It happened in the beginning. Brennan walks in to "their" apartment and she wakes him up and then sex happens. I liked this episode because I giggled like a little girl every time that Booth called Brennan his wife. And her pregnancy made me happy and then it all went to hell when he woke up and didn't remember who she was. She looked so upset when she told him that he had been in a coma for 4 days. What is going to happen next season? I did love that Booth got to punch his brother. That made me all kinds of happy.

OK, I'm 35 minutes into the finale and... well, is anyone else annoyed that they decided to pull one of these episodes for the finale? Yeah, there have been some amusing things/references to the normal show but...?

Sorry, but this show is turning out to be a major disappointment to me. Pfffft.

Okay, I'm peeved! The writers said this wouldn't be a fantasy and it would be real. But, it was a story she was writing? Then at the end she deletes and then Booth wakes up and doesn't remember who he is? Um... please... that is such a stupid annoying soap opera like cliched storyline. Complete and utter blarney. I'm sick of the whole being lied to by writers. I bet this one is gonna get a lot of angry mail this summer. Ugh.

I had a hard time enjoying the ep cause I was so mad at being lied to. It's a shame really cause it might have been a funny ep if they hadn't lied about it. I mean, Sweets a bartender? Wendell the security guy? Vince DJ. Zack... well, it was nice to see him interact with all the people who are vying for his job. But still... And I liked Daisy better in this story, she wasn't as annoying.

Sweets has a pretty nice voice.

    But, I'm still peeved!

I'm so mad I may decide not to watch the show next season!

In the words of Zack Addy: That was anti-climactic.

Sooooo....what the heck? That was definitely far beyond weird. Entertaining in a way, but definitely weird. I can't say that I'm surprised that it was all a fantasy/dream/whatever-the-writers-think-they're-calling-it. But really, they could have just told us the truth and it would have been just fine. I'm pretty sure everyone would have been just fine with it (well, maybe). But still...bleh.

I guess it was just the writers' way of giving us what we want without actually giving us what we want.

I was surprised at Sweets' voice. But it was a good surprise. And I think that he and Daisy are kinda cute (although she is super annoying unless she's with him). The fact that he was a bartender was hilarious.

The whole pregnancy was adorable! Too bad it was a freakin' fantasy. But Booth's face was so cute when she told him. Loved that.

Does anyone know who did the narrating? My brother and I were debating between Sweets and Hodgins. Or was it someone completely different?

To be honest, I don't know if this is an episode I would have any interest in ever watching again. It was just... not really a good season finale. I knew that it was some sort of thing to do with Booth's imagination from the surgery but I didn't expect it to last the whole episode.

^^^ Yes, exactly. Maybe the first 5. or even 15 minutes, but the WHOLE episode? Meh.

I don't do spoilers so I didn't have a clue, but wow... I was totally disappointed. I think that was a huge miscalculation after a season that had such a so-so first half.

It was Hodgins narrating the story cause in it, he was supposed to be a writer (instead of Brennan being the writer). But, really at the end it looked like it was Brennan that was writing that whole story that we saw played out. I don't think it was Booth's dream.

Yes, exactly. I would have been fine with it if we'd been told upfront that it was gonna be a fantasy/one of her stories type of deal. It's the fact that we were LIED to that pisses me off.

And I kinda like all the new med students (other than Daisy). Can we keep them all?

I too was annoyed with the ending, but considering some of the other ways some of my favorite series ended their seasons...? I'm damn happy with what I got. CSI: Miami (which doesn't air until Monday) is going to suck, for the simple fact those bastards are going to leave us on a major cliffhanger, CSI: NY - need I go on? Supernatural? Hell in a handbasket people. hell in a handbasket. And I don't think this memory BS will last past one episode next year. And as for the 'sex-that-wasn't-sex', WTF! Although my shipper heart squeed at the end when Brennan realized the depth of her feelings for booth when she was writing that story or whatever. Although, unlike some, I don't think she was the 'writer' of that story. I think it did happen in Booth's head, but those last few lines before he woke up that she erased were her thoughts and feelings about Booth/life etc.

I didn't really like this as a finale, kind of like I didn't like CSI's finale as a finale. It was a good episode (and, unlike CSI, actually had a form of a cliffhanger), but it just seemed kind of off-beat as a finale.

I did laugh a lot. One of the things that made me crack up was when we saw that the episode was a story Brennan was writing. Why?

"Oh my God, Brennan is writing B&B fanfiction!"

While watching I was so angry that there was steam coming out my eyeballs. The writers promised us that B/B would get together. They promised it wasn't a dream or hallucination. And what did we get....? A freakin dream.

Honestly, I would have loved the episode if it had been in another part of the season. This would fanastically funny and creative if it were a mid-season episode. But for a finale? Junk.

This was such a cop-out on the writers part and I am very upset by it. Oh and they're little "cliffhanger" at the end? What was up with that? Amnesia is such a cliched storyline. Seriously writers, you can do way better than this.

Well, it wasn't really a dream...it was Brennan's story. But I see what you mean. I DONT want them to get togther, at least not in only the 4th season. I was thinking that it would be a dream or something. I figured that the writers were giving fans what they want (B & B having sex) but not REALLY having sex. I was alright with this. But COME ON! I was hoping for some throw down, hot and steamy sex! We got like 30 seconds! What we saw in the promo was bascially what we got! I was thinking that if they were going to do it in a dream, at least let it be good. I'm not talking trashy porn, but I would like some more kissing and maybe some hot and heavy breathing, or rolling around in bed together. I think that it is too early for them to really get together. I'm thinking the finale season (when ever that may be). It's always scary when the main characters get together as to whether or not it will cause ratings to drop. I think a lot of people tune in not just for the storylines, but for the sexual tension between B&B. I've liked Calleigh & Eric as a would-be couple since the first episode of CSI Miami, but I also didn't want them to get together because I liked the tension, the flirting, and friendship between them. I think the writers waiting 7 seasons made the right decision. It is the right time for them. It is not the right time for B&B!

With that said, I did like the end of the episode with the cliffhanger. I think that this episode is going to draw a lot of debate!

See, I don't read spoilers, so I had no expectations other than a great episode- something along the lines of the quality that we've been seeing the second half of this season. I really don't like these fantasy episodes because it's like watching an entirely different type of show... and if I wanted to watch an entirely different type of show, I wouldn't be watching this one!

Anyway, the only part I did like was the very end. Yeah, the memory loss thing has been done, but whatever. Like someone else said, I doubt that'll go past an episode. Maybe two. Or maybe they'll have Booth say "Just kidding" at the start of the season opener!

^I'm with you on this one. I didn't get what was going on at first. I was like :wtf:. For a season finale it was very disappointing. The best part was indeed the last scene.

Booth and Brennan together in bed was really hyped, yes I'm a spoiler junkie, and was a let down. It was weird seeing them together like that when I realized it wasn't 'real'.

I don't read spoilers, so I had no idea what to expect from this one. I think it was a good episode, not great though. It would have been better as a mid-season episode. I did love that everyone was there, including Zack.

I was horrified at the beginning. I do not want Booth and Brennan to 'hook up'. Yes, I'm probably one of the very few who think that, but it would just be awful to me. I don't want their relationship to change.

I also believe that the amnesia think won't last past an episode or two.

So, the episode had it's good points and bad, but was rather anti-climactic as a finale.

It definately sounded like Hodgins, and it would make sense with him being the writer and all. However, Brennan's story typing at the end, writing Hodgins' words implies that she was writing a story he was narrarating. While at the same time, Booth was having a dream which we are lead to believe was what Brennan/Hodgins wrote! I'm so confused!

I agree witht that first sentiment. At the very least, they could have said nothing.
Sorry, I'm still voting for Wendall!

That's an interesting perspective I had not considered. I wonder if she'll make some remark to Angela along those lines in the premiere?

I agree. They should've had an in-character, high-drama danger-filled eppy for a finale. and while I liked the episode, I don't think it should've been the finale.
Now B&B fanfics are something I want to see. Anyone got a link?

I agree with the first point, but disagree on the latter. There's a reason cliches are cliches, and, excepting this last episode, the writers are usually got at creative and original storylines.

    Amen to that!

No spoilers! I keep trying, but I can never wean myself off them.
Now that would be a letdown!

Does anyone else wonder what will come of Hodgins' ill-timed proposition? Personally, I think they never should've broken up in the first place.
