Loved the premiere for all the reasons you've mentioned, Wojo. The final Nick/Greg with the spider was awesome, they were adorkable together and seeing their interaction it was like having again the Nick/Greg moments from season 1-4. The good ol' times. The smile on his face, the way Nick looked at Greg in this scene say it all: beelikej has made a great analysis of this episode totally focussed on the Nick/Greg chemistry along with a wonderful-wonderful picspam. Thanks for doing it , beelikej (and thanks for my icon too) You can find it on the nickngreg livejournal communiy "Subtext is Everything": http://community.livejournal.com/nickngreg/1270693.html
hey shipper fans! long time no see! First off, wow, so new season of CSI started this week eh? I nearly fell of my chair from seeing a snipet of Greg and Nick arguing. What is your interpretaion of the events that caused them both to argue? I'm sure that at home both men argue their case. It was just odd seeing them bicker. After reading some of the posts- not all cause i've been away for ages, caught up in life, and other fandom- i was wondering that if the rumor of the spoiler mentioned previously will come true. After 10 years lol of two handsome men being "single" and now getting a love interest- c'mon beard much lol.
Odd, but terribly welcome (IMO at least ;D). Not that I don't love the flirty/ing scenes, because I do, but I liked seeing that bit of their relationship, whether it's romantic or platonic, come out on the show. Makes it look more... realistic, I want to say. Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't they fought the least out of the team members? Anyway, point being it's fun to see stuff like that; thrown in but not overtaking the entire crime-bit, because that's still the focus of the show.. the 'written between the lines' parts is what makes it interesting to watch. I think. N/G hasn't really ever been really ticked at each other (wait. Well, there was the bit in 'Stalker' where Greg did the.. newsletter article or whatever it was, but even that wasn't so much a fight as Greg being... adorable? Yes, let's go with that.) ANYWAY, their fight here was better. And somebody (here? or lj, I can't remember) said you could almost hear Nick's speech in there when Greg was talking to that officer about the hotel-room-guy..needing... well, whatever it was he said (what did he say...?), it sounded like it came straight from Nick. Haha, I could've taken the easy way out and said I completely agreed with you.
Okay here's a little tidbit from the latest episode I thought was interesting Spoiler: Ghost Town While checking the peep hole at the porn house, Nick (outside) grabs the coat hanger and pushes the curtain to the side. Looking through the peep hole he comments: "Yep, I can see everything" ( or something like that) As he says this, he's "peeping" at Greg (inside). Interesting.
I completely agree, that was very interesting and I loved the clever camera work in that scene as well. We got quite a bit of interaction between the boys, working the case together. Greg even congratulated Nick on being promoted to supervisor. "You deserve it" How sweet!
Oh, I've been such a bad Love fan! First of all WELCOME to all the new Love fans and WELCOME BACK to candygirl ! I've finally got my S9 DVDs today and will start with them on Sunday. Can't wait to finally get to see it and I'll probably will be around more often to comment on episodes . I've seen clips of the S10 premiere episode and the "fight" between Nick and Greg. I must admit I really liked it. Nick was completely right but I can understand Greg, too. Somehow he reminded me of Sara in After the Show (S4?). She, too, wanted that high-profile case. I completely agree with Wojo and suckerforasmile (good to have you back, too!). It gave their relationship some depths and I can imagine them talking about it afterwards (maybe at home?) or having had a similar conversation before. And how OMG was that last scene and Nick's smile???!!!! Absolutely loved it!!! :adore:
Welcome back, everyone¡ You can post your Nick/Greg fics on this site: Subtext is Everything http://community.livejournal.com/nickngreg It was nice to see Nick and Greg working together. I missed that. Very interesting indeed . Nick was watching the object of his desire through a peep hole in a porn house..... Great Nick/Greg subtext there. I can't wait to see the screen caps from this cool scene. And Greg mentioned Marilyn Manson! Who could forget Eric wearing a miniskirt  and necking MM in his video clip "S'aint"? Excuse me, I think I'm going to re-read rispacooper's "Submission Games".............
Here are a few caps from the episode. Here is the scene where Greg congratulated Nick on his promotion, you can see that Greg is proud of his boyfreind. And Nick takes the compliment with such modesty. And the scene where Nick peers through the peephole at Greg, I just loved this scene not just because of the subtext but because of the cleverness of the camera work itself.
Those caps are great, Wojo! Thanks for sharing. That's what I meant when I said this was a cool scene; we're seeing what Nick is seeing ....And that look on Greg's face knowing that Nick is watching him through the peep hole...well, that look says a lot of things I can easily imagine the writers creating this same scene for other pairings on the show: Warrick/Catherine, Hodges/Wendy or Grissom/Sara so it's not like we're seeing things. The subtext is clearly there.
*waves* : D No kidding. I think they would've gone a little deeper with it if it were Warrick and Catherine or Hodges and Wendy, but heh, well. Still. Soo~ I've forgotten how upbeat and optimistic n/g fans are, haha. When I watched Thursday's episode I kept thinking, 'wow, they're really... not...' well... I don't know the word I want to use here. I don't know. Not as. Argh! Close? Obvious? Err, I don't know, something along those lines. Anyway, my thoughts were (about the scene in the lab where Greg congratulates Nick) that it seemed really... distant. But, then I wander back to lj/here and find all the oh, goodness, clearly they had somebody to convince and realized either you're all crazy or I'm very pessimistic (and since fangirls are already crazy (meant only with love, of course!) I figured it had to be that I was pessimistic). It gave me a lot of angsty-back-story thoughts but then I realized I'm a bit sick of angst and decided I liked the optimistic version better C:
Oh I don't know about that suckerforasmile! I think they still share an intimacy, especially with their looks as seen below... And truth be told they might have gotten away from the first inital state of being crazy in love and are more comfortable now, not to say they take eachother for granted though! But they don't have to work so hard to make eachother understand how they feel about one another since they know...I hope y'all understand what I am trying to convey...? My man just made supervisor...yeah, he can supervise me anyday... We'll celebrate at home...yeah
"Ghost Town" just finished about 10 minutes ago here in Australia. All I have to say is that this season so far looks very promising for we fans of The Love. I absolutely adored their fight followed by the spider scene last week, and then this week the peep hole scene... There certainly is a lot of moments so far that have just overwhelmed me with plot bunnies for fan fiction, and hopefully they continue to give us so many moments and scenes for the rest of the season.
Hello all. Well in last night's episode we continued to see scenes with Nick and Greg working together.the two guys walking along. The guys working back to back. Such a team they are. And then Greg looking over Nick's shoulder. I also noticed the looks between them in the layout room. So far at least in each episode they have had scenes together which has been great. Hopefully it will continue on.
And some more caps from Working Stiffs. If you've been in the Ward you know why I have this! Trying to be mirror images of eachother. In the layout room. Susan
The only thing I liked about the episode was the scenes between Nick and Greg, mostly the ep was very boring and I couldn't wait for it to end so I could go to bed. Thats bad for an episode of CSI. So now with only four CSIs I think we will be getting more scenes like these in our future. Or I hope so.
