I thought that too! But I was told by my biology friend that there is something that is different between Indians and the rest of Asia. I couldn't understand but it has something to do with genetics.
Oh and I loved the emo intern, but I just preferred Wendell or Clark at this point. I hope we get a girl intern who isn't as creepy as the other one.
I liked Wendell and the older guy too, but Fisher (all though he was so negative some of the time) was kind of neat in some ways. The black nail polish though, totally wrong for him.
My thoughts on the ep as I wrote them down while watching (I watched today instead of Wednesday):
 at Brennan's offer to fire Hodgins and then her grin when Angela left after telling her she'd helped.
Cam's note for Booth was funny!
Hodgins: Go away, Fisher!
"In the hive I would be the queen bee."- Brennan
"I'm gonna be the king bee in my department."- Booth
"There's no such thing as a king bee."- Brennan :guffaw:
 The boss guy at that office place was so clueless.
Sweets and Angela's scene kind of made me laugh. Her taking his fries. "You're good." haha, he didn't even do anything.
Did anyone else crack up when Booth was talking about a co-worker and called him a "boob"?
Cam calling Fisher "Eeyore" was hysterical!
The woman was killed by a staple? Huh?
Oh, okay, brain aneurysm. Makes sense now.
"Is this enough adrenaline for you?"
I like that one girl's blue nail polish. It looked blue-green/aqua-like on my screen. Wonder what shade it is and where I can find it. She sure was over-doing that crying though.
*squeeek* that's the sound of me trying to creep in the door unnoticed. It feels like an age since I came in here (I decided against it until I'd watched the first few eps. So here I am back again!
I'm a bit sick of the different grad student every week thing. But Wendell was ok, I liked Clark though, he could have stayed, no reason for grad students...
Brennan is so funny in the way she is generally. About firing Hodgins, made me really giggle.
I think that the premiere was absolutely hilarious, although the case wasn't great, the eps were highly entertaining. Since then, I've really enjoyed all the eps.
And hopefully I'll keep up and be in here more often again
I liked the British guy in tonight's ep. He made me laugh. They weren't very nice to him. Seems like Hodgins is being a little cold to every new intern cause he misses Zack. So far I think I liked all of the interns except for hyper girl.
Bones has been kind of disappointing me lately. The only redeeming quality is the amazingness and hotness of Booth and Brennan. I was a bit peeved with how the writers handled the religion issue in this episode. I loved how they did it in the first season when Booth was struggling with his past in the military episode. This one just didn't sit right with me.
With the exception of the girl and last night's intern, I liked them all but want to see either Clark or Wendell more
Yeah, another so-so episode... The intern was incredibly annoying. I really think the problem is the cases themselves- they need a little more snap to them or something. It's weird, but I've found the last 2 episodes strangely anti-climactic.
Anyway, it wasn't terrible or anything. I guess I've just come to expect a little more from the show.
Have to admit being underwhelmed by this one, and the handling of the religious/faith aspects actually really bothered me. It felt a bit slanted and I'm not used to that from Bones.
So far, this season is in no way living up to past seasons, and I'm finding myself more and more JUST looking forward to Booth/Bones interactions and bits of the cases... which is not a good sign for me for my interests in a show. Once I'm only watching for the ship, I usually stop watching soon after.
What hooked me on this show was the first ep I saw: the Season 1 finale. It had punch. It had bits of shippiness, but mostly it had a great team of characters I could get behind. Hodgins IMMEDIATELY became my fav character. Angela was my least back in the day...
Anyway, Season 3 I worried because it felt like they were pushing things a bit far ship-wise (I like to be slowly tortured til the end on those), but the writer's strike forced a short season and season 3 is actually my FAV. So far, this season might be one I buy the same way I did Season 2: When I spotted it on SUPER sale and couldn't justify NOT getting it because I knew I loved Season 3 sooo much.
The episodes lately seem to be relying heavily on Booth/Bones chemistry, but I miss Bones being in THE LAB. I miss that so much. I actually miss Bones/Angela conversations. And, darnit, I still miss Wong Foos!
I thougt the episode was better than last week. I didn't like how they handled the issue of sex-change and religion, made me uncomfortable, since it's a little too close to heart. The religion, not the sex change
The case aside I thought it was pretty good. I liked that there were subtle inferences about Booth's past as a sniper and gambler.
Cracked up when Cam tried to kiss her own elbow  And Brennan saying she'll "aim Booth in the right direction" and he was like "what like a hose?"
And the last line when Brennan said what she learnt was "always swim with a buddy!"
I have to agree though on the fact that Bren and Booth hotter with each episode. But I also agree that season 3 is my fave so far. I also agree I miss the diner scenes from season 3, with B&B. But I'm a CSI:Miami fan, and have you guys seen it lately? Compared to Miami, Bones is still miles better in terms of continuity and writing. So I guess with Bones, my tolerance for so-so episodes is really high.
Honestly, they can't have spectacular cases every week, I'm hoping there'll be a Halloween episode. What's next week's episode about?
I think they're probably reserving the big storylines for later, like
like Booth's brother, the Gravedigger and B&B naked in bed for later on in the season.
Anyone else want to talk about Kathy Reichs' latest book Devil Bones? It's much better than the previous one, but the minute I read what the case was about, I thought of the episode in season 1 with Brennan and voodoo in New Orleans (I forgot the episode name).
Bones is a repeat next week cause the political debates are on an hour after Bones goes off. Why they couldn't air a new ep though is beyond me. The Tv guide says it's something about a motorcyclist.
Bones is actually off the air till November because of the Presidential Debate along with the World Series. Happens every year and it annoys me. *sigh*
