CSI - Scientifically based
CSI Miami - Action based
CSI NY - Was thriller based, but became action based too.

I'll keep watching as long as they're producing!

Interesting ideas .I get that Vegas is science and Miami is action but I do not quite get NY maybe becouse I do not watch it as often.
 
Yeah, I know! The romance stuff between Danny and Lindsay, Mac Taylor dating (haven't seen my self). All components that the producers of CSI NY wants make this show more unique.

To my opinion, they should make thrilling episodes by putting the blue filter. Nope! Nothing about New York City, but the series is called CSI New York, and not New York CSI.
 
I am catching up with CSI NY this summer.Some episodes like the one with the compass killer are really really good.But in general they lost the "NY feeling" that I loved when the show started.Vegas has the casinos and Miami the beach but CSI NY needs to tells us more about how unique the city is.
 
I have watched the original and NY since they started on normal tv and they are shown about 6 months after they air in the states. I watched the 1st few of Miami when it started but then stopped because I didn't like it or so I thought in 2003.

Last year, quite by accident I watched a season 7 episode of Miami (ep 14) and thought it was really good and wondered why on earth I didn't watch it all this time. Since then I've watched all 8 seasons and unlike the other 2 CSIs, I've watched most episodes of Miami more than once! And also unlike the other 2 CSIs, I watch the season 8 episodes of Miami on the computer 48 hours after they are shown in the US.

I love CSI Miami and all the people in it. Watching it just makes my day!

When I voted in the poll, it was CSI: Miami. Now, however, if I could vote I would vote for CSI: NY. I love CSI: NY. CSI: Miami lost its momentum when it killed off Jesse Cardoza.
 
I voted for both "CSI" and "CSI:NY". CSI mainly because of its earlier seasons (1-8), and season 12 because I'm sure Danson can revive it. Its always had a great mix of characters, socially inept genii like Grissom and to a lesser extent, Sara. Tough women like Catherine and Sofia, and characters like Riley, who brought the show alive for me (she left way too soon!)

CSI:NY for seasons 1, 2, 4 and 7, and its ability to transition leads without any disruption to the flow of the show. Its also got a unique New York taste to it, and having such a great cast can't be a bad thing either.

I love Miami too, but compared to the other two, its terrible. Adam Rodriguez/Delko completely ruins the show for me. They should've kept going the way were with season 8 rather than reverting to the crap from seasons 4&5.

Finally, someone with the guts to say what I've been thinking.
 
I voted for Miami, because to me it is the most entertaining and it's the show I HAVE to see every week... been hooked since first episode, even though I was quite young when it premiered!
It was really close though so I have to say my second favourite is CSI because of legendary episodes like Appendicitement (10, 09) and You Kill Me (08,08) which just made me laugh so hard, as do most of the epis in Vegas.
I love all three shows though and NY has some amazing plots, but there is something about NY that makes it less definable than the others...hard to explain what i'm on about really!
 
I voted for CSI because i think its awesome and love the characters. I have watched csi miami in the past but stopped because i find horatio really irritating, as for csi NY i never got into it at all. Personally i feel that CSI is the only one that seems to show a reasonable amount of forensic science, the lack of focus on forensic science in the miami and NY shows kinda undermines the whole point of csi in my opinion.
