Dead Ringer when he and Sara told Manny wife that she shot the wrong woman. The look on his face was incredible

"there is curves and then there is rolls"
although it was pretty mean and we all cringed when he said it, it wouldn't have been the same coming from anyone else

he was torn by the fact that cops died. Just the "he carries tin, that makes him family" line said it all
I think there was some internal conflict going on, then at the end when it was Manny wife who killed Patrica instead of Lydia, the look he gave her was .... Well ...JUST VARTANN

Iced was a good episode
I loved it when he said to Ecklie, "let's do it, yes, let's"
and when Vartann was at the crime scene and Ecklie was late
and he said
"crime scene is getting cold"

who had access to the morgue.
ROBBINS: Law enforcement personnel, (sighs) CSIs, paramedics, funeral home
personnel, maintenance workers, hospital workers, janitors ... people that get
lost in the building ...
DET. VARTANN: Yeah, that sounds good.
ROBBINS: Two pairs of socks, two pairs of underwear, two T-shirts.
DET. VARTANN: That tells me the guy was going to be staying in Vegas for two
days.
ROBBINS: Your powers of deduction are remarkable, detective.
DET. VARTANN: Thank you.

Just popped in to say - my favorite Vartann scene is the one with Catherine in Bang Bang, where they are at the Neon City Excursions office and come across the dead body, then have to clear the scene. It's nice to see him in action.
On an Alex note - I just caught the beginning of a movie with him on Lifetime. I think it was "guilt by association". I only had time to watch for a few minutes before running off to do other things. He does well in the "family" setting.

Guilt by Association with Mercedes Ruhl.
He played her boyfriend a *gasp* drug dealer and she got caught in the middle of the deal and went to jail.
It was more about her stuggle to clear her name... but he did look cute with her kids, especially on the boat.
