Why isn't she on there? Makes me kinda mad for some reason and she isn't on the list for NY either.

 

Megan Dodds who plays Christine Whitney. The missing girlfriend.

 

There is a giveaway though...two really. One pic had her in...and we can tell she lives because she's listed in the next ep. I figure we might not see her in this half but we likely will in the NY ep. You'd thnk IMDB would at least list it though.

I wonder which case is A and which is B and if they end up connected or no.

 

The thing is, I would think it would make more sense to show her getting kidnapped/attacked in this crossover. When they have shown a kidnapping, don't they show the person getting kidnapped?

Yeah, that's the dead giveaway and even though IMDB doesn't show her or hasn't updated their NY category, TV.com has her listed in the next episode after Friday.

 

Yeah, that's what I meant, the Valentine's ep.

I know what you mean about the flashbacks. Or some kind of teaser in the beginning though. One thing that comes to mind is perhaps she had to balance this with another commitment or something. IDK.

 

The fact that there's speculation of flashbacks and new "old" material means that it has worked.

You don't promote the character who is, for the time being, missing. You want people to wonder, and surmise to build up anticipation. In the season 8 CSI opener, if I'm remembering correctly, Jorja Fox wasn't on the released cast list.


Why this question is so big is crazy to me as there's so many reasons to not want her included in the promos.


eg. Think of the movie Se7en, which excluded Kevin Spacey's involvement entirely so audiences wouldn't know he was the culprit.

 

I wonder if any GSR will pop up. Is Sara in this one? I think it's better if they don't mention that storyline this time...it'd verge on too much being crammed into the ep.

 

Yeah, I agree. As much as I want some mention, there's too much going on in a crossover to set aside time for subsidiary character's love lives.

I think ep. 15, after the crossover, is when GSR will resume. Hopefully. I'm dying to know what's going on between them.

 

Just worth mentioning, I haven't seen any ads for the Vegas episode coming up but then haven't seen any NY either.

 

Okay, just one? You'd think they'd air it a few times but I must have left the room to check the internet.

 

In Canada no preview aired. We've still only got the one from after NY's last episode.
