There's an interesting scene with Ralph Waite, Robert Guilamme and Grissom playing poker..looks interesting..

Based on past conversations between various characters regarding the Griss/Sara relationship, I think the talk between Cath and Griss in this ep will probably just be Cath asking if Grissom's heard from Sara and maybe Grissom mentioning the video and that that was the last he heard from her. That'll probably be the end of it. Cath will probably realize that he doesn't want to discuss the topic any further and she'll change the subject quickly.

I wonder that too. I wonder if Griss will tell Cath about the doll he found.

Or Cath may change the subject quickly because she doesn't want to talk about it either and was just being polite, LOL.

I look forward to this Grissom and Catherine scene. It's about time we get one.

I'm sure Sara will be brought up in some form though but not as Grissom's lover or whatever they are now. Sara was part of the original CSI team so it wouldn't suprise me that her name would come up.

My thoughts exactly! This is what I hope will happen during the episode.

    Moving Off Topic....

CHILL OUT! If you don't like hearing or reading about GSR or any speculation on it or anyother ship/ship reference, then please IGNORE the post, its not that hard, see the terms for said reference then scroll past it. Any speculation about GSR in THIS episode is no different then any speculative conversation of Catherine/Grissom. No one persons opinion is important then anothers, and when a person is posting a casual response to another party they do not deserve to be told more or less that what they have to say isn't important to the thread unless it is completely off topic and even then respectfully ask to have the thread go back on topic or as I said ignore it.

I do not believe anyone who reads this thread needs to be reminded who the mods are, and anyone who tries to backseat mod should know that its a no-no and that there is a difference between that and being helpful. Whether or not the intention was to backseat mod, if it comes across that way to anyone... Now their were rules put in place regarding ship discussion, and we [the mods] are trying to keep that balance.

Just to make this clear, this is addressed to anyone and everyone no one person is being singled out.

    Moving Back On Topic...

    I really liked this episode....

Loved Greg rattling off the hotel's history and Old Hollywood.

Loved the Gil/Cath ending scene, even though it was about Sara and its definitely foreshadowing what will happen with Grissom in the final 2 episodes for him

I love all the jabs at American Idol, hahahaha!! I also love the reference to votefortheworst.com, that was great.

David Rambo sucks balls, finally a scene with Cath and Grissom together, and it's about Sara.

Yeah that pissed me off too. I did love how they had their own Sanjaya on the episode too.

I must be the only one who didn't think of Sara during the last scene.

What did they call that one guy? Sanjee or something? Supposed to be like Sanjaya? :guffaw:

I loved this episode. I liked all the references to old Vegas and the history and all. Too bad Sam wasn't around to be a part of it.

It was good to see Archie too.

Yeah they had a kid whose name sounded similar to Sanjaya. I thought that was funny.:guffaw:

It was a really good episode. I liked the old time actors and it was cool to watch Grissom play cards with these guys.

Having Sam there would have been cool. I miss that guy. He made me laugh for some reason.

The scene in which Nick mentions Warrick made me a little sad. I guess Nick is still grieivng. At least he's mentioned it.

the ep was great, though it was a bit slow in the beginning. i was a little bored the first 20 minutes but when the cold case came up i got hooked. i was glad the end wasn't similar to the one in The Execution of Catherine Willows where the CSI's (Catherine) got all "justice must be served!" on the detective who screwed up. it's nice to see an ending to a dirty cop case that we haven't seen yet. the ep felt long but in a good way.

loved the ending scene with Cath. didn't Grissom say he "fell in love" with a girl, though? huh. i thought Sara was the only one he ever loved. this season we hear he loved Warrick, some girl in the past ... it's pretty amazing to see him open up like this. the guy has feelings after all. :p Sara must've had some impact on him.

I thought the beginning was a bit slow too but then it picked up when they got to the old casino/Vegas stuff. I loved Greg rambling his Old Vegas history knowledge. Too bad the book was not mentioned :( I did like his comment about having a Glitter Fetish to Catherine.

Nice that Nick mentioned Warrick. He still misses him.

It would have been cool if Sam was still around too but the story was neat. I liked the show by the end of it.

I did not think Grissom was necessarily talking about Sara in the end. I think he was just talking about his life in general.

See I thought Grissom was, especially when he went on the subject of taking a risk. Like taking a risk and going to be with Sara and get away from CSI and his work( something that cost him his old college love)

Grissom said he THOUGHT he was in love with a girl in college but that the science won out. Said all his money went to the study of science and not the girl. When Catherine told him that we're all your family, Grissom remarked that maybe it's time to up the ante. I took that to mean Sara and marriage (a true family).

That guy is worse than Simon Cowell, but he was right. Layla was a tiny bit flat on a couple of notes. I like the boy's voice though.

She was pregnant? Well, that might explain the sudden emotional outburst.

The boy's dad played John Hagen on CSI Miami.

OMG, Nick actually mentioned Warrick. Color me shocked.

Greg: You know I have a glitter fetish, don't you? :guffaw:

Hodges: Somewhere a swamp is in mourning.

Grissom: There was no money left for the girl.
Cath: Maybe it just wasn't the right girl.

I realize of course the GSR fans are going to view those comments in a different way than me, but I honestly didn't think he was talking about Sara with anything he said. The up the ante comment could just mean up the ante on life... in other words, take another risk (ie leaving the lab and trying his hand at something else).

I'm surprised that Riley only had two scenes in the whole episode.

Greg's glitter fettish comment was definitely the best line in the whole ep.

I loved all the potshots at American Idol and that Hodges does the votefortheworst thing.

I also liked that Catherine recognized the vic and said she was Lindsey's favorite on the show.

I didn't notice the one guy's name being similiar to Sanjaya, but then again, I had totally forgotten about Sanjaya up till I came to this thread tonight. Now I realize how close the names are.

I was surprised that the girl's death actually turned out to be an accident and that the only "foul play" involved was the moving of the body.
