First a big warm welcome to CSI_NY_Addict and adorelo :D - It's great to see some new people in here! :)

Well there's explaining something with just the facts and then there's the imo great way that Lindsay does it. :) She is really thorough in her investigations and comes up with all those little extra details (like with the starfish and that flower) and then when she has to tell others she makes a little story and show of it to quickly explain what she has found out in hours of investigation :eek: - and she is clearly proud of her achievements and like Stella said: "It's always worth it" :)

So those lectures have never annoyed me, but I'm always enjoying them a lot.

And to start a new (friendly ? ;)) discussion:

Why do you guys think Lindsay spends so much time in the lab and not at the crime scenes, arresting people or interrogation people like she did before?

is not going to help make things more peaceful in the forum. Making comments like "I went in nicely, but I expect them to throw things at me!" is really just incendiary. And given that we're all going trying to make an effort to make things more peaceful, I'm going to have a lot less tolerance for such comments. So please, stay on topic and do not discuss other posters in the forum.

Back on topic about Lindsay, please. I for one am glad to see she's been more light-hearted this season. That's definitely the incarnation of the character that I enjoy the most.

She has that face and that smile that lights up a room. She plays the emotional stuff well too, but she suits the happiness. Ok, that sounded really strange. :lol:

Hey sandra... Well I thought that with Anna's daughter still not 1! She's still only staying at home with the family and everything instead of going to Newyork! But im sure that we'll see Lindsay back on the streets of NY catching the bad guys as the seaon progreses :)

I've seen some pictures posted taken of her in New York when they were filming there, so she definately did go out with the rest of the cast. :)

Maybe she just hasn't been involved so far this season, it's possible that TPTB have more planned for her later on.

She is definately out of the lab in 406 (Boo). In fact she's way out of the lab in that one. It seems like there will be lots of Lindsay in Boo. And the pictures that I've seen were from 'Commuted Sentences' (407 maybe?) and she was out filming outside a museum in Manhattan.

Ever since she came back from her maternity leave I have the feeling that she perhaps had her contract altered or something and is working part-time now.

It still seems strange to me that someone who's suppose to be one of the CSI's has only been seen working in the lab (apart from that little scene at the beginning of YODO) in the first 4 eps. :confused:

But maybe TPTB do have some other story line for her in mind or are still trying to think of one...I just hope it's not some other 'dark secret' and if it is that it will be more believable this time.

And the spoilers for those ep's sound promosing and I'm really looking forward to ep 4x06! :)
 
I really do not know what i'll do if there's another 'dark secret/surprise' around the corner for her!! But I do know that TPTB will have me to deal with!!!

as for your question Dutch, I have no idea. maybe after being away so long they are having her start out easy or she must pass some tests - e.g. to be able to carry a gun again or something like that. maybe they address it later on

on a little different topic - why is there so little pics of Anna/Lindsay. I know she was pregnat but there are hardly any pics of her online and most of them are pre-NY. I really hope for some nice photoshoot - NY realted or not

I have a couple in my photobucket, someone originally posted them on their blog. I've marked them as spoilerish but they don't give anything away. It's just in between filming scenes for an upcoming episode. :)

hey all...thought I would stop by.. :)

I've seen the 3 first epis of season 4 and I've enjoyed Anna/Lindsay in them.. she seems to be back to the spunky and fun Lindsay we saw in season 2. I love the "condom spray" scene and their cute "car" talk and also the cute scene at the elevator. Loved her smile in that one, like she just gotten something cool to check out.

She did great with the drama scenes in season 3.. but it got so much at the end I was wishing for the spunky side to come back out and I'm glad to see that spirit back in season 4 and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her.

Why she haven't been out of the lab much.. hrmm don't know. maybe at the moment she is taking it a little easier to have a little more time to spend with her daughter, and once the season progresses she starts to pick up as they move along.

Elsie Loved the pics you posted with Carmine & Anna from the epi...
 
^ Nina I agree that she handled the drama in season 3 well, but I still feel like some things should've been addressed more - the whole story felt rushed and that left quite a few questions unanswered (like Daniel Katum's motive and Lindsay's hestistance to share her feelings).

So perhaps some events from season 3 will become part of Lindsay's story in season 4; like Carly said, she could be scared to use her gun and gets some therapy for that?

Elsie I had seen those pics before, but couldn't remember where, so txs for those and you're right...especially #2 is drool-worthy :D
 
Personally, I think it's a mixture of Anna's own wishes and TPTB that has her in the lab all the time. As some people have mentioned, her child is not even a year old yet, so I can see her maybe not wanting her character to go out in the field just yet so she's near her daughter. Also, I guess TPTB feel that at the moment Lindsay really isn't needed in the "field" scenes. I think we will be seeing more of her in future episodes, but for now she's just taking 'er easy ;)

Anna is a private person ;) but it would be nice to see more promo pictures of Lindsay. Seems like all we're getting is Mac and Stella with a side of Flack or Adam - which is fine, but there are other characters on the show ;)
