Santa Monica for one, which I think that's where this is. There are lots of carnivals, fairs and amusement parks in L.A. I was born there~

Yes, the Santa Monica Pier is sort of a landmark around L.A.

I grew up in L.A. too, Desertwind, and even worked in Santa Monica, but I don't think I set foot ON the pier once!

Now the Malibu Pier, that's another story :lol:
I lived in Malibu for 5 years, and recently saw that Alice's is no long Alice's!

I'm looking very forward to this episode! They didn't have to cover up being in L.A. while filming for a change

Yes, it is, I was in Coney Island when I was a kid, my folks took me and my sister there, so thrilling, the rollar coaster. Is it called the Cyclone? I just read a while back that part of ths epsiode was filmed off the Santa Monica pier, so I think that is where it is. And ladybronco L.A. is an amazing town still so many diverse ethnic groups and so much to do? Have you ever been to The Grove? many celebs shop there, and Jorja Fox has been seen surfing off the Santa Monica pier

 

Hasn't the Pier shown up in a lot of shows? I remember it from Angel, I know.

 

There was a scene on the pier earlier this season on NCIS Los Angeles.
Can't think of any others at the moment though.

 

Shows up in Private Practice all the time. It's fairly popular to go 'Look! We're in LA Area!'

 

Yeah guys if u ever watch "Private Practice", u will most definitely see that coaster.
