I wonder this too. I want the book thing to come back up. It would be nice if he dedicated it to Warrick. I'd like to see Cath and Nick's reactions to that given how close they were to Warrick. :)

Oh that would be an excellent idea, to dedicate the book to Warrick.

As far as Greg's book goes, I figure Warrick's murder delayed finding a publisher because Greg missed the meeting his agent had arranged. The book finally got picked up and was almost ready to publish when the events of Ep. 9 happened (the one with Tippi Hedren in it; I'm blanking on the name). The publisher probably asked Greg to expand the chapter that mentioned the integrated casino so as to include recent events.

I think was an interview with David Rambo which basically said Greg's book didn't work out but may come up again later on. If I remember right, it would be a shame if it never happened and the writers just closed the book on it (pun intended). :)

Set phasers to autopsy: 'CSI' and 'Battlestar Galactica' attempt a mind meld
    by Mo Ryan
    Chicago Tribune
    February 27th, 2009

David Weddle and Bradley Thompson, who wrote the Feb. 27 episode of "Battlestar Galactica" as well as many other episodes of the Sci Fi show, shared some fun news about the episode of "CSI" they're filming at the moment (both men now write for the CBS show).

With "CSI" executive producer Naren Shankar, Weddle and Thompson penned "A Space Oddity," the April 16 episode of "CSI." It concerns a murder at a sci-fi convention, and frequent "Battlestar" director Michael Nankin is helming it. But the sci-fi connections don't stop there.

Kate Vernon, who plays Ellen Tigh on "Battlestar," will appear in the episode. Ron Moore, executive producer of "Battlestar," will also make a brief appearance, and Weddle promises "other surprise cameos for sci-fi fans."

Shankar, Moore, Weddle and Thompson all have long experience in the world of genre TV. Among the credits on their various resumes: "Farscape," "Roswell," "The Outer Limits" and "The Twilight Zone." They all wrote for "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (which is my favorite "Trek" series), and Shankar and Moore also worked on various other "Trek" projects, including "Star Trek: The Next Generation."

So is it too much to hope for a Leonard Nimoy cameo? Or for Laurence Fishburne to say, "Live long and prosper?"

If LF says "Live long and prosper." I will DIE! Literally. I will forever be a LF fan if he does that.

And for the Kate Vernon fans, a bit of trivia: She appeared in the season four episode "Turn of the Screws" as Raina Press, the mother of Daveigh Chase's character.

It would be the perfect opportunity for someone to say to Brass "He's dead Jim" This ep sounds like a lot of fun.

OMG! I am again reduced to fangirl speak. ¡SQUEE! Ellen Tigh was never my favorite character, but I am so frakkin' psyched to see her on the episode!

And the possibility for more cameos...!

Personally, I would love to see anyone from BSG. Jamie Bamber (Lee Adama, a.k.a. Apollo) is my favorite (and oh so pretty), but with Bamber's new shooting schedule for Law & Order: UK, it seems dubioust that he'd make it on to this episode. Katee Sackhoff (playing Kara Thrace, a.k.a. Starbuck), who was originally a favorite of TPTB to play Riley Adams, could also make an awesome cameo. William Olmos (Admiral Adama) or Mary McDonnell (Laura Roslin) would also be wonderful.

That said, my money is on Richard Hatch, who plays Tom Zarek on the current BSG and who played Apollo on the original BSG.

If it's not someone from BSG, I'd be so totally (and frakkin') psyched to see someone from Firefly or even Roswell. I can half imagine Adam Rodriguez or Brenden Fehr showing up as their Roswell counterparts.

My biggest question -- will Archie, Hodges and Wendy be suspects, witnesses or their normal lab tech selves? Because I can definitely imagine them going to the convention, being the Trekkies that they are.

Well the ones they hired to write Grave Shift did a great job-are they from BSG.

I used to love watching that show in the late 70s (ducks head in embarassment to hide her age)

I would love for Naren to call on his Farscape crew and get Ben Browder or Claudia Black on the show....

If you find Taylor Swift's myspace page, she posted a video on her video page that features a few clips of her filming her upcoming episode. I have no idea how to bring you a link....and mods if myspace isn't an approved page I apologize

I would totally love to see Ben again. I remember when he did a part on CSI: Miami, only to play the killer. Boo! I would love anyone from Farscape to show up.

I have no problem with an official myspace page, I have a problem when someone claims it is only for a star to come out and say umm nope not mine. Swifts page seems like hers so no harm done. I am sure people can locate it, if not just link to the page/section that it is on and from there folks will find it.
