7x23 - Collateral Damage - **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

Not a bad episode, I don't really have much to say about it to be honest, I hope they wrap up that Cameron whats-his-face storyline though.

It was an interesting ep.

Was that look between Calleigh and Eric really needed before he entered the crime scene? I honestly think not...really people running around with grenades and killing people is not a time to be lovely dovey.

The bomb in the morgue wow....and Tara you are so fruity, though you wouldn't get caught, eh? Wrong...and I bet Ryan is going to follow through and make sure you get what you deserve.

That photographer is getting very annoying....oh look he died. Ryan and Eric sure called that one...dumb guy.

The H moments were cute, I think the kids helped. Great way to end the show.

Overall I wouldn't jump to watch this ep again....perhaps only parts that I liked.

WAH. Good episode.

-Lotsa cool action.

-Frank and Natalia, whoo!

-Lots of plot twisties and turns.

-Haha, Cameron died. I mean, oh noes.

-Ryan took his 'what to do if a gernade falls out of a body's pant leg' course. Loved his comforting Kyle. The poor kid was so shaken up!

-Horatio could be a crime lab all on his own. He needs his own theme song.

-Wow, Tara gets a lil snappy, huh?

-Ryan dropped his lil electrical conductor thing. When in doubt, use the taser!!

Great ep! It kept me interested the whole way through. Here's my thoughts as I watched it:

- Loved that it was from Frank's perspective in the beginning. That was cool.

- Wow, Horatio is wearing BLUE....or um...black.

- Awwwww. Ryan saved Kyle's life, and he was all concerned. But seriously, Kyle almost gets blown to bits and his first reaction is "I should have done something?" He is his father's son.

- Horatio doesn't seem too concerned about Kyle...:(

- Let me get this straight: A CSI just asks a cop to borrow his TASER, as in the weapon that shoots eletricity at people, and the cop just gives it to him?! That's fantastic!

- The photographer dude. Wow. And now he's dead. Sad.

- at Horatio saying he has a young son. Oh and his name's Kyle. "Strong Irish name for a strong Irish boy." If that's not a nod to Horatio I don't know what is.

- Not that I'm not happy to see Horatio interacting with children in a non-android way, but the ending was kind of cheesy. It's so weird to see Horatio like that.

The ep gets a solid A. Can't wait for next week.

:) I liked it. It wasn't the best I've seen, but it was pretty good. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't sick. :(

Woah! The grenade in the morgue scene was great!!!!! I loved Ryan comforting Kyle....that was so sweet. :) :)

Tara....I'm getting so irritated by her. Don't talk back to Ryan!! I love how he manipulated the truth out of her like a snap of the finger though.

Man....Ryan was hot tonight... as always...

Ok, both scenes with Horatio and the kids were SO funny....Idk what it was, like, the deep threatening voice trying to sound comforting...

Kyle...a strong Irish name for a strong Irish....something. Made me smile. I'm Irish. But I think Caruso is like...Italian or Scottish. Idk.

LOVED Frank going all psycho on that dude. Good thing Eric stepped in though.

What is it with all the characters from Kyle XY going on Miami??

Dave :) I wish Travers was there though.

Ryan did seem hyper in the scene with the taser. If anyone watches on CBS tomorrow watch when he's looking at Eric but not saying anything. His eyes were all jumpy. I laughed.

I caught a hint of something when Ryan told that photog that the Russians would kill him. I could see him thinking, "Believe me. I would know..."

Can't wait for next week!!!!!

First one show is Frank. Woo-hoo!

So now Eric gets the opening one-liner?

Frank's tie reminds me of fire for some reason.

Okay, when they said there were several Maria Lopez's (aka the nanny) did anyone else think of the Casey Anthony thing?

Horatio with the little girl... so cute.

Loved Ryan grabbing Kyle and pulling him behind the table and shielding him. And then being so concerned for him afterwards asking if he was okay and telling him to look at him. Awww.

Ryan's confused look at Tara picking up the pills... I saw a hint of disappoint in his eyes too.

Cal and H in two scenes together and actually talking to each other? And standing close to each other? Color me shocked.

Ryan butt shot! heeeheee.

Using the taser to get the impression of the license plate. Smart!

Someone's shooting at Frank. Not Nice!

"Didn't your mom ever teach you not to shoot cops?" :guffaw: I love you, Frank!

Suspect to Frank: You're making me nervous can you move back?

Hee Horatio called the nanny and said he had a school aged son. Well, technically Kyle's only 17 so he's sorta school aged.

Loved Ryan telling camera boy that "you almost killed three more and one of them was me."

H and the little girl at the end... so sweet. Wasn't she just the cutest thing?

Wow! What an episode!!

-Frank starting out the episode...sweetness!!!

-Horatio with the kids: this is why I miss the Horatio from seasons 1-3. Glad to see a bit of him is still there. :)

-Ryan saving Kyle...YAY! Go Ryan...be the hero!!!

-Ryan's WTF look at Tara, that was rich! Poor Ryan having to be put in that position!

-Ryan in general...:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

-Frank and the suspect. This is why I love him!!!! :)

Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10. I was very impressed with the twist the episode took with the son, but it could had been a tad more exciting. Oh well...we have next week!;) Although I'm beginning to worry about Ryan's welfare in the mourge.:shifty: LOL!!

Frank First!!! Yea!

Oh look...it's Antonio Vega (from One Life to Live) funny...he was a cop there and a restaurant owner/bad guy here. Still don't like him....:p

Ryan grabbing Kyle and pulling him behind the table was a nice bit of action. Was Kyle going to pass out? Kind of looked like it to me.

Ryan confused and disappointed at Tara picking up the pills... Why would he want to cover for her? Shouldn't he go tell H his suspicions?

Using the taser to get the impression of the license plate. Smart and cool. My son thought that was neat!

Frank getting shot at. Loved his reaction. PO'ed and in control. "Didn't your mom ever teach you not to at shoot cops?"

Funny...when H called the nanny my first thought when he said he has a kid was...liar. I guess I just don't connect him and Kyle.

Ryan telling camera boy that "you almost killed three more and one of them was me."

Fun episode!

Loved Frank smackin that kid around;)

Ryan's expression when he saw Tara picking up her pills:bolian:

:confused:A pretty intense episode. My thoughts.

What I liked:

---Ryan:
-Orange isn't his best color but boy he makes it look good and the latex gloves sticking out of his back pocket made me chuckle!!:drool::devil:
-His protecting and interacting with Kyle. Very big-brotherly and grabbing the gurney was quick thinking.

-his no nonsense talk with Tara was a good combo of tact and sensitivity.
He should probably go to H but I am sure he understands about addiction.

One quick question: was this supposed to be Ryan's first exposure to Tara's pill problem or has he had a previous experience? When he mentioned the name of the drug and said "I need you to kick this..." I got a little confused.

-his working along side Eric with seemingly no tension (again, no follow through but it was nice to see). I wonder how Ryan felt when he went to pick up the photographer. Wasn't it the photographer Ryan was going to see when he was grabbed by the Russians? And was the photographer was killed?

--Quality and quantity Frank. Although I think he had a right to be mad (getting shot at will do that to a person), I was a little concerned watching him put the smackdown on that suspect. I didn't want to see him in trouble.

--Dave!!

--H being H.

What I wasn't crazy about:

--Back to very few Natalia scenes

--The return of the Russians. I knew they were coming back but my stomach still did flip flops (wonder what RYAN'S was doing?!)

--Still can't warm up to Tara. Now find myself actually disliking her.

All and all a pretty good episode. Looking forward to the last two. Plenty of action and plenty of Ryan.

That was a little confusing. There didn't seem to any previous exposure with Ryan and Tara's drugs but he knew about her "shoulder". Ryans seems to know when people are lying,he knew Eric wasn't being truthful when he was living in that rat motel. He also seems to be aware of addictive behavior because of his own history. He seemed shocked when he saw Tara scrambling around on the floor for those pills. As far as knowing what they were, all of the CSI's seem to know a lot of little odd facts, about birds, fish, snakes, rocks etc. It wouldn't surprise me if he knew the name.Maybe his eye sight is better than we think and he read the name on the bottle.

It was an interesting ep.

Was that look between Calleigh and Eric really needed before he entered the crime scene? I honestly think not...really people running around with grenades and killing people is not a time to be lovely dovey.

After I rewatched this quick little interaction, I'm not so sure it was a lovey dovey moment. Calleigh and Eric make eye contact and Eric gives her a tight-lipped nod to which Calleigh responds with a half smile. Eric than quickly turns into the restaurant. It was the kind of look two people exchange after an argument.

Next week we are supposed to learn that Eric has something going on involving his biological father that upsets Calleigh. Looks to me like the tension may already be started.

I didn't think it was a lovey dovey moment either. I thought E/C were acting kinda cold to each other. When Eric went by I almost said to myself "oh dear...what happened??"

Overall, not a bad episode, but nothing I'd catch a repeat of.

For the most part, the best moments were of Horatio. I'm glad to see tptb stepping off the "darkside" path with him. I thought the ending was really sweet. I can't remember the last time that Horatio didn't just put on his sunnies while watching the bad guys be escorted away at the very end. This was much nicer seeing him at the park swinging that little girl talking to her about birds -- just pure sweetness. :)

One thing that I have to bitch & moan about though -- why no Kyle/H interaction? I was highly disappointed that we didn't see some kind of father/son "are you alright?" moment snuck in there. *glares*

Tara.
:shifty: Really I don't know what to say about her. I kinda giggled though seeing her butt in the air shoveling her pills back into the bottle -- desperate, honey?

My dear Francis, how I love you, but please stop playing whack-a-mole with the suspect's heads.

Kyle. He really freaked! Poor thing. I really enjoyed the interaction with him & Ryan -- big brother concern -- aww.

When he mentioned the name of the drug and said "I need you to kick this..." I got a little confused.
I was a bit baffled myself. It appeared that Ryan may know a little of what's going on with her. Im not quite sure if that's the writers intention, but it sure looked that way. He looked almost too concerned for someone who's barely known around the lab.

He seemed shocked when he saw Tara scrambling around on the floor for those pills.
See, I didn't think he looked all that shocked. He just looked disappointed, like he had a "feeling" he knew what she was doing. I might need to see the scene again....maybe it's just me. *shrugs*

Good episode but not the best of the season. I got kind of bored with the Horatio/nanny storyline about halfway through.

Things I liked:

-Starting the episode with Frank :)

-The explosion in the morgue and Ryan helping out Kyle. That was nice.

-Frank action sequence . Then him getting really pissed at that suspect and smacking him on the head .

-Calleigh and Eric exchanging what I interpreted as a quiet good morning. A quick look and half-smile and the world doesn't have to notice them acknowledging each other. That was nice :).

-Horatio and Calleigh sharing not one but TWO scenes , talking and everything

-Eric doing the thing with the taser. That was cool.

-Eric and Ryan interrogating the photographer. He should've listened..

Things I wasn't so crazy about:

-Horatio spending the whole time with the girl and her kids and not one scene where we could see him checking up on Kyle who had almost been blown up. We know by his conversation with Calleigh (again ) that he did know about Kyle being ok but it would've been nice to see a scene between them. I would've prefered that to end the episode instead of him being with the other kid.

-I would've liked a little more follow up on the explosion in the lab.

I give it a B-.

Oh and Ryan was really jumpy in that scene with Eric. Guess almost being blown up by a grenade will do that to you  ;).
