Well, I thought it was about time to open a thread where you can introduce yourself a bit, no matter if you're a freshman or an 'older' Fan Art Creator :D

Nearly every forum has such a thread, why should we do without?

So say 'Hello', give away some interesting details about yourself or tell us when you have to leave for a longer period, only rule: don't get spammy ;)

Im currently working on some icons and banners and whatnot. They are mostly Ryan/Jon Togo ones :D Anyways, that's about it ;)

Well I'm Kit4na, my real name is Tatiana. I'm 18, I live in Belgium. I still go to school, I'm doing a specialisation year in "shop management". I don't think I'm ever going to do anything with that degree because I want to become a screenwriter. So it could be that next year I'm off to university. Only problem is: I hate studying. So I'm not quite sure if I'm going to do that. Luckily not every screenwriter actually has a degree of screenwriting, most of them don't. Currently I'm repolishing 2 filmscripts and working on one of my own. Previous year I started to work on my very first screenplay. I finished it this June. Anyway I'm going to film that one day when I have enough experience in the business. Those 2 repolished filmscripts will be filmed as soon as they have a budget but that can take a while..

My favorite tv show is CSI Miami! Favorite all time ship? Horatio / Yelina.

Hi, I'm katpin31791(Sharon) 49 live in Georgia(US). I'm a housewife. Have two grown children, son(30), daughter(27), 3 granddaughters & my son & wife are expecting their 1st one in Dec(very excited) My fave show is CSIM out of all three then NY, LV. That's the order I got hooked. Fave ships H/y, M/S. Hope I didn't ramble too much. LOL
 
Ok well My name is Katrina and I am 35. I live in the USA - Michigan to be exact. I am married and have an almost 4 year old son. I have watched CSI LV longest but recently got hooked on NY and Miami (Jon Togo :p) :lol:

I started playing around with fanart at the beginning of May. I fell in love with AliGtr's work. Then a store by my house was going out of business so I was able to get Photoshop Elements 5.0 fairly cheap.....and so then it all started - and now I am addicted!! :lol: My fav ship is actually a slash crossover between Ryan & Greg. Want to know anything else or have a request - just PM me!
 
Wow, I never even thought of this thread, and it's funny because almost every other thread has one lol.

Anyway, I'm Jessica as most of you know, you can call me Jess or Jessie or just plain old Wyoming, it doesn't matter to me. I'm 17 years old (one of the younger mods here) and I live in the US, in New Jersey (Where my favorite TV show House is set). I'm really not a guru at fanart, I always refer to Cinegirl for that stuff, I'm mainly just the "obey the rules" kinda mod, along with my co-mod.

So yeah, that's me. I'm a very friendly person, so feel free to PM/IM me any time.

I'm Gen, from Canadia and I mostly work around here on icons and the odd banner. -- Although I've been known to make some wallpapers. I'm not an expert with photoshop, but give me any program and I'll cheat my way through it and make it seem like photoshop. :lol:

I mostly do CSI:Miami Fan Art mainly because I don't have screencaps for the other shows and am much too lazy to find any. :p I have no problem with requests as long as they're not animated. (I wish I could though, lol)

So, what else about me...*rubs chin* I sometimes run a challenge or two over on this end and then spend the rest of the time looking through everyone else's brilliant art work. :D I must say, there are some exceptional artists here too.
 
Okay so I'm Leynette from New Jersey. I mostly make icons of Miami and once in a while NY and LV. I like going into challenges and even though I don't win I feel good that I atleast tried. I also make icons from outside of CSI like other actors and such. Oh, and I'm 15 my birthday is on April Fools Day. :p So that's basically it!
 
I'm sort of a newbie to CSI fanart - I would do photomanips or colorizing of b&w photos from my favourite Royal family, The Romanovs. :D Now I love to make banners and more photomanips of CSI Miami.

Call me Sissi, and I am a complete country girl (I've got the boots and the hat to prove it :lol: ). I drive a John Deere lawnmower/tractor (I don't get my silverado for another year) and, well, my friends say I'm insane.
 
Well, i guess I'm considered a newbie fanart-er. I've been doing it for close to a year, but only been posting for, say, 6 months or so. Also, my stuff is pretty amature, especially compared to most of the guys on here!

In real life I'm known as Jemma/Jems, and as a complete CSI nut! :D I holla from England, and I'm 16.
 
howdy!! i'm stef and i'm 19. broadcasting student from kentucky and i work in a radio station. i've been making icons for about 6 months. its become an addiction. thats right, photoshop is my crack. i make mostly csi miami icons with the occasional batch of Big Love icons. i join like every challenge. i hardly ever win but they're fun and i learn a lot in the process :D right now i'm trying to learn ImageReady so i can make animated icons. i'll figure it out one of these days. :) oh and i like requests. i don't even care what for, i'll make it.
 
hi everyone, im ceri and im from wales, resoning behind my username... its my dog :lol: anyway im 38 and work crazy shifts, so cant always get on as much as i like, my fave character was speed, but the guys in the wallpaper thread, i think know that at present i got a healthy obsession with flack :lol: i love entering the challenges, though im completely useless at icons and banners compared to the rest, i also have my own website that is based on my favorite guys of csi, though it has got other things on there from crim minds, ncis etc

My name is Rebecca or Becci and I'm 23 years old from north germany. In my freetime I love to make manipulation funs, banners and icons of CSI. I exercise since some years still again with Photoshop. It's really a very bulky pc programm with very much different functions... Alas! :D But this is my favourite hobby besides to write screeds and short stories.

I use many programms for my art work:

Picture IT 99, Photoshop CS 8, Photo Impact 12, Ulead GIF Animator 5 and Gifan.

I work with all together. So I become a better result as only with one of this.

PS: I have the challenge addiction.... :lol:
 
Greetings - I'm called Lisa in my world (or more regularly "mum"). I'm nearing 40 with the heart of a 20 year old (although unfortunately not the body!)

I have only been doing icons for about 3 months and am still a newbie at it. I have been having help from 4ENSIX and Cathwillows (thanks guys) and have a long way to go before I start posting my icons with any kind of confidence! I have Photoshop and it does my head in most of the time. I am a complete Nickaholic and love Snickers.
 
Hey all!

I'm Roos, 16 years old and I love art, like most of you here. I started making art a year ago, using PS7. I have had CS2 since last december and that was the ultimate launch for my art, I think. There were more tuts available for that program and I started learning so much. Only stupid point about PS is that it refuses to start sometimes. I really love the selective colouring function and colour burn layers are good friends o'mine too. It's a pity that I just don't have time to PS as much as I'd like to. At the moment, I mostly make art 'starring' my favourite singers, but I tend to also make CSI art sometimes.

Nice to hear your art-stories!
