Lindsay smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. She looked at his bouncing knee, wondering what was going through his mind right now. She decided to do something about it, so she took a deep, relaxing breath and climbed into Danny's lap, causing his leg to stop. "There, that's better." she said with a smile as she rested her head on his chest and cuddled into him.

Danny raised a brow when she crawled onto his lap, realizing his knee probably drove her nuts. He shifted a little till his ribs stopped screaming at him and he was in a comfortable position. "Ya could have just said somethin'.." he said with a light chuckle.

Lindsay smiled a bit. He was right, she could have just easily said something, but she found it a lot better to do it this way. "Yeah, I could have, but I think this works better for both of us." she said with a smile. "I love you Danny, so much." she said.

The whole thing seemed to last an eternity, and Mac was very nervous waiting for it to finish. When the two tests were finally over, he was taken back to the room with the others.
"It'll take a few minutes to review the results, and the doctor will then come to speak with you about them." the nurse told him. Mac nodded. He just wanted them to decode the results and finish already.

"I'm not sure yet. But I'll be glad when they come to tell me" Mac replied. "Not too crazy about the tubes they put you in on those test machines either...feel too much like coffins or something. I'm not claustrophobic, but it's still a little wierd."

"Good point" Mac nodded. "The MRI at least. I'm glad I don't have any leftover bullet fragments anywhere." He also noted how Danny and Lindsey were interacting, and said nothing aloud but was glad the problem seemed solved.
