"Two and a Half Deaths" Discussion *SPOILERS*

What I meant was that they didn't have an active role! For instance, Charlie Sheen didn't make that remark about Cath's dress being police issue... or did he? And where was Greta(?), his housemaid?

Those interrogation scenes were in the "Two and a Half Men" episode earlier in the week. And Berta was hilarious!

Hmm, well I've just seen the episode as it was just aired of Channel 5 in England... Well it was one of the worst episodes I've seen since the opening of season Eight.

Maybe its me cause im not american but i just didnt get the jokes. I dont watch two and a half men anyways...

The comical element really didnt work that well for me, it felt like what Grissom was saying was false....

Maybe I dont have any humour in me. The only funny thing in the whole episode was the idiot of the husband... and at the end, when he was bleeding to death, hence two and a half deaths....

Maybe it wasn't that you didn't get them, it was that most of them wheren't funny ;)

I really think that an episode like this is going to polarize opinion. Not much middle ground. And being that some of us either - haven't seen '2 and a Half Men', or think it's unfunny pap, then that was always going to put this episode on the back foot.

As for the end scene - I don't think believe was the 'half a death', the half a death in the title refered to the dog as far as I'm concerned.

I think season 8 has been strong, especially since after the strike. But this one, along with that ridiculous halloween one have been the 2 weak links. But hey, no series is going to please EVERY fan every single time. There have been so many good episodes, that to just have a couple :wtf: ones, is good going.

I loved the episode just for the fact that Katey Sagal was in it. So did the blondy and the crazy guy poison Bud or what, how did he die.

who knew if he died.

It was all in the vodka, they all drank the vodka.

Vodka = bad!

Katey Segal is wonderful, it was really great to see her in CSI. Although tbh, I don't think the script did her any great favours. The opening scene for instance, just really really bad, so unfunny, didn't set the tone well for the rest of it. She did as well as she could with the part though to her credit.

I liked this episode. Sometimes you need a little hilarity to offset the serious. And the way that Brass and Grissom kept going back and forth with the looks, priceless. This episode was just what the doctor ordered.

2 & half men & CSI

I watched 2 & a half men last night, and during the eppie they had CSI invesitgators interogating the family members. Not sure if it was a spoof of the CSI show or a cross over of a new csi show. Can you please let me know which it is?

Re: 2 & half men & CSI

Back in May of this year, both shows exchanged writers for one episode of each. The writers of Two and A Half Men wrote the CSI episode "Two and A Half Deaths" and the CSI writers wrote "Fish in a Drawer" with a brief appearance by George Eads. There is probably a thread in the CSI (LV) Forum of this board.

Re: 2 & half men & CSI

^^Yep, it was a writer crossover with the original CSI.

Since the question only relates to one of the shows, I'll bump it over to the show-specific forum. :)

Thanks. I merged the Ep discussion thread and that question thread so that LoneWolfe001 could see more on the CSI part. ;)

Yeah, I agree christmaslights not my favorite either. I liked the Two and a Half Men episode better with the CSI writers.
