My folks and friends know about my shippiness obsession they know about me visiting the forums and making MV's
Almost Everyone I know knows I'm obsessed with the show, only my roommate knows I'm a shipper though mostly because I'm screaming at the t.v whenever anything that would hurt the chances of my ship happening occurs. But it's not because I'm a shamed just because I don't know alot of people that would know what I was talking about So I guess I've got one foot out of the closet
Let's see... My aunt and some of my friends know I'm into fandom. They also know that I write fan fiction, and yes, some know that I write slash. I don't know that I've discussed the specifics of who I ship on CSI, though. Many know about my deep, abiding affection for George Eads.
The only person that really and truly knows about the time I spend on forums and my ships and stuff is my sister. My parents only know how much I love the show, but that's it. No one else besides them has any idea.
some of my friends know about it. and funny thing is when they find out they start opening up about their ships (teehee, there are more shippers than you think, they just don't know they are until you bring it up)
Well, my mom, dad and sisters definately know that I'm shipping. I show them my drawings, icons and other artwork. I know one of my friends knows, and he doesn't have a problem with it. I don't know if my other friends know, but I'm not making my ship a secret.
in, deffinately, lol, like none of my friends watch csi or anything and im like... U FREAKS!!! but my mum n dad do, but they have no idea about how crazy a shipper i am, lol. they dont even care they just like the show. but my mum does know that i like sara n nick but she just thinking i like them coz they both hot, haha, but she has nooooooo idea!
My friends, I have only told MAYBE a couple about what fanfiction (the majority of them are not so fanatical about this stuff as me). And I have never given them the fanfiction I have written myself to read. They do know how fanatical I get over shows and couples but not to the sheer extreme. I don't know about anyone else, but I would be mortified if my friends found out how crazy I really was (especially for CSI).
none of my mates know what fanfic is, nor my parents, lol, i like having an online little world where people are the same as me, rather then my mates thinking im odd, LOL
As far as shipping and fanfiction go, I'm in the closet with my family. My close friends are pretty much in the know, whereas with friends that are more like acquaintances it doesn't tend to come up in conversation. As for coming on to this site in general, yeah, I'm open about that to pretty much anyone.
Both my family and friends know I am deeply in love with the show. My family doesn't know about my writings, though. My friends on the other hand have all become addicted to CSI with me (I made them watch Spike reruns and my DVDs). Most of them know that I write in general and about half know I write fanfiction. Only about six know who I ship, (though, I'm pretty obvious about it, but most of them don't even know what "shipping" is, so only if they ask will I tell), and only two or three ever read anything I write. But that's mostly because I don't want to scare them away with the porn.
Everyone knows I like CSI and everyone at school kinda makes fun of me so I dont show anyone any of my works. I feel that only people who will apperestate my work can see it.
My friends and family definately know about this site and my love for it and the shows... although my Dad has the idea that I want to be a cop. I try and introduce anyone I can to the CSI shows and have actually gotten a lot of people hooked.
