I get the feeling that Yelina's leaving is a big plot device to up the ante between Hotatio and herself. I wouldn't be surprised if she returned during sweeps.

Oooh - I like that idea very much!

I do find it interesting that the writers/producers have seemingly left the door open for Yelina's possible return. If they had written her off for good, surely they would have told Sofia thanks and goodbye in a more permanent way, but they haven't done that according to her website.

I'll do some looking around Leanne and I totally agree with you Lucy! The writers are too professional to just make Sofia think that her roll is still possible and not tell her so.

Turns out we'll get to see Sofia this fall even if not on Miami. August 23rd, she presented awards at the Latin Grammy Awards and it will be broadcast November 6th. So tune in!
