The Official Pet Thread pt2

Oh Anna, when you send me Mia's pictures, I started to love her :p She was so cute :D
Why don't you buy another?

btw, did you saw the Ski's pics? That dog that you have a dream, remember? Sleeping with him

The pics are in the page 11 or 12, can't remember sweetie :)

Yeah, he'll keep you safe but I already warned you that you'll be very warm

Well I had a banner day with Troy George.

I have hole in my couch, it's underneath. Somehow he crawled under the couch (an amazing feat given the space is an inch high off the floor and he's about 12 or 13 pounds) and was stuck inside for hours. I sat on the thing and felt something moving and I freaked because I thought it was a mouse. I look inside and there he was, looking fretful. I said, "Holy crap Troy George! How the heck did you get in there!" He gave me a plaintive meow and I hoisted him out.

Poor guy was scared to death and every little noise in the house made him jump.

I've blocked the hole, but lord I was freaked out as much as he was over it.

Now as for my other two kitties, here's a nice pic I took of them today. Smokey called them Ying and Yang because of how they were curled up together.

Ohhhh they're so cute and adorable :)

Well your Troy George seems to be an adventure lover  My cat Juri loves to hide behind the TV wardrobe... as he was smaller it was no problem and easily got out again but now... well let's say when he's meowes I'll be on all fours to help him out there...

I would be freaked too, I can give you that... I was scared to dead as Juri jumped down our balkony from the first store just because my damn sister forgot to lock the door... thank god he was alright...

Smella??? Shakers??? :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw: Thank god my cat has an easy name

I just got two doggies. We've been looking for the right dog for a while now and we came across an add for them. We really only wanted 1 dog and not a puppy, but after seeing her we couldn't resist. We ended up taking her daddy too since he is such a charmer and I fell in love with both instantly. Here is the daddy Peanut He's a Jack Russell and here's his little girl Daisy She thinks she is a princess in that dress.

Her mommy is a Shitzu, so that makes her a jackshit

Cute dogs Sue. Welcome to the wonderful world of pet ownership. It's nice you got both of them :)

A couple of updated pictures of our store cats :)
What cute kitties!
So Jacquie, you have cats that live at your store and at your house? So no getting away from the critters at all? Does the cats help sell stuff? Like give advice to customers about what foods are best? I'm sure when someone sees the cats sleeping in those toys that helps, they can see how comfy it is for them. I bought one of those wicker pet bed baskets for my pets and neither the cat or dogs will get in them. Any advice on how to get them to sleep in it?

the only break we get from cats apart from doing stuff outside the house on our days off is the drive time to and from the store so that is usually a hour to two hours daily :)

Yes the cats do help sell the merchandise :) but we have yet been able to get the cats to do the carry outs. They get all the attention and we do the work :shifty: Cats true to the core  Sometimes having another cats smell on the furniture will encourage your cat to use it. That being said we do get customers that want the product without the cat fur on it. We'll gladly order the stuff in minus the fur :)

Advice for getting your pets to sleep in their beds? Sleep in them yourself and once the animals realize that it's your bed they'll sleep in :guffaw:but seriously sometimes it may be location of the bed or even the type. The store cats are always changing the locations of where they sleep. Sometimes they'll even sleep on top of the large bags of dog food or even the kitty litters. Who can tell with them. At home we have 3 beds for the cats and yes they do use them. The beds are located in the livingroom where we do watch TV. But they also use our beds, chesterfield, dining room chairs and what ever else they deem as theirs to sleep on.
