Wallpaper Thread #8: Showcase, Links, and Requests

Great walls everyone. Will snag when I'm back on my own PC. Have been using my daughters laptop this week when I've felt like getting on. Keeps me from having to sit to long at my own. LOL Linda thanks once again for the get well wishes & all you've done. I'm actually feeling better. My hubby's not so good at the moment. He also thinks he may have a hernia. Poor thing. Hopefully will get some of my own up soon. Thanks for all the awesome wp's.

 

@CSI_Kat: Great wallpaper! I love how it blends into the background (especially the top picture)...

As for your question, I was struggling with the same thing as well! That's why my wallpapers are usually using a gigantic picture, so I can use the original background as the wallpaper background without worrying how to blend it... LOL... Except for the Yobling wallpaper I made for Lyrics Challenge whereby I just use a texture as the background (but once again the pictures does not blend to the background)...

 

CSI Kat to anser your question. I usuallly use the 'healing brush'. With that i erase to original background. I copy the pic to antoher background and fool a bir around with the effects until I get the result I like
As for working with the masks, I only use them on my backgrounds, just try it out and don't be afraid for the results, they could be amazing :devil:
