Alex was in Revenge again recently and i've added some screenshots of his role in 'Look Again' with Morena Baccarin (Homeland) he had a good amount of screentime so it's worth checking out if you can:

With the end of the Cath/Vartann relationship, Alex has less screentime on CSI so i'll be interested to see whether he returns next season or goes AWOL like in seasons 7 and 8.

Oh...the relationship with Catherine finished.
However, he will surely appear also on the next season.
