While the dogs continued to Howl, they woke up the trip's and not knowing any better, they wandered downstairs, and let the dogs in. "Ewww....peeweee.....auuuuuuuuuuugh....nana, help nana, it stinks down here, the doggies smell". "Oh no....running downstairs, Stella smelt the skunk through the whole house. "King, Kong, get down, out now, I SAID OUT".
Running back out the door, Stella shut it, but it was to late, the whole house, including the kids clothes, smelled like skunk. Hearing the car pull into the driveway, Stella opened the door, causing Mac and Michale to gag. "Tell me you are kidding, tell me those damn dogs didn't get in here"?
"Sorry papa, I did it, they were crying, but I didn't know they had been sprayed by a skunk. "Okay...Stella take all the kids over to Michael's, get them cleaned up, leave all the clothes out the door, Michael and I will clean the dogs, and call a cleaning company". "I'm really sorry Mac". Kissing him good bye, she put the kids in the car, and took off down the street.
"Oh dad...this is really disgusting, I'm going to be sick". "Put on the mask son, and grab Kong first". Heading outside, Michael held Kong, while dad bathed him tomatoe juice, and a special skunk deodorizer, and after 10 cans of juice, and two bottles of shampoo, Kong only had a mild scent left on him. "Now what dad"? "Put him in the car, the back seat, till we get King done".
After King was cleaned, Mac called the cleaner's, who informed him , they would be there in the morning. "Locking up the house, turning on the alram, they headed over to Michael's. "What's going to happen dad if they can't get out the smell"? "I guess I'll sell the small house, and get a one bedroom apartment for mom and I, I mean it's only the two of us".
Pulling up in front of the house, Mac could smell the skunk all over the girls nightie's. "King, Kong, come". Running into the house, the first thing they seen was the two siamese cats, who began hissing and spitting at them. "Oh no....the cats, grab the cats, hurry". To late, as the dogs chased the cats, ornaments, lamps, pictures, tables, and other items got over turned or broke, as the kids giggled.
"BED NOW, ALL OF YOU, GET TO BED". Knowing daddy, and papa were mad, the kids ran up the stairs, jumped into bed, still giggling.
