I think right after that scene, he took her to her office (which we know she so still has) and :devil: until he had to leave.

Double Dealer, I've got that, I'm sure that's the one I read again not that long ago, but I totally missed that part. I knew that writer liked CatNip. The other book is really good.

Yeah, The case is about a mummy they found and it says

Nick shrugged at Catherine. "A mummy."
She smirked at him. "Come on, daddy-o..."

The ring was found on the mummy and Nick found who made it and then the maker remembered who he made it for and that is how they ided the body, and Cath congratulated him. My mind took it differently of cousre.
