Sinclair LOL about the dishwasher.

I noticed it was the same writers as well. I hope she is reconsidering. :D
They do look relaxed though, good call. Kristine (Top41) mentioned in her review of Blood Moon, that Cath and Lou work together well as well as balance their relationship. So there should be no reason that they couldn't go out with the rest of the team. In Blood Moon, they did look like they were out somewhere by the way they were both dressed, so it's not like they never go out and all they do is... (you know ;) )

Something that's been bugging me about blood moon, and considering all that was happening in the opening seconds of the ep i appreciate this is an odd thing to notice, it looked like they must of been out to dinner or something but why would vartann take his gun and police badge to dinner?

I know what you're thinking, i've thought about this too much, and you're right....i have.

I don't think he did. From the opening scene to when Cath and Lou got the call out, I'm assuming a lot of time had passed. Plus what they were doing would probably warrant both of them to change their clothes. ;) So Lou arrived after changing his clothes, same with Catherine. And when he brought up the living together part, she said, "last night" so it would go to show that at least a day had passed. That's my thoughts anyway.

Now on to last night, Doc was great. Catherine had a glow about her when she was talking to him. One wonders the comment Doc made about "Detective Vartann is a good man." That Catherine is reconsidering Vartann's offer?

If he did have his gun on their date, some off duty cops always carry their guns with them, so I don't think it would be that odd.

Last night we didn't get any actual Vartann on the show, but there were mentions of him which was nice. Loved Doc telling Cath what a good guy Vartann was, being all supportive of their relationship and all. I sometimes get the feeling that Doc is like a surrogate father to Cath.

Yeah it's difficult some times to judge how much time is passing during an episode, guess it just struck me as odd to see his gun and badge on the floor during that opening scene. I think it's my englishness that finds it hard to wrap my head around why people have their guns with them (even if they are an off duty cop).

Anyway.....nice scene last night with doc robbins and cath, good point GregNickRyanFan it certainly had a friendly paternal feel to it. It made me think of the funny vartann/doc scene in Iced when doc said that vartann's a good man. I still feel like these little mentions suggests that the relationship could go either way; marriage vs breaking up.

After doc's comment i'm optimistic that they'll have catherine change her mind about moving in with vartann.

I thought it was great that Doc mentioned Vartann. Apparently Hodges is quite the blabbermouth and told Doc about Vartann asking Cath to move in with him. They probably know she didn't hence the "he's a good guy" comment. I love how the team has been involved with little comments here and there like Sara, Nick, Hodges, and now Doc.

I still want to know what Grissom would think about Catherine and Vartan. The writers owe me. But I also liked Doc talk to Catherine. After all these years I can feel the bond between all characters and those small moments are always great.

The spoiler pictures have me smiling non stop.I can not even comment.

I think that the chemistry between them is so great, it is a shame that the writers took so long to hook them up! That being said I hope that they don't kill him before the season is over. Catherine deserves better than that!

So apparently we have trouble in paradise :shifty:

The part that irks me the most is the last one about another man's arms. I mean come on!! She finally has a great guy who treats her with decency and we are getting this another man situation :shifty:. I just hope it ends well because it'd be a shame that Marg has the chance to wrap up her storyline since she is leaving and Cath ends up without Vartann and with some kind of unhappy ending

i hope that in the next episode with them together there's a scene where they talk about their future. i'd like to see a love scene after the bed scene.
it's so interesting what it's going to happen between the two, but i hope that the new man won't cause too much problems. because i don't want that catherine leaves csi because of the end of the relationship with lou. i'm so curious to know what is catherine's secret too.

Argh, tonight's episode was bad.. I feel so bad for Vartann! He's such a good guy, and wants so much more from the relationship than she seems to want or be willing to give. :(

Also, the guy at the beginning that she got the casino information from - is that the "in another man's arms" or is there more to come?

Re: Vartann&Willows #1Vartllows:b/c This Guy..'Can Hit the Bowl'

See I'm convinced this is the end. Like I said on the episode thread, the are both stubborn. He wants her on his terms, she wants him on her terms. They need to figure out how to get past that.

I don't think he was that upset at what she told him about the casino, it's that she didn't tell him. He's feeling left out, and sort of blindsided. First he finds out she is part owner of a casino then he finds out she was possibly raped? That to me, is why he got bend out of shape.

She also is stubborn, she wants him on her terms. She doesn't want to move in with him, doesn't think Sam's stuff was any of his business (which it may not be) so I can see her point too.

What the writers need to do is some how find a way for them to be together. Let both sides concede a little. That's how relationships work.

Heather, you said it better then I posibly could:thumbsup:.I ended up liking their argument becouse it was realistic.Catherine is a complicated woman and Vartan has his own personality as well so they are going to have confrontations. If they want to make it work, they are both going to have to give a little. But more then anything ,I SO want them together.

The way they've written the characters in both Blood Moon and Wild Life makes me think that think that the relationship will end and that it would play a part in Catherine leaving.

As much as i love them together, you've got Vartann who clearly wants a more serious, open with each other relationship, which goes against what Catherine seems to be looking for.

I guess it's possible they might make catherine have some sort of epiphany about Vartann whilst she's caught up in that booby-trapped office.

I just hope if they do end the relationship that the writers don't make Vartann into a jerk. I thought Alex played Vartann brilliantly in the office scene, it was good to see him with material that didn't just involve him relaying case details.

Can't wait for the episodes after christmas :), we've still got over half a season for possible cath/vartann make-up time

Re: Vartann&Willows #1Vartllows:b/c This Guy..'Can Hit the Bowl'

In both episodes, she's been giving him less than what he wants (moving in, sharing personal information). It seems like he's trying to have a serious relationship with a future, and all she's interested in is living for the moment.

I like Vartann, and I don't want to see him get hurt; he's a really great guy, the kind of guy that Catherine needs in her life. Regardless of what happens in their relationship, I hope the writers don't turn him into nothing more than "Catherine's love interest" and then drop him when Marg leaves or if the relationship ends.

I can understand her not sharing the motel thing more than the casino. That was in the past, and probably a fairly painful memory. The casino is in the present though, and I think he's justified to be annoyed she kept it from him (after all, Nick knew about it years ago).
