I just recently started watching Criminal Minds, I am loving it... Its has become another show I try to catch every week! My Dad was watching it one night and I stopped to talk to him about something and just have kept watching since then! Its an awesome show, I love Crime shows!
 
Hey! I've just recently started watching this show, but I've got to say it might win out over Lost for me soon. I really hope it continues for a second season next year, hopefully in a better timeslot. My favourite character is definitely Reid (it's the geekiness - gets me every time), but the computer expert (I'm sorry, I don't know her name) is hilarious as well.

Anyways, I've made a wallpaper with some of the few pictures I could find on the internet. This is one of my very first wallpapers, so I'm hoping it's ok! Enjoy!

Dr. Reid is a surprising person...He could connect so much to just one simple sign... :lol:
 
OMG! You have to watch it! It has all the characters: the smart old guy, the one guy who is logical, the hot smart guy, the two girls and the weird geeky guy.
Did you watch it last night? That's the last time i'm licking an envelope! At the end did you see Reid jump that wall? Ha he barely got over it. Only at my house i was the only one who thought it was funny
 
I didn't watch it because I had to record Lost for my roommate... and well, I wanted to watch Lost RIGHT then. Lost always wins.
 
OMG indeed :eek:I was riveted to my seat for the entire hr, (taped it) so I don't have to go through the boring commercials-fast paced and intense- :eek: really good cast too- great new show- good stories -good writers and - ;) :cool:
 
I loved the system of logic they went through to figure out that the punch bowl wasn't the real target. Really exciting, and it all made sense! I totally didn't notice her other hand the first time they showed the video.

Did you notice that during one scene Reid's hair wasn't behind his ears? :eek: Woah, weird, I know. (Although.. the weird part is probably the fact that I actually noticed that.)
 
I haven't seen the entire episode yet, but I liked what I did see of it. I especially liked how Reid realized that the candy wasn't the only source of the LSD poison. When they were watching the video looking for the source, I originally thought it was going to be the stamps because I focused in on a little girl licking a stamp and thought that was significant. The envelopes didn't even occur to me! :rolleyes:

How sad is it that I'm developing a bit of a crush on Reid? :eek: There's nothing wrong with geeks as a whole, but Reid is like every geek you've ever met all smushed into one! His hair almost looks like a comb-over, he's got the old man sweaters half of the time...Who would think that the actor was once a model for Tommy Hilfiger? :p Between CM's hair and wardrobe, and the uber-perm (a la Napoleon Dynamite) from "The Life Aquatic," Gubler must really want us to concentrate on his acting and ignore the fact that he's actually pretty cute (and that he needs to eat something!) :lol:

Seriously though, I love all of the actors on the show (although I must be in the minority because my least favorite character is Gideon). I like that the people are diverse and each have their own way of working out the crimes. Can I just say that, if I was to go on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," I want Reid as my phone-a-friend! ;) Morgan is sexy, but he's also serious and work-oriented, which I think is nice. His interaction with Garcia is priceless! Elle is a pretty kcik-ass woman, without going overboard and annoying the crap out of me. I sometimes get confused over who is in charge, Gideon or Hotchner...I think Hotchner is the boss, but Gideon takes the lead (or am I missing something?) J.J. is starting to grow on me, and at least she didn't spend the whole show staring at her cellphone! ;) I like that they're showing a hint of feelings between her and Reid without actually making it a part of the storyline. They went on one (maybe) date, but I don't want it to turn into a big-ole' thing...maybe she can get him to cut his hair, though... :lol:
 
Ha! I knew I wasn't the only one with an unhealthy fascination for Reid's hair! :D Ahem, of course, the rest of him is definitely worth a fair amount of attention, as well. ;)

Nope, not missing a thing! Hotchner is the official team leader, while Gideon is the expert. I think they both share the leadership role though. I'm really glad that the writers haven't made it into some kind of a competition between the two for leadership. That would seem unrealistic, not to mention completely out of character.

So far for me, my favourite character is probably Reid, and my least would have to be J.J.. I really don't feel like we see enough of her for her to have her own distinctive personality yet. Of course, this is someone who's only seen 4 episodes speaking. :p
 
In certain ep, Gedion once said he is the supervisor of ... cannot recall exactly ... could someone do a favor to check it?

He does sound funny--I particularly like his little anecdote about carving pumpkins. :lol: And the sketch of the "apologetic" pumpkin is just priceless! :lol::lol::lol:
 
Since I was the last one to post, and no one else has come on here since, I had no choice but to double post, so here goes. :D

I watched "Ride the Lightning" and it was awesome! I really liked it. There were some parts I didn't like, but the interaction between Gideon and the woman (I think her name was Sara) more than made up for anything else. I also loved the part when Gideon and Reid were reciting the letter as Elle read it over their little earpieces--when Sara came across that table and scrabbled at Reid, he looked shocked! :lol: And she nearly beat the crap out of him to get to his earpiece, too! :lol::lol: You gotta love Reid--and he gets hotter every episode. ;)

J.J. is definitely getting more likeable as a character--she's getting more development, and I'm glad of that. I didn't really get the purpose of her going into the interrogation room with Hotch, but it did make the guy open up a teeeeny bit, so I guess that's better than nothing. I'm glad that he didn't get to sniff her hair though--that would give me nightmares, especially since he'd probably bite her ear or something when she leaned over. Eww... ;) I like that she's a pretty tough chick. Go J.J.! :D

Garcia is great as well--seeing her go with them to Florida was fun (and a nice change from sorta-lame video conferencing). I loved her comment in the car about the guy killing blondes and her being blonde. :rolleyes: You're classic, Garcia! :lol: I did miss the phone calls between her and Morgan (who was barely there this episode, I noticed).

All in all, it was a great episode, and I loved the way the characters reacted to the case. The man at the jail who let Sara go out to see the full moon (I don't remember his name) was great because he seemed so used to the procedure of executions, but at the same time you could tell that he was affected by Sara's story. I do wish that they'd been able to find the other four girls that Jacob(?) had killed. I thought it would show them searching around all of the building that he did with arches, looking for bodies. Maybe the Florida police did that, but it would have been nice to see our team involved.
