An hour and a half??!?!? One. Hour. And. A. Half??? You never told me that while we were waiting by the bins! You might have ended up in one had I known that! The 30 odd minute wait was OK. I guess I'm not as patient as PLG! It's the only time I actually consciously felt like a stalker! :guffaw: Outside the back of the children's hospital, in the alley where John Dillenger was murdered, hiding behind huge bins... Classy!

But fair play. PLG was right. It was just so weird. This bloke plodded out and we looked and it was Billy! The most surreal experience of my life! Bizarre. Well worth the wait.

GG - god i'm so excited for you!! don't worry about having non believers with you - there is an ace bar next to the theatre - they can go into there whilst you wait outside!!

Yeah. It's called Clark's. Right next door to the theatre. Tell them to wait there with your favourite celebratory tipple... then you can either celebrate catching him or drown your sorrows with a cheeky one! Warn them you may be some time! Lol!

I really want to be back in Chicago! Sob!!

Too right! And don't forget the rats scurrying across the alley that were the size of cats!! :guffaw: But yeah, I was planning on either placating you to to keep waiting another five mins then another five mins. I wasn't moving! I just knew he'd be out. If you annoyed me too much by whining that you wanted to go, I was going to order you to go and I'll meet u at Clarkes bar or something. :p

To be fair though, we were waiting for about 45 -50 mins for him. I thought it went quite fast!

Too right!! They were MONSTROUS!! Just cos you have a scuzzy job surrounded by them all day doesn't mean to say we all do!

We never waited that long! If you look on Billy's watch (zoom in on the disc!) it's 10.05! That's a 40 mins max wait!

I'm wearing my Billy jeans right now. I haven't washed them yet... Dirty Gerty that I am... They have Billy's jeans fibres on the legs... microscopic little Billy fibres... And. I. Keep. Stroking. The. Seams... Rawr!

Excuse me! I don't have scuzzy job! its a very important job in our local authority, think you'll find! and i get other people to deal with the rats and rubbish and general crap that people leave around! :p

The 'Ashley' one wasn't CSIz :)
Thank you for the complements :) You're so sweet ;p I have every intention of being a CSI for sure :) Nooo worries there :) I think the review was pretty much the same one I had posted on here....I just wrote what came to my mind and what I was feeling/seeing :) Found this on VG's website blog today....check it out:

Ok, so do you see the far wall, in the FRONT row? (there is a red chair right in front of it between the stage and the seats..there is a giant black rectangle thing right beside the seats...if you see that, you're looking in the correct spot) So the seat CLOSEST next to the wall is exactly where CSIz sat, and then RIGHT next to it (going toward the center aisle, is exactly where I sat!! *SQUEE* I'm FLIPPING out again just SEEING our seats again! LOL
WOW...we were SO close to that man....imagine him...on the stage...bending over, walking back and forth....turning his back *ahem* toward us....and we were THAT close.....GOD....how did we live through that!?

I would be willing to wait forever to see Billy, but I don't think that my husband and our 3 other friends will be as forgiving.

My big problem is that my husband and the others want to check out a couple of the Blues bars up on Halstead St. And I know my husband is not going to head off without me....:( Let's just hope that Billy comes out to see people afterwards...or else Christine and I will just have to give everyone else the slip and head off to the alleyway and the dumpsters...lol!!!

Good thing that rodents don't bother me then. :p Anything in the quest for meeting and seeing Billy hotness!!!

I totally understand about the jeans BF. You've got to hold onto that Billy-ness for as long as possible.:devil:

Join us for dinner and conversation with WP and DZ. http://victorygardens.org/content/node/1381

Sure, a week after we go they decide to offer this!!! Doesn't matter of course, because I couldn't afford the $300 price tag on top of accommodations and food. :(

GG I know, if had the cash I would have SO signed up for that! Although I doubt I'd be able to open my mouth without something...erm...rather inappropriate *yikes* coming out...or at all. I'd probably be picked on for being the quiet one, and then turn bright red when someone said something...But no, I'd LOVE to have been able to go! I'm a HUGE fan of helping VG out financially :)

DW: did you mean apply for a REAL CSI job, or did you mean as a writer for CSI? I'm going to school to be a CSI, so I will eventually have that application in :) Hopefully with either Vegas MPD or Chicago PD...we'll see which city captures my heart ;) Did you check out the picture of the theater? We were SO CLOSE, yes? *SQUEE*

Hey Crim, our seats are 2 rows behind yours...lol!!! WooHoo!!! I can't wait for Saturday!!!
weehee.gif
(I'm not losing it, really I'm not...)

GG Ya'll have greeeeeeeeeeeeeeat seating :) *WOO HOO* No, of course you're not losing it....never! ROFL
Keep calm! Trust me, you'll (if you are anything like me) want to throw up beforehand and even when you're in there waiting for the show to start (I honestly questioned my ability to stay there....It's like a fight or flight thing....I was just so worked up I was like GOD I can't do this! LOL) but once he comes out, and you see (for yourself!!) how comfortable Billy is and how happy (well, you'll get the vibe ;p) he is up there, you'll be at ease too :)
Just be careful if he catches your eye...You may turn into a puddle....I know I did :)

PS- PHENOMENAL review of 'Blackbird' courtesy of WPAP...MUST read.

I'll be fine before and during the performance Crim. It will be afterward, when we're trying to get to see him that I'll be nervous, but I won't show it. I'm like Grissom that way...all emotional inside, nothing showing on the outside..;)
I'm sure I'll turn into a puddle later though...lol!!!

Thanks for posting the link to the newest review too Crim. I'm so happy that everything is turning out wonderful for Billy in terms of how the play is being received. Such happy, happy news!!!
