Conquences: The Trial

"Where's Stella?" Mac asked his colleagues. "She should be here already. Taking a chance on getting reprimanded, Mac pulled out his cell and dialed her number. The proceedings hadn't offically started yet, so maybe he could get away without stepping outside this time.
 
Flack smiled at Mac's glance around the courtroom, and guessed he was checking for Stella and the guards.
"Don't worry Mac, the coast is clear!" He laughed.
 
sofia laughed. 'Don't ever dare to grow up!', she said, and punched flack against his shoulder. 'Cause' if you go like... mature.. then i can't babysit on you anymore..', she whispered to him, and slightly kissed him on the cheek. then, she looked at the rest of the team. 'It's good to see you guys again.. alive', sofia said, and smiled to the rest. 'well, i hope delko will dissapear into jail for life..', she said, while feeling still angry about what this man did to everyone.
 
"Catherine?"

Lindsay smiles as she recognizes The beautiful Vegas CSI.
She walks back up to Catherine and holds out a wedding invitation. She hands Mac, Flack and Sofia theirs too.

"Here, Catherine.....I told you you were going to be the first to get one, but I got so excited that I gave Calleigh and Sara theirs first."

She turns to the others and says, "I was up for hours getting these finished, but I ws so happy when I finally did," She smiles at Flacks comment, "Yes he is growing up....you'd be suprised how much he has actually." She laughs happily at a funny mental image she got of Danny being a kid.
 
Danny looked at Don and said, "Hey man, if I'm growing up so are you." He pointed to his best friend and said, "It's a moment that you'll never want to change- or give up." Danny said as he and Lindsey walked inside and took a seat.

Warrick laughed at Catherine's comment. "I'm suspried HE even let you away from the lab?" Warrick responded as he talked about the lab director he despised. He looked at Nick and said, "How you doing?"
 
As they walk inside, Lindsay gets a violent churning in her stomach and leans into Danny suddenly.

She looks up at Danny apologetically and smiles sweetly.
 
Stella was running late, she had almost forget, almost. She started walking up the steps when she felt her cellphone vibrate and saw that it was Mac and opened up her cell and pushed talk, "Mac?" He was going to kill her for being late, she knew it. She wondered if she was the only one late.
 
"What?" Danny asked his beautiful bride. "What's wrong?" He asked her as he looked into her eyes. "Is it your head, is it?" Messer asked as he moved his hands to her to her shoulders. "Talk to me." He said as he looked into her eyes. "What's bothering you?"
 
Lindsay looks up at him, furrows her brows and smiles.

"No, Danny.....I haven't had anythng ot eat in a while..." Her legs are shaking now.

"I'm worried about seeing Delko again.....He nearly took my life, I've never had that happen before..." She sniffles once, still looking into his deep blue eyes.

But she forces herself to stay strong. She smiles at Danny and sits down.
 
"I was starting to worry a bit since I hadn't heard from you." Mac said. "Why aren't you here yet?" He noticed Lindsay "Just a minute Stella...are you all right, Lindsay?" Hearing her reply, he nods "We're all nervous, I think.,,and I can understand you being moreso than the rest of us."
"Sorry, Stella...I think we all have pre-trial jitters, but Lindsay's understandably bad."
 
Lindsays hands are shaking in her lap, she looks around nervously, ready to run if she sees him in here.

She leans back into the seat she's in and tries to relax, but it's not really working.

She's now breathing deeply, trying to dissipate any new panick attacks.
 
Danny takes her hand and said, "Relax, he can't hurt you." Danny smiled at her. "Now your either hungery or your carring my child." He said to her. "You know how the court does this, Eric is gonna be cuffed, and he won't be able to hurt you."
 
She smiles at him weakly and says, "I know......" She pauses, thinking about some article she read on prgenancy and the effects of it on the female body, "I didn't think the dizziness...no it can't be possible, can it?" She draws him in for a tight hug, her hands are still shaking as they rub his back.
 
(Nice spell job on the title.)
Delko was finally escorted into the court room with his lawyer and the Balif. As we walked by his former CSI friends he only gave them a deep and hateful stare, and then flashed a grin as the group. Delko thought to himself "When I get out I am going to finish what I started with those pity idiot."
 
Lindsay nearly falls from her seat and tries to run, but she thinks better of it.

She's feeling another panic attack coming on, she buries her face into Danny's shoulder, so very scared about the man infront of them, even though he was in cuffs and being escorted in/out. She mumbles into Dannys shoulder, "I'm scared, Danny.." Before taking another look at delko, only to put her head back where it was a moment before - Delko was staring at her.
