Head of the Graveyard Shift
*mods please lock if a thread like this exists*

I know that most or all of us love to travel the world. Because of that I figure I'd create a thread in which we all could share stories and photos of places that we travelled to. Also, if we're going to a specific area like Vancouver someone from that area can share some places to go to. I hope it works.

what a Great thread
since I have a fear of flying I havent been to a whole lot of places
but I've been to California (because its so close to Oregon)
a ton of times
Washington (even closer to Oregon then California is) also alot of times
Hawaii two times
and Holland once
(I've also been to NY but it doesnt count because I was stuck at the airport and couldnt leave)

Florida
Saskatchewan
British Columbia
Toronto

Well, let's see. DO NOT go to Saskatchewan if you don't like giant flying horseflies OR wiggly fish.
DONT go to Toronto unless you have business because their airport is nuts and the people want your money.
DO go to Gatorland in Florida. Lotsa gators and snakes. And the occasional Flamingo...

Watch out. I've been to a lot of US states so here's my list;

Maine, New Hampshire, Mass., Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, Conn., Penn., Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tenn., Kentucky, Indiana, Illinos, Michigan, Wisc., Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming.

I've also been to Niagra Falls in Canada and that's about it.

I really do want to go over seas though. After I hit all the fifty states in the US.

i love going on vacation, however, it's hard to find a travel partner...these are the only places i've been to

philly
boston
washington dc
miami
orlando
cleveland
San francisco
las vegas
new orleans
dallas
san antonio
toronto
montreal
quebec
cancun, mexico
dominian republic
bahamas

hopefully, i'll get to go to europe someday

Well..I've never strayed North America, but here's the provinces/states that I've been to:
Alberta(I live here!), British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario

Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, California, Wyoming, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virgina, Washington D.C., Delaware & Massachusettes
I really want to go to the southern states - especially Florida!

Hmm...most of my travelling the past 20 years has been rock and roll road trips, whether I was playing or following a band that was, but there's been a few actual vacation-type vacations and one extended stay that qualified as living somewhere for a little while...

Furthest travelled from home - Calais, France
Longest trip (not counting temporary residency in England) - 10 days, Dallas/Ft Worth area
Wierdest trip - 1992, flew L.A. to Boston, stayed in MA a week, flew back to L.A., same afternoon turned around & flew to Houston for 3 days. (triangular trip would have cost more)
Busiest trip - Hawaii, June 1971, one week. I was a singer in a performing group, and we had 2 shows a day for five days, one day off, three shows one day, a radio show on the way to the hotel from the airport and a TV taping on the way to the airport from the hotel. I didn't see much of Hawaii...
Most fun trip - hard to say but probably a rock and roll trip that was me, my husband, my son and a buddy from England - drove from L.A. to Fresno to San Francisco to Denver (!) for shows, then back to L.A. with an overnight stay at the Grand Canyon. I could probably write a book about that trip alone!
What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas trip - 1993, me, my husband and son, two friends from England and one from the Netherlands. Won't spill it all, but extreme daytime heat, copious amounts of alcohol, one Brit buddy hauling my pajama-clad then-13-year-old through a casino figuring he'd be a chick magnet , and a bed mattress pushed halfway out a hotel room window were involved...
Most relaxing trip - North Sonoma County, 1998. Nothing like the Wine Country, baby!
Fantasy trip I dream of taking - Germany to visit friends, then Italy, Greece, Serbia, maybe stop in Ireland on the way back.

I have travelled to:
Italy
Virgin Islands
New Zealand

But unfortunately no pictures. My favourite was Virgin Islands. Love the beach.
