I didn't know that. From what i know she was supposed to start that night bcuz the team was short and they needed someone...

Also Sara can't get into the lab cuz she is not a CSI anymore and when they try to get her job back they can't. I think that would be a mistake in part of the producers, the new CSI (Riley Adams) get a job and Sara doesn't??? some people won't like that...

And Sara can't get a job, Jorja Fox is not coming back to the show, just doing a few episodes this season.

i know that jorja is just coming back for a few episodes. But how do you explain in the show the fact that the new girl get to stay and Sara doesn't ? the audience won't like that.

^ Because Sara quit and left in a way that most employers won't like? Because the new girl IS indeed a CSI?

Part of the audience won't like it, and part of it won't dislike it. That's life.

None of us know what's going on really, only depending on *spoiler* news or unless something leaks out and CBS is mum, and the premiere is still over 3 months away [Sept.25] so everything is subject to change:confused: just a tid-bit from the latest TV Guide on a answer from Jorja~

Q "Are you ready to do some more TV"?
A "It will be hard to follow up CSI. NO matter what I do, it's going to be big shoes to fill. If I'm going to do TV, then my loyalty and my heart belong to CSI

If she wants to stay trust me, the staff and TPTB will let her, not to say they'll ditch the new girl, but it has happened before, and Jorja does have clout, just the fact that she was on for 8 years, and they wanted her, or let her come back says alot!

YEAH!!!! i love Sara's character. and her comeback will have an impact!!! but i think that after she leaves, it will take a long time for her to come back...

I delurked for 3 minutes and only 3 minutes. I've been skimming this Sara thread, even though I dislike her, I still always think I'm supposed to be in the spoiler lab, then I roll my eyes and leave................someone said Vartann, and someone said Wallace not on the cast list...News?

^ Where you did you see that? I have not seen that yet. I think it will be pushed back though if the actors strike, which looks like it may happen.

October 9th! That's ages away!! But I suppose if the actor's strike happens there's nothing that can be done.

And regarding Jorja saying her heart belongs to CSI, that's fantastic, and if she wanted to come back permanently, I agree, they'd let her, but i think the way it'd have to be done would need to be super realistic for all/most fans to be happy, because I mean Sara fans (me included) would be happy however she came back I guess (to a certain extent at least). I don't know if that actually makes sense...

But we'll see I guess.

^ i wonder how is gonna be the season premiere!! Grissom is gonna be glad to see Sara back, and that great but i would love to see a scene between Greg and Sara!!!

Does anyone have any theories as to how they are going to have Grissom missing for several weeks again seeing as how WP is due to do his play again?

Since he cannot go on another sabbatical then I guess the options are:

-not mention it at all. A bit lame but...
- Grissom ill. Kinda done that. Unless serious.
- goes on leave. abit too like sababbatical unless it is a honeymoon! Hard to imagine so close to Warrick's death.
- Grissom gets suspended. I like this idea if he is on the hunt for McKeen it could be logical.
- Grissom is shot/injured. Perhaps again as a result of being onto McKeen.

Any thoughts folks?

Well they always talk about how he has all this vacation time, maybe he simply will take a much needed vacation/break from work after the whole Warrick thing.

I definitely want to see a scene between Sara and Greg if she is back. I just think it would be appropriate.

I think the suspended option is a good theory!

As is the shot/injured option, especially if he gets too close to finding the truth about Warrick - then maybe something bad happens.

It'll depend on how many episodes they have got done before Billy goes home to Chicago I guess. Cos they maybe could time it to coincide with Sara leaving after her brief return, it would seem reasonable that he went away with her for a bit. That may be a boring option, but it'd make sense!

Well, he could go and teach a seminar or something or how about he's going to help another city set up a crime lab? How about he goes to the FBI Forensics labs to show them how it's done.

Personally, I hope one of the characters gives Sara hell for just leaving and not saying good-bye. There has to be and should be ramifications for that. I know if my dear friend just left and didn't say anything, I wouldn't let them off scott free after they returned. If they all just welcome her back with open arms, I'm not going to be a happy camper. That just isn't real, someone has to be mad and tell her so. I'm not saying this has to happen in the first episode, but it should happen.

I think maybe Greg should be one of them, since he was so upset at her leaving, but Nick should say something too, since he'll already be a wreck after Warrick dying.
