Oh, I love love LOVE "The Grove"!! One of my favourite places in the city so hopefully we can go there and either do some shopping or get something to eat/drink.

Well, if you go to the San Fernando Valley, you could film your own porn movie. At least, that's what all the news channels say when they do an "investigative report" (read: sweeps) on the porn industry. Apparently the Valley is the porn capital of the world.

Don't ask me...I just went to school down there, and kept my eyes on the road at all times.

Shane, Shaun White and Danny Kass didn't have a problem pulling chicks when they were underage. Just don't tell us about it, because we refuse to contribute to your delinquency. Plus, we'll have to act as the adults. Crap, MrsG, we're going to be parents for a few days!

It sounds like the Grove is a popular choice! If you guys are game, so am I. There's a Barnes & Noble there--that's my idea of heaven. :devil:

Porn store works too, but that will be one of those activities where we'll have to split the group up for two different choices.

Mt. Lee sounds good to me! I'm all for hiking and taking in the scenery because L.A. is beautiful.

Dynamo, there's no way to tell this far out if one of the CSI stars might be a guest on one of the talk shows. If we do want to try to get tickets for Leno or someone like that, we'd just have to pick a weekday and take our chances.

I'm still hoping to make it there, and will be bringing the husband along too. So don't worry Shane, there should be at least one other guy, you probably won't be able to understand him but never mind....you two can do 'guy' things whilst we all go to the strip club and porn shops, at least that's my plan. :devil:

I've missed so much fun. Haven't been here since Friday.
* Hiking, Mt. Lee, yeah, that's the one I suggested earlier that starts near Griffith Observatory. Sweet views.
* Shopping? The Grove is cool and sounds like it's a popular choice. However, for any retail lovers, you may be sadly disappointed if all you visit is a mall that features the same stores found in any suburban shopping mall. LA does have a lot of unique shopping areas.
* La Brea Tar Pits. Outside a crappy museum in a bad part of town. Looks like a black pond. Snoozefest. However, it's certainly easy to drive past and then get out for a closer peek if anyone is really interested.
* Kimmy mentioned Trashy. Ah yeah, the girl is fun! I'd highly reccommend a trip to Trashy Lingerie for those who are interested. :devil:
* Leno might be a good choice for a show taping. It tapes in Burbank, which is convenient to Hollywood. We'd have to do that on Friday, as it tapes during the week. I think it starts at 3pm or something like that. Once we have a definite headcount, I can contact NBC for group ticket info. You can just show up when the box office opens at 8am, but it's generally advisable to get tickets to tapings ahead of time.

^^You should probably start that little project now. :lol: I went to Conan O'Brien two years ago and we requested tickets in January and we didn't get to go till June. I'd assume that trying to get tickets to Leno would be even harder.

Good idea, lookaboomerang. I'll go back through this thread during this week and compile a list of yes's and maybe's for the trip, then I'll post here just to make sure I'm semi-accurate. Then I'll ad on a few extra tickets just to be sure and contact NBC.
