Anna/Lindsay #5: She Rocks!

Well I don't want to see family drama...like what was mentioned a million times before...just some words in passing! We get that all the time for Danny and Stella, why not Lindsay?

Wonder why Mac is so caring and protective over Lindsay? This is something I have always pondered in regards to these two. He seems more protective of her and watches out for her. I will go as far to say more protective of her than Danny is of her...and I say this as a DL shipper :p

I don't want to see a load of family drama either, but they seem to start something for Lindsay but never finish it or it doesn't quite come across as it were. I think if the dropped in the odd line like I suggested below may we wouldn't have as many questions.

I have often thought that Mac was very protective of her as well Plus he did know all about her friend shooting when Stella didn't. I know that it would most likely be on her file but still - it does make you wonder. Jusr an off the cuff thought maybe they are related some way but Lindsay doesn't know. Or maybe he is bast mates with her old supervisor.

Finishing a storyline for Lindsay would be nice. In a way the writers still left a lot open in regards to her tragic past. And there were plenty of opportunities for the writers to finish it as well.

Maybe because Mac was aware of her past is why he acts a little more protective of her. And he also can be taking from his own tragic past. Maybe? Dear Lord, these NY characters have way to much angst! *sigh*

Oh, I haven't seen it, what was her role in the episode? I must see if I can find a way to watch it, (usually don't watch Law and Order and the spin offs) but I would love to see her in it ;)

She plays a woman who was previously kidnapped and tortured by the serial killer that the team are trying to apprehend. It's a small role, but I'd say that it's worth seeing if you can. :)

Thanks for the information...serial killers...*shivers* Sometimes I wonder why I watch this stuff :p Now I need to find a way to see this episode.

Oh Meg and LME, I agree with what you said, it also really bugs that the writers never finish what they start concerning Lindsay... They always start something, but it's just left... I find that really annoying, it doesn't really happen much with any other character...

I also agree with what's been said about Mac being protective over her, that's sweet, he's protective of his whole team, he's kinda like the father figure of the team. :adore:

Well writers do love to annoy us that is for sure. Why can't they just finish a thought for her stories? It's like they have ADD when it comes to Lindsay...Oh! Look another angsty death story line for Danny! Wait did we finish Lindsay's angst...oh the fans won't care (nor will they remember) lets do another pity story for Mac! :brickwall: Someone should tell the writers that if they are going to start on something it would be much appreciated if they would finish THE DAMN THOUGHT! *sigh*

Agree with you on that. I would so like them to actually finish a storyline for her properly.

Although the story with her has a kid was good, I do think that it was picked up and droped to many times to make total sense. It was very much in 1 episode and not mentioned again for 3, 4 or 5 episodes, with the 333 killer is was mentioned (even if is was only very slightly) in every episode until the actual episode - perhaps they learnt there lesson. We will see!

Please writers, give Lindsay a good story line and see it through properly!

No I do not want to see Lindsay with a kid! Working with a kid? And seeing how it affects her is fine but pregnant with one NO!

Which episode are you thinking that she might have a kid? I don't recall that at all

I obviously took my stupid pills this morning. Not she had a kid, when she was a kid and her friends were killed. To me that whole story line was very bitty as it was like on/off on/off where 333 was continous

Oh...nah you are fine  I just woke up, 8 30 in the morning here ;)

Ya that story had potential for such goodness and what does the producers and writers do with it? Nothing, nada, zip!

I'd be curious to see the reasons behind this, too. He's a lot harder on everyone else than he is on Lindsay. Is it a paternal thing? Is it because of her friends' deaths? I'd like to know, because I think anyone else would have gotten chewed out big time for leaving evidence unattended while the lab was being evaluated. Anyone have any theories as to why Mac is protective of her?

Well now that I know about the 333 killer being a childhood acquaintance of Mac, maybe he knows what it is like to see a killer at a young age and to be traumatized by it? I think he knows EXACTLY what Lindsay is going through and wants to be there for her in the way he wasn't able to be in his youth. That is my best guess...

Maybe he is just a caring guy?

That is a good point. I hadn't thought of that before. Maybe he does know what it feels like and perhaps he understands her motivation for becoming a CSI like he did. I think that out of all of them he can understand the mental and emotional pain and scars that something like that gives you.

I was surprised that only Mac knew of her past, I don't know why but I would have thought Stella would have known as well.

I agree with both of you Meg and LME, I think that Mac knows what it's like to deal with all that's she's had to deal with, and therefore feels that he should be there for her, I also think that it's because he's such a sweet and caring guy, like I've said before, he's like the father figure of the team, again, another reason why he's there for her...

LME, I was also suprised that Mac knew about her past and Stella didn't, I just imagined that she would have spoke to Stella about it, maybe because she's a woman... I dunno, it just kinds suprised me... Ok, I'm going to stop rambling now...
