Diane Farr, who stars as FBI agent Megan Reeves on "Numb3rs," is now a new mother.
The acterss and her entertainment marketing executive husband Seung Yong Chung welcomed a baby boy Friday morning (March 16) in Los Angeles, reports People.
"Mother and baby are happy and healthy," the actress' rep says.
Beckett Mancuso Chung was born at 8:56 a.m., weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and measured 22 inches. His first name comes from Irish poet and playwright Samuel Beckett, while his middle name is a Farr family name. Beckett is the couple's first child.
Farr, 37, and Chung, 36, were wed in late June 2006 at Rainbow Tarns, a lodge in Mammoth Lakes, Calif. Chung owns the Los Angeles-based entertainment marketing firm Chung and Associates.
Farr's family and friends must be happy it worked out for the actress this time. She was previously set to walk down the aisle once before to another man, when her then-fiancee called the whole thing off. After already sending out "Engaged" announcements, Farr followed it up with cheeky "Single" greeting cards that read, "Met the wrong guy. Gave him the wrong finger. Thanks for your support."
The cards were such a hit, it launched the card company OtherAnnouncements.com, which was featured on "Oprah."
Farr's other credits include "The Drew Carey Show," "Roswell," and "Rescue Me," on which she played a female firefighter. The actress plans to return for the "Numb3rs" season finale, which airs May 18.
