Those two scenes (the 'Lost Son' and 'Innocent' ones) were great, I agree. Horatio so rarely loses his composure that when he does, it really stands out. He has to keep his emotions under control so often, and under the surface, you just know he's simmering.

I also love the scene in 'Freaks and Tweaks' when Chaz insults Raymond, H loses it, grabs Chaz and says, "Frank, get him out of here before I soil my reputation". The look on Frank's face is priceless. A momentarily out of control Horatio is just awesome! :D

I agree with you on the one Esmeralda. I like to way H brings more of his feelings in to it than Grissoms charater.

Oh how about when Horatio grabbed Pete Keller's hair eh, i thought that was awesome. I'm not a big fan of h i've always been a speed fan but they way he just grabbed his hair and said "Pete you just got a CSI killed so i suggest you take your last opp. and talk to me rightnow." i was like yay!!! go H!

I hear you! Exactly my thoughts! I love Griss, but I think H is better... he's way cooler in a way.

I enjoyed Cross-Jurisdictions when he sat next to the little girl in the woods and said to her `why dont we sit here and get found together' it was so sweet :)

He just comes off as a very caring person. The way he tilts his head can say a lot. And if you did something criminal you better watch out cause hes gonna get you one way or another.

H does come off as a very strong person, and yes I agree with you about hiding his emotions. I love it when he does eventually loose his temper. It's one of those, 'Don't mess with me' kinda ways lol. I like the head tilting and the bending he does that quite alot!

Sorry guys for not posting in about a week. My family and I just moved. Anyway,

The way he deals with kids
    His calm demeanor
The way he gets real close to a suspect and whispers
    His sunglasses
    His clothes
    His Hummer
    His relationship with Yelina
    His RED hair

Personally, I think the best part of Horatio is his sunglasses. He does it so often, that I'm suprised that someone hasn't gone up to him and said "What's up with the sunglasses thing?" It would be funny if someone on the show imitated him and his sunglasses move. I wonder how he'd react...
