That reminds me, I did have another idea for a thread title ... how about "raised from perdition," :shifty: don't know why that came to me

Anyways, wanted to share a spoiler about:

Supernatural's very gracious angel in residence Misha Collins tells me, "We just shot an episode where we meet the man who Castiel possessed—the body that he's in—and that was a lot of fun for me to shoot, playing a different character. I think that's episode 20." Can't wait!

Season 3 Companion Guide, book ... 16 Things to Do Before I Die, by Dean Winchester.

    1. Eat cheeseburgers, lots and lots of cheeseburgers.
    2. Visit 'Gumby Girl'.
    3. Catalogue the contents of dad's storage locker.
    4. Memorize some exorcisms. (well at least one...)
    5. Investigate the legend behind the fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk. (Can hellhounds climb giant beanstalks?) :guffaw:
    6. Find another hand of glory. If those suckers really can open any locked doors, having one could come in handy in our line of work.
    7. Kill Gordon.
    8. Try a piece of Christmas fuitcake. (How bad could it be?)
9.See if Bobby has any amulets that protect against hex bag mojo.
    10. Dreamwalk in Lisa's head to see if she's having any naughty dreams about me ... and find out if she was telling the truth about Ben. (That kid was freakin' Mini-Me - he's got to have some Dean DNA!
    11. Find a real mystery spot - could use it as a last ditch escape route when the hellhounds come calling.
    12. Kill Lilith.
    13. Figure out a way to get that damn Ghostfacers theme song out of my head. :guffaw:
    14. Try to call dad for real on Edison's spirit phone. (If it doesn't work, order some pizza.) :guffaw:
    15. Get the colt back and ue it to show Doc Benton exactly what I understand about "immortality"...
    16. Don't go to hell.

:guffaw: for some reason that just reminded me of Saved by the Bell ... :shifty:

I'm going to have plenty of time to re-watch a lot of Supernatural, going to be out on medical leave nursing a shoulder surgery I'm getting tomorrow ... though I hate not being able to do stuff, it won't hurt to watch Jensen and Jared all day long ;)

Well, I was gonna say "touched by an angel", but that made me think of the show tbaa, which I didn't care for, so... :D

I hope your surgery goes well. Don't know how much I'll be online tomorrow. I've got to get packing (leaving thursday morning for the weekend). So, if I don't get to stop in tomorrow, I'll probably be stopping in Sunday afternoon after I return to town. I won't have access to internet while I'm gone. I won't get to watch Supernatural until after I return, so I don't know when I'll get up my thoughts about the episode.

    * Tries to keep awake ... *

I'm in so much pain at the present, that I want to go to bed but just can't ... :shifty: thought surgeries were supposed to be the opposite. Actually, I hope I can manage to stay awake long enough tomorrow to see the episode and with my luck I'll fall asleep when the episode's going to be good. I can't get the season 4 episodes to load on my xbox ... phooey.

I think everyone that has voted, has voted for the 'no chick flick' one ... or it could just be the pain medication taking it's affect  I got the go ahead to make the new thread around post 993-995 ... I'll just have to remember to do it  Man, I can't believe this thread went by that fast!

OK, I watched the episode last night and I'm sort of torn about it. Somehow a LOT actually happened, but I felt like the ep moved really slowly. And a couple times I found my mind wandering, which NEVER happens during this show. NEVER. Weird.

I didn't dislike it- some really interesting stuff came out of it, and as always the performances were stellar- but... I don't know. I guess it just won't be on my top 5 list for this season.

I disagree, I believe that was one of the better episodes of the season. I see where you're getting that it moved slowly, it was more dramatic than action filled than the other episodes (and I guess some fans would rather see action over excellent acting) As always, Jensen was able to have me almost in tears and Castiel and Anna's part (though I don't really like her) did the same. I just wanted to give Dean and Cas both big hugs.

No, of course I like drama. I wouldn't be watching this show otherwise. I don't need action, action, action. But the drama needs a driver too, and I felt like it was a little rambling by times here. I also mentioned the performances were excellent.

You might want to be careful how you word things... a less open-minded person than me might find some of your comments a little patronizing (what you have in brackets specifically). ;)
