Adrien Brody

Some AB news has come in over the weekend I'd like to share. Apparently the official movie poster for the film 'Hollywoodland' has been released. I know some people are upset that Adrien's face isn't on it (mainly because he has gotten top billing) but I really don't have a problem with it. Diane Lane's a beaut anyhow:

This is one I found today!(I don't know he wouldin the movie if I didn't read the cast...just lucky!...but the movie, it confuses me a bit... If I didn't make a mistake, I once read comments saying it's anti-Japnese, but I didn't say how...) :rolleyes: :confused:

Err, Hummer, you won't have problem to recall the movie's name, right? *could give you time to recall* :lol:

I like the first banner, it's more like the guy I know, with sweet smiles... :lol: :lol: :lol:

The name of that movie is 'The Thin Red Line'. I originally watched it for Sean Penn (big fan of his) but fell in love with AB. He was just so delicate and very expressive with his eyes.

I remember reading an article not, long after I watched it, where Adrien was quoted as saying the screenwriter had him a whole load of lines but later the director cut a lot of them out saying,
"He doesn't need to say those with his mouth, he can say them with his eyes. Such expressive eyes." I totally agree that his eyes are super expressive but that voice...we need to hear it!

I got his movie "jacket" last night and cut my sleep to watch through. I like the movie..it's kinda similiar to "Butterfly Effect"...both are talking about "ghost" haunting...That's extraodinary! I sometimes suspect if it is true? :lol: :lol:

BTW, my friend said she might has one movie about AB...She would check it for me...Hope I am lucky! :D
 
Hummer thanks for posting this sweet AB pics. after i finish rewatching all DC movies, seriously start to think to see some AB films thats i have miss. :p

as i see lantiscod have already see 'the jacket" :D OMG i love this movie - love this type story line. AB there is cool :D how can`t i love him ?! :lol: and 'thin red line' is very very good movie not only coz of the star cast there :p hope lantiscod to have chance and to see more AB filsm :p

I was flipping through channels last night and found that they were talking about AB's new movie Hollywoodland on Entertainment Tonight (it's sceduled for a Sep.8th theater premiere). Some pics from that segment:

Yes, Pusher I've watched the jacket! :lol: I LOVE THAT MOVIE! Most of the time, I 'll check both the cover, the summery and the cast(if I know any) before I buy a movie...As you know, the cover sometimes could stands much than the summary... For the jacket, I cannot say I like its cover, (it just seems to me that it won't suit my taste), but AB is in the cast...So I think it won't be bad, and I bought it...and I do love that movie... You know, the worst part is not you bought a bad movie; it is you spend about two hours(sometimes three hrs) in watching a useless movie! That's why some actors/actresses who could trust, as we know they have a taste for their roles...right?! :lol: It's the same to AB! :lol:

Hummer, my frined will check through her stuff this weekend, I don't know how many she could get for me... The only thing I am thinking is--the more the best! :lol: :lol: Oh, about the Hollywoodland, why Ab is checking a DB?(in Pic1) :confused: Just for curiouse? :rolleyes: :lol: :lol:
 
I hope you get a bunch of movies, lantiscod. More is certainly better! What AB movies have you seen already?

As for Adrien in pic number one he's checking the body (suppose to be that of tv superman played by Ben Affleck) he's a detective investigating his, the tv superman that is, death. Gah, just the thought of AB playing a detective makes me happy! :D

So far, I've watched...(let me count): Village, Pianist, Kingkong(though I don't like the movie in totally, I just think AB acts perfect), Jacket, and Red thin Line. He expresses all the roles above perfect and kind of fresh. :lol:

With the release of ‘Superman Returns’, ‘Hollywoodland’ is finally allowed to come out of hiding. The trailer is out at movie theaters (typically during showings of ‘Superman Returns’).

as i see u have luck to see the best AB movies (MOA). i too agree with u for 'Kingkong' - too long and too drag in the time and the story. but AB wow make perfect his character there :D

I actually found a link to the 'ET' preview I was talking about of the 'Hollywoodland' trailer. PMing it to you and lantiscod now. :)

I too cannot wait for the release of this seemingly interesting 'Hollywoodland'. I'm actually optimistic. As is every movie AB is in, it's good for his performance.

My friend get me the movie oxygen... Have you two watched it before? I haven't read the summary yet, but she told me the story is worth watching... Well, I'll watch it later, and will get some pics for you... :lol: Just be waiting for a full time to watch through(you know interrupapted is boring)... :lol: :D
