damn, the Cubs/Cardinals game my friend taped for me didn't work :( :( I know that she taped it, but the disc still says that it's blank and nothing shows up...

That sucks, I was so excited about seeing it :(
 
I like the Red Sox. I like a lot of teams. I'm a true Cubs fan, but I like baseball, so I watch a lot a teams. The only team I can't stand is the uh, Yankees. :D

Is Andruw Jones going to get traded?
 
Well, that game that my friend taped for me actually did work...it was the Cubs/Cardinals game from last week on Saturday afternoon at Wrigley Field. It was a really good game (well, I'm only halfway through). And it had a bit of the Mets game on the start.
But I think it's sad that they were commenting on the Cubs not resigning Maddux and then he got traded the next day...from what I can see and what I read, he's a really good pitcher...

And I don't really hate any teams...thats the price of growing up in Australia, theres no baseball on except on pay-TV, so I can only see a few games a year. But I really like the Cubs (I don't really know why - I just do :)), so I'm happy when I check the stats and see that they've won. :D
 
That was a great game last night between the White Sox and the Yankees. I love it when the Yankees loose. :)

The Dodgers won again? I was watching it through the 6th inning. The Rockies were winning then. I had to keep flipping back to the Cards/Reds game. Such a joy to see the evil Cardinals go down.

Those Cubbies whupped the Miller boys!

carlz31 have you tried MLBTV.com? It's really not that expensive if you consider all the games you could watch.
 
Diehard Yanks fan here! I used to watch on TV with my dad since as far back as I remember. We don't get many Yanks games aired here tho. :( Hubby is a Twins fan & my sister is a Braves fan so we get into some lively discussions!

Right on! Who was it that the Red Sox lost to last night? The Royals! At least the Yankees lost to the reigning World Series Champs. Am and always will be a Yankees fan. :D
 
yeah, I did try that, but I'd have to talk to my parents about it, and I don't think they'd let me :(

Well, I decided that I'm going to see if I can get the Dodgers game taped tomorrow...

and since I'm probably already testing my friends patience, I'll only get that game and one more Cubbies game later in the year...or possibly next week, whenever it is broadcast over here...
 
Yes! Yankees won, Red Sox lost. But I won't gloat because that behavior is beneath me. Wait, no it's not. *does a crazy dance* Yankees won, Red Sox lost, neener neener neener. :p
 
Wow, I saw that the Dodgers won again...whats that, 12 in a row? Haha, and I get excited when the footy team I support wins 7 in a row...but they only play once a week ;)

and awww, the Cubbies didn't win :(
 
Nope Dodgers streak got broke at 11. Guess they'll just have to start a new one huh. Anyways, mwahahaha Red Sox got swept by the Royals.
 
Ah, I see, I must've missed the game before the one that I saw...well, 11 is still pretty impressive

And I figured out that I can buy full games off MLB.com to watch on my computer...YAY!
