Wow, I feel really boring after reading all of your posts. I'm a Heinz (57 varieties). Little bit of everything: english, scottish, native american, german, etc. etc. etc.

I'm 50% black: dad's side
50% native american: mom's side. And I'm cool with that. I have lived all over creation , but I would love to visit Austraila, London and Germany. Oh I was born in Sherevport Louisiana but raised mainly in North Carolina USA. I would rather be in Miami though... ( huricanes be damned :)
 
haha that's so cool - I'm plain old Lebanese - dude did you know we're descendants of Phoenecians? A scientist recently took some DNA from a bone of a Phonecian and tested people in Saida ( Lebanon ) and they have the same DNA... that just blew me away.

Wow. I love the mix of everyone's ethnic background here! Sometimes I wish I had a bit of Spanish in me to go along with my Greek and Croatian background.
 
OK i think everyone needs to come down to Melbourne Australia and hang out with me. We can eat all the multicultural food cos that's what Australia's all about.
Reading about everyone, it just sounds like my high school. We had people from so many backgrounds.

Kat_La i watched "Lonely Planet - 6 degrees" on Discovery alot this summer and this one time they showed Melbourne and i fell in love with it. It really is multicultural and everyone seems so friendly man it was so cool - i definetely want to go there, but the fact that its a tourist area is kinda scary now with all those bomb threats :s
I think its important to learn about other cultures, whats the point of living if you live only to learn about one ?
 
Yeah...that's deep Roka...I mean if you don't learn and come to understand other people's cultures, it causes all the prejudice and sense of superiority/inferiority...Yeah...it's a sad thing... I mean why can't people accept cultures the way they are, and learn to respect them because they're different from their own!?

Wow this ties in with my essay topic....*runs off to put into the conclusion* Phew there we go :D
