Had Gris not wanted to maintain his calm exterior, he might have done one of the slackjawed looks; he didn't know about the baby. He managed to keep most of the surprise out of his face though.

"That's true, but she'll talk to you when she's ready, and if you push her, she'll just get angrier,and the situation will get worse, believe me, I know." He'd gotten in enough arguments with her to not want to make her more upset.
 
"thats a nice name... im sure cathrine would be delighted!" he said. "and, why emily... it is a very pretty name, but... never mind." he smiled. "its beautiful." nick smiled as he thought about saying 'Emily! lunch!' or 'hurry up emily! we're gonna miss the school bus!' he was very excited about becoming a dad.
 
Grissom was relieved to have a bit of backup; he was sure he could have handled it, but it'd be his luck his bad people skills would kick in and he'd make Laura more upset and maybe dangerous, and he didn't want that.

Sara looked at Nick "Emily was one of the Only Foster mothers I had that was actually nice to me" she frowns "she died in a fatal car accident though" she rubs her stomach "but her Memory will live on"

Laura Sidle Looked at Catherine "I suppose you're all right" she followed the Blonde out the door but this wouldnt be the last time they saw her
 
Nick smiled. "we're here!" he said pulling into the parking lot. He got out of the car and grabbed a table for the two. "i am HUNGRY!" he said.
 
She smiled as she gazed into his eyes "uh Nick you're not the one eating for two here" she eyed the menu "and I really dont know what I want everything looks so good"
 
Nick smiled. "well, lets not forget your the vegitarean here!" he laughed. Nick then looked over at the other end of the restraunt. "oh no!" he said as he stopped smileing and his jaw dropped.
 
Sara frowned as she looked in his direction "What is she doing following us? Doesnt she get the hint that I have no desire whatsover to see her" she reached for Nicks hand so he could reassure her
 
Cath waited for Laura to get in, then got in herself. She could tell something was gnawing at her. "Mrs. Sidle, do you mind my asking what happened?"
 
"um... maybe she wont see us here." he finally took his eyes off of laura. "do you want to stay here anyhow?" he asked. Nick sighed. "tell ya what, we can eat, but if she comes over here, then i will either escort her, or we can leave." he said
 
Sara smiled "No I think we'll be okay" she noticed as she saw Catherine escorting Laura Perhaps she wasnt following them at all "she gazed into Nicks eyes"

Laura frowned "with our family? where do I start, my husband ,Sara's father was Abusive to me and to her ,I had to do it it was self defense" was all she could muster to say
 
Laura looked at the Young Lady "He was Drunk, he beat me and he was after Her you see usually after he'd had to much to drink he'd phsyically abuse me and ...."she wiped a tear she didnt want to tell the woman what he would do to Sara "so anyays I wasnt going to let him again so I stabbed him"
