Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

OMG, you guys should see the picture MY kids drew
it says CSI and (granted they are only 5) drew GRISSOM
Blue eyes, grey curly hair and a beard and one girl drew glasses :)
I thought that was funny
and the kids I teach know about Grissom too

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

Mine are a little more critical as I teach secondary pupils. Though they do prefer this version to other CSI franchises. And I did threaten to fail them if they moaned about the screen saver!

Just got to convince them that William Petersen is the hottest thing on TV. Works for me! He must be. I've never signed up to a webchat forum thing before. See? Totally under his blue eyed spell!

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

LOL...I wouldn't mind a teacher like that. Though knowing me, I'd complain for more CSI NY sometimes hehe. *wishes there'd be some kind of crossover so Billy and Gary S could get together...if the other Gary and George were there too..and Eddie and Carmine and Hill...oh baby, all that hotness on one screen..*drool* *FAINT*

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

Do you need me to ring for an ambulance for you, Mel23?!

I'm even trying to crowbar an episode in for the Media assignment. Which episode should I use? Hotness is essential for me and good drama for the kids. No, never mind the drama - just give me the hotness!

Yes, whichever episode you guys decided Billy looks the hottest in, I will write a scheme of work for! Not kidding!

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

I think I'll be needing an ambulance too... So many hott flashes...

And btw, he's only 3 years younger than me, so he's no toyboy. Playgirl, maybe? ;) Hum, what a good idea for a centerfold...

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

Do they send ambulances out in fleets?! God, If he did a centrefold... *faints* *thud* Can someone dial 999 for us? Or 911 depending where you are!

*shakes head* Must...get...centrefold...image...out...of...fragile...imagination... *shakes again*

Nope. Stuck with it. Just in time for bed time! Unfortunately...*Yawn* Ahem...

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this but The WPAP has spare tickets for the Dec 14th evening showing of A Dublin Carol. If anyone is interested please email us at the WPAP email address.

Right. I want to analyse a CSI episode for GCSE English. This is serious. The future of our younger generation is at stake and they depend on you for this.

Which episode should I do? It must show Billy/Grissom at his hottest. 'Formalities' is my tuxic favourite, followed very closely by 'Jackpot.'

You can shape the future of education. It will also teach them how gorgeous Grissom is. That is far more important than qualifications.

Please help. Then we can do a poll for favs and I can write the scheme of work and teach it!

Ready to rise to the challenge?

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

imho, the best episode ever is Jackpot... Let me list some of the reasons I chose this one:

1. It's the closest to a one-man show I can think of. I'd love to see this man of many talents do one!

2. The Beard!

3. The jeans!

4. The short sleeves!

5. When his field kit is stolen, his ingenuity and cleverness allow him to gather and process the evidence as usual. He knows how to improvise.

6. He notices everything around him, like when Lt. Brooks leaves his fingerprints on the rail, and the three dimensions of the crime scene: the burial spot, the road where the vic had his "accident" and the barn where the vehicle is hidden.

7. This episode also shows his dedication to his work. Remember, he drove all night long to get there, then worked all day long to gather the evidence, and then processed it during the night. He only went to sleep when he could do no more.

8. He's the one to give the correct explanation concerning how Ross Janson was buried alive and thought about how the dog was affected after discovering the head, thus connecting the two events.

9. "She hates it when we're apart..." and "Hello, dear." I love these quotes!

As for Formalities, yes, he was extremely hott! But I see it as a Catherine episode rather than a Grissom one. And I think the case itself was very confusing.

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

I agree with GGgirl.

I do think that Jackpot is a much better episode to analyze, because it is entirely focused on Grissom.

And it IS Grissom at his hottest -CSI vest + jeans + backwards cap = it doesn't get hotter than this :p

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

ok, off the top of my head is Jackpot, but GGgirl1 already said it.. so I'm going with Butterflied

here is why...

It too is a totally Grissom centered episode
It shows his determination to solve cases ( ok, not into the GSR, but he did have compulsion to solve the case, wheather it was "Sara driven" or not, but that is another thread)
Catherine helped out, just slightly
and he came to terms with his feelings for Sara through a case, which is EXACTLY like him, there was no "romance", or "mushy" stuff involved just Grissom doing what he does best, finding the evidence

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

GGgirl good analysis of the eppy- I agree totally- ;) actually S/4 is my favorite season , the first time he wore his beard- I loved "Butterflied" when he gave his little disertation at the end, such great acting- his timing- so precise-he hadn't slept and it showed - he's so good---- and "Bloodlines" as well- he ruled in this season, and next on my list S/5-loved "Viva Las Vegas" the opener- fast paced and 4 stories combined into one eppy-when him and Greg out together in the field- and Greg blowing it- and Grissom so patient ;)

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

I think Jackpot is the best Grissom-centered episode.
He's totally out of his element..the lab..in a town full of strangers, and he has to make do with his kit being stolen.
Plus how can you beat seeing Grissom in jeans and a t-shirt.

Re: The "HOTTNESS of WILLIAM/GRISSOM" Page 7

heeey y'all! i'm safe, sound and settled in the US in my dorm room! my trip here took me around 24 hours but i actually got back yesterday night and didn't have time to catch up on ya'll until now ;)

as for the best Grissom episode, you know which one i like the best. Formalities of course! NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING beats the tux. i completely adore Butterflied too. i can even quote the whole final monologue from my head :D it's fantastic. i also LOVED when he talked with sara on the phone and sounded so confused and didn't know what to say *siiiiigh*

ITA with GGgirl go with "Jackpot"

An episode filled with so much Hottness!
luvlove.gif
An episode where Grissom because MacGyver. An episode where kids can learn to improvise, use their own imagination. :D
Teaching kids about bugs at a crime scene, trees, needles, leaves and dirt on the victim, cat hairs etc . . .

I'd go with "Jackpot"
