"It's okay Danny, I'm up anyway." she said as she closed the door behind him, just wanting to spill the truth right now. She didn't feel like herself, and now she was nervous around him.
Lindsay had a look of guilt and sadness in her eyes. They were filled with tears that were pouring down her face. "I.....I made out with another man." Lindsay confessed. "I'm so stupid." she said to herself.
Lindsay looked into his eyes, searching for any hint of anger in them. "I don't know why, I was being stupid, I wasn't thinking and Flack's eyes were just so enticing......" she said quickly. "I'm so sorry."
"You made out with Flack?.." Danny said slowly, one of his eyebrows raising a bit. "What happened? Did he get drunk or somethin'?" Danny felt his anger level rising but he didn't blow up. He wasn't about to do something he would regret later.
Lindsay shook her head. "It wasn't his fault Danny, I wanted him to tell me a secret, and it just escalated. I was going to go farther, but I couldn't. Every time I kissed him, I saw you." she told him. "Because I love you."
Adam had finished the DNA up finally. It was rush, so he had to stay and work over time. He walked into the break room where Jane was patiently waiting. "Ready to go?" he asked.
"Yes." She said and they headed out the door."
(Wow I get to do a whole dating thing on my own, kind of weird. I had to post, needed to do something)
Danny let one of his hands drop back to his side, his other staying on her cheek. He gently brushed the tears away with his thumb, smiling softly to her. "I'm glad ya told me instead of leavin' me to find out the hard way," Danny finally said after a quiet minute.
Lindsay breathed out a sigh of relief. "Oh my God." she siad lightly. "I was so afraid you were going to leave me." she said as she wrapped her arms around him. She really was expecting him to just leave her, and she was really surprised he was taking it well, or as well as she could have hoped. "I love you Danny." she wispered to him as more tears pourned down her face.
Danny smiled weakly. Saying that he was okay with it all was a bit of an understatement. He wasn't all too happy with it, but it was better than having Flack come up to him and tell him after. Danny gently wiped Lindsay's tears away, keeping silent for a little while longer. "I love you too," he replied."
