the air that is causing everyone to drop like flies so he shoots out the atrium window in order to get fresh air into the lab. Unfortunately, not all of our CSI's make it out alive (and I think we all know which one that is)....Sadly, even though Eddie Cribrian's rep and sources close to the show denied it, it looks (as of right now) like Jesse Cordoza will be hanging out with Tim Speedle in that great dead CSI heaven

There is a touching scene though where Walter goes to the morgue to say goodbye to Jesse and even wipes the blood off his face from when he fell to the ground.

There really isn't much but we do also learn that Starling had a partner who helped him to gain access to airborne agent that was released in the lab...more than likely, this guy is the one who released it while H and Frank were arresting Starling.

There is a memorial service at the end of the episode, where Eddie's body is taken away on a plane.

As always, the information is subject to change.

Ep 902 untitled at this time is about a rising football star Brady Jennings who is on the verge of being the number on draft pick and therefore on the edge of a very big pay day. And yet, he is a little overwhelmed and humbled by it all.

He is at a party at Club Trapeze with beautiful woman swooning over him asking him for his autograph and just wanting to get close to the rising young stud. His wanna be agent Chip Ford is trying to show Brady what life is gonna be like for him when he signs his big deal by going first in the draft and making him his agent.

Brady doesn't quite know what to do...he doesn't want to assume anything. He almost has that southern boy innocence about him and is overwhelmed by the expense of the champagne and the attention the women are garnering on him. But one woman catches his eye, bottle girl Kristen Banks.

The two have a little interlude in one of the clubs privates room and when he awakes sometime later, Brady finds a very dead Kristen Banks laying next to him. Panicking, Brady grabs his clothes and flees the scene. We constantly cut back and forth to Ryan and Eric chasing him on foot over rooftops....Brady is in very good shape and Ryan and Eric are having an extremely hard time keeping up with him.

As they look into Kristen's murder further, the team discovers that someone is trying to extort Brady Jennings and the team feels Kristen was just one half of a duo working to extort alot of money out of the rising athlete and it was her partner who may have murdered her...but they aren't sure.

There is a little secondary storyline going on in the ep...as there almost always is. Sara Dawes, a friend of Kristen (the victim) worked the table that Brady Jennings was at while at the club....she seems to be harboring a little secret in the form of being a drug mule for Richard Elsen, a CEO of a big company. She has a young son Luke so when offered to peddle perscription pills like Vicodin and perocetes she agrees b/c she needs the money but when she short changes some buyers they come looking for her. And who does she call? Who comes running to her rescue? That's right Horatio!

Episode 1 now has a title -- 'Fallen'

Originally posted by Delkolover:

The episode is about the kidnapping of a wealthy family's daughter. Lindsay Preston is kidnapped b/c her mother Claire told someone that the money her husband earns is not done legally. The kidnapper therefore figures that the Preston's will pay and not go to the police b/c then Greg would have to explain how he came into all the money he would be giving to the kidnapper. Turns out Greg has been laundering money through his restaurants for what he describes as "European Investors"

The only witness to the kidnapper's crime is Ben...who has been blind for the last 8 years of his life. However, even though he is blind he is able to help give the team a description of the situation surrounding Lindsay's kidnapping and some of the kidnapper features simply by using his other senses (ie hearing and sense of smell). Ryan is skeptical at first but Ben shows him that even though he is blind he can still be a reliable witness. Ben was at the bank where Lindsay was forced to try and gain access to her father's account but the teller wouldn't give her access b/c she did not have the pin code needed to withdraw the money. She even called her father at work but he cut off saying she wasn't ready for the responsibility of handling all the money she was asking for. She pleaded him saying it wasn an emergency but he stood firm....he had no idea what was really going on and she couldn't tell him.

The kidnapper does evetually call back and tells Greg to give his daughter the pin code or she dies. Greg gives the number to the kidnapper and the kidnapper then hangs up b/c he realizes the team is trying to trace the call. The kidnapper then staps a PVC bomb vest to Lindsey and instructs her to go back to the bank, use the pin code and withdraw the money. He tells her she does anything to attract attention to herself and he will trigger the bomb, killing her and everyone in the bank.

From Fancast:

Thank you for the Adam Rodriguez Q&A – but I’m confused about one thing: What happened to Eddie Cibrian’s character? – Greg
In the October 3 season opener, it will be revealed that Cibrian’s Jesse Cardoza has been (gulp) murdered. Says A-Rod, “He was killed by a guy we’ve been after for a little while.” Bright side: Eddie bounced back with a gig on NBC’s ‘Chase.’

Episode 904....

This episode brings back an old nemesis of Horatio and Eric's. Meemo Fierro, the man who shot and killed Marisol has escaped from prison. Memmo steals a boat in the marina and beaches it near an area where his girlfriend lives. At first it seems he is just fleeing but Memmo contacts Horatio and says he has a score settle.

Turns out Memmo is not only looking for revenge against Horatio and Eric for putting him away but also for his daughter who has been taken away from her biological mother b/c of either neglect or harm and he is paving a path of destruction in order to do it....killing the case worker who placed his daughter with a foster family as well as a young couple who happened to have the means for him to escape.

However when Memmo does get to see her daughter he is quick to say hello and then leave with a hostage in tow, telling Horatio and Eric that he has somewhere he has to be b/c he needs to do something.....but no one seems to know what.

I need some CSI: Miami scoop, pronto! — Brett
ADAM: The team will investigate a kidnapping early in Season 9 with the help of a witness. The bad news: He's blind. Look for him and Natalia, who is hearing impaired, to form a special bond. Also: Two perps from the show's past will turn up again — one in prison, and one back on the streets.

Question: Any word on Calleigh and Eric’s romance on CSI: Miami? —Lila
Ausiello: A few words, actually. “They will spend some time assessing their relationship,” reveals exec producer Marc Dube. “It could go either way…but Delko’s return is about getting back to being a CSI. He missed it.” Adds fellow EP Barry O’Brien: “You may see that relationship evolve in a way that surprises even us, the writers. We’re kind of letting it grow right now on its own.”
