He certainly is and thank you! :)

I quite liked 'Jade', but it's not one of my fave DC movies. His acting is great as always, but I didn't like the story too much.

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

If we're talking movies, then I recommend 'Mad dog and Glory'. He's so adorable in it, especially the scene where he's fighting that big fella in the apartment. His hair is all messed up and he's a little bit bloody and sweaty, but so lovely! Does that make me a little weird?

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

I'm still not appreciating him as anything other than a beloved family member, but he's doing a really good job with H. IMHO anyways. Brings a human quality to him thats nice.

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

And the one were he had shaggy hair...I think it was called cold around the heart.

I didn't recognize the title at first since I saw the film under the name of 'Cold Heart'.

However, Davy did indeed play in a movie by that title in 1997 as Ned Tash alongside actress Kelly Lynch.
I checked to make sure and the film won a Jury Prize for director John Ridley.

Well, if that makes you a little weird, I'm definitely a little weird too, because I love that scene! :D I really enjoyed 'Mad Dog and Glory'. Here's a pic:

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

Oohh! I'm loving the picture. How adorable is that?

From one weirdo to another - got any more?!

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

Oh mi gosh! He's bleeding! Somebody! Call the medic!!! Can't stop myself after seeing our Davy bleed like that. He's hair has a darker shade of red. It's even more red that when he's in CSI Miami. Maybe he was younger in that pic. But the colour really is striking!

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

'Mad Dog and Glory' came out in 1993, so David would have been 37. His hair certainly is a brighter red. I will have a look for some more pics later. :)

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

It could also be the quality of picture in the early 90s.

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

Yeah! But doesn't matter. Even his face is red. Lol. I don't think I've known any other actor or men for that matter with as much redness as DC/HC does!

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

Aww that piccy of David all sweaty and stuff is cute, Horatio should get injured - you know so he can be pampered, and we see a really manly Horatio who doesnt want people to touch it - you know like kids do "don't touch it, dont touch it"

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

I saw that movie like a year ago (well into my Miami watching days) and I was whooping for our Davy to win! I was like," Hey, you brown haired guy! Let him fight." At the time I was imagining the other guy as Stetler.

Anyway, here is a pic of Davy from 'Without Warning' (1980):
